Bowe Organics - The Gift of Lips and Brows

I was first introduced to Bowe Organics just over a year ago and today I am sharing one of their cute gift sets that comes beautifully packaged and features two products. If you are not familiar with the brand, it was founded by Diane Bowe, a freelance hairdresser living in London. She stumbled into the world of Organic beauty when she started to use organic colours and products for her hairdressing back in 2012. This is where her passion fuelled journey began.
Bowe Organics - The Gift of Lips and Brows
The gift of Lips and Brows (£25 here) is for those of us who need a bit of help with the sparse brow and at this time of the year, when it is cold outside,  lip balms are a necessity as well as a must have product.

The first product is the Brow Oil (£16.50), a new addition to the Bowe Organics line up and it is described as being a saviour for those of you who have over plucked, over tweezed or who would just like more defined brows. I fit into all three of those categories to be honest, I am not fortunate to have lovely bushy brows or ones that grow back quick at all, so I definitely need all the help I can get.
Bowe Organics - The Gift of Lips and Brows
This brow oil is filled with high quality organic and natural ingredients which have been ethically sourced. Ingredients such as castor oil, which is known for its ability to help thicken and strengthen hair, there is also the inclusion of black seed oil, known for its beauty benefits in ancient Egypt, it also helps aid the growth of your brows. Finally the inclusion of both Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E.

Packaged in a bottle with a pipette, this Brow Oil is really easy to apply, you can either use 1-2 drops from your fingertips or, if you have a spoolie handy, you can also use that too.  I have only been using this Brow Oil for 4-5 weeks now, so I will update after a few months.

The second product within this box is the Lip Rescue Balm (£8) is packaged inside this handy pot and is described as being incredibly hydrating for the lips. Each balm is hand poured rather than being mass produced, so it might not always look perfect when you open it, but it is incredibly good.
Bowe Organics - The Gift of Lips and Brows
This balm is enriched with a host of loving ingredients including - Raspberry Seed Oil, which is known for its anti-ageing properties, Shea and Cocoa Butter, both of which work to keep your lips protected and hydrated and there is also Almond Oil which helps to rejuvenate.

Not only does this work amazingly well as a lip balm, but I have used it on my cuticles, which admittedly have been neglected during lockdown!

Bowe Organics do have a few other products within their line-up which are worth looking at and trying, especially as they are produced by hand and not mass produced.

Christmas Gifting with Ren Clean Skincare

Bold, bright and beautiful is how Ren Clean Skincare are describing their Christmas. This year they have collaborated with German illustrator Lisa Tegtmeier for a 'dynamic Christmas Clean to Planet gifting collection'.  Each gift set is described as being confident, colourful and with a courageous design that celebrates our planet, each one if gifted inside a sustainable box which is so beautiful you will not want to throw it away.
Christmas Gifting with Ren Clean Skincare
I was kindly sent two of the products from the Ren Christmas Gift Sets* and there are six on offer in total. So whether you are, like me, a massive fan of REN, want to discover more about the brand or simply want to stock u on your favourites, there is something to celebrate each of the best the brand has to offer.

The first product I am sharing is one of my 'must-have' items from REN, it is something I am never without on my bedside table and possibly, one of my most repurchased items.  The Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm (£50), which featured in my Ren Skincare Heroes post back at the beginning of the year.

This Balm is literally perfect for anyone and everyone who feels their skin is in need of some TLC. Whether your skin dry, irritated and is in need of some calming, this balm is a miracle working. This balm is really rich and is said to feed your skin with lipids from Olive, Almond, Borage and Linseed oils, all of which have been activated so they are easily absorbed into the skin. Coming together they all work to intensely nourish and moisturise your skin whilst you sleep. Within this balm, you will also find both Jojoba and sunflower oil which support the skin's natural lipid balance which in turn helps to strengthen the skin protective barrier. Then we have an ingredient called Beta-glucan which soothes and alleviates signs of irritation from dryness.

Priced at £50 here*, every jar sold, REN will donate £1 to Planet Patrol to help keep our oceans and waterways cleaner worldwide.

The second gift set within my collection is the Body Bliss Rose Duo and if ever there was a duo to try from REN, especially if you love the scent of Moroccan Rose, then this is the one you need.  I absolutely adore the scent of rose and both of these products are just stunning, featuring one of the world's most expensive essential oils, rose otto oil is known for its ability to soothe and calm, leaving skin soft and cleansed, and the mind de-stressed.

The duo included within this set is the Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash and in the same scent, the body lotion. Infused with the most wonderful aromatherapeutic Rose Otto Oil, plus a blend of Palmarosa and Geranium Oils, not only is the scent uplifting, it leaves your skin delicately scented, smooth and feeling moisturised. Using the two together intensifies that incredible scent on the skin whilst the fragrance from the body wash, lingers throughout the house too.

Worth £50, but on sale here* for just £40, again for all sets sold, REN will donate £1 to Planet Patrol to help keep our oceans and waterways cleaner worldwide.

Gemporia Jewellery - Three Tone Sterling Silver Ring

When Gemporia got in touch to ask if I would like to try and review some of their jewellery, the hardest decision wasn't saying yes, it was choosing a piece of jewellery because not only is there a lot of choice, but the prices are amazing too.
Gemporia Jewellery - Three Tone Sterling Silver Ring
Gemporia, if you have never come across them are a business who set up the very first gemstone channel, known then as Gems TV in 2004. Fast-forward to now and Gemporia is very proud to be an employee-owned company, which is broken down to mean that 75% of the business is owned by trusts for the benefit of the team members, with the remaining 25% being owned by the founders.

At Gemporia, you can find a whole host of items across the jewellery spectrum from earrings and necklaces to bracelets and rings plus, they even have their very own lifestyle collection with features candles, beauty, homeware and a whole lot more.

I decided to choose a ring, something I could wear everyday that worked with my working from home attire as much as it does my Office Christmas Party on Zoom outfit. With Gemporia, rings comes in all different types, sizes, colours, shapes and design.  They also have a whole host of precious gemstones to choose from, assuming you want a gemstone, but they also offer options without a gemstone too.  I opted for a classically designed Ring from the My Exclusive collection, made of Three Tone Gold Plated Sterling Silver.
Gemporia Jewellery - Three Tone Sterling Silver Ring
Initially, I looked at rings featuring my birthstone of a Ruby, I don't own a piece of Ruby jewellery and the ring I should have inherited from my grandmother was stolen in a house invasion. Anyway, I then got side-tracked by stacking rings and finally settled on this classic and I absolutely love it.

With the three tone rings of gold, silver and rose gold, they sit together tightly enough so that they don't constantly spin around on your finger whilst you are wearing them, but are a great distraction to twiddle with when you are procrastinating!

Choosing your ring size with Gemporia is really easy and a process other brands should most definitely adopt!  Gemporia has an app which you can you download onto your phone and on it has a ring-sizing option on it.  All you need to do is place a piece of your current jewellery onto your phone screen and toggle with the settings slightly, following the guide, this then chooses your size and you can order your ring.  Ring sizes go up to a size W, so if like me you have big knuckles, you will find something to wear.

The ring I chose costs just £59.99 which is an absolute steal, but right now it is on sale and costs just £37.19 - so if you have that last minute gift to grab, even for yourself, this is an amazing place to look.  Plus, if you choose not to wear it as a ring, Gemporia shows one of their models wearing it on a simple necklace chain and it looks amazing too!

Opening the magnetic closing, inside, the interior wallpaper of the box features a contemporary liquid gold marbled design with product and ingredient story visible to read. Margaret Dabbs' Reviving Elixir is described as being an expertly formulated lotion which is enriched with Colloidal Gold. Colloidal gold is known for its ability to heal micro damage and its strong anti-inflammatory properties which in turn helps to reduce redness and swelling. This makes it an ideal ingredient for those who suffer with sensitive, dry and irritated skin, ageing skin and inflammation caused by conditions such as bunions and one of the issues I suffer with - plantar fasciitis .  Also included is BuritiCalendula and Hempseed which come together to help combat signs of ageing as well as helping to soothe dry, cracked skin. The best part? It smells absolutely incredible and that comes from the inclusion of both Bergamot and Petitgrain.
Margaret Dabbs Pure Gold Elixir For Feet
The lotion itself is lightweight and non-greasy when applied to the feet and it is something you are encourage to use daily to keep them in tip top condition.   For me, this Elixir is an absolute treat to use and when used in conjunction with the Exfoliating Foot Scrub as part of a pampering routine, it creates a wonderfully scented atmosphere and a great treat for your feet too.

Priced at £85, you can find this Pure Gold Elixir for Feet via Margaret Dabbs, Lookfantastic*, Harrods*, Net a Porter* and of course Liberty*.
