How To Choose The Right Nail Colour For Your Outfit

When you see the variety of nail polish colours today, you realise and I understand you how hard, it`s making the right choice and pick the appropriate nail colour for your outfit. For some women, it's a huge problem. So I think I can give you some advice how to pick the proper nail colour in such a way that your nails to go with your outfit. 

When I say that I want to give you some advice I mean that when I have a problem and can`t to choose the nail colour for my clothes I`m guided by several general rules which always help me. Now I`d like to share them with you.

Don't Try To Go “Matchy-Matchy”

Firstly, stop trying to select your nail colour to a particular piece of clothes like if you're going to wear a purple skirt you have to choose only among purple nails designs. That`s wrong! Don't get hung up on one piece of clothes, start picking nail colour in such a way that it can work well with most of your outfits. Really, it's not so difficult to do. For example, if you like striped clothes and striped outfits occupy much space in the wardrobe don't be afraid to colour stripes on your nails. There are colours such as red and green or yellow and blue that have a great contrast, but if you decide to pair them together into your nails they will look fabulous.

Look Also For The Inspiration In Your Accessory, Bag Or Shoes

A nice way to make sure that your nail colour matches with your outfit, is to match it with your accessories. If you're wearing a blue wristband you can choose a blue colour for your nails without a doubt. If you like jewellery with large stones you can colour your nails of the colour of the stone on your ring. Gold jewellery and a gold shade of your nail polish work well together and make your look more delicate.

Play With Contrast

Looking for the best nail polish for your outfit don't forget about the great power of contrast. If you're wearing the one-color dress you can pick a contrasting colour for your nails or even experiment with colourful nail art. Wearing the printed dress it would be better to go for one colour tone nails and make sure that it matches to your look and in any way doesn't contrast with it.

Use Basic Nail Colours

In the case when you don`t know how to match your outfit with nail polish pay your attention to the basic nail polishes. Nudes, pastel colours or French manicure will go perfectly with any type of outfit that you like wearing.

Some stylists say that your nail polish must never match to your outfit while others state it looks gorgeous. So, my main advice is to choose the nail polish based on your outfit and go with your innate colour sense.

This Exfoliating Facial Gel with Rose Petals gently exfoliates and eliminates dead skin cells. The gentle gel formula contains tiny grains to reveal smoother and more refined skin. I am a huge fan of anything rose scented and this scrub smells just like a freshly bouquet of roses.

This gel which used lychee seeds and nutshell powder as exfoliating particles alongside rosemary water which works as an anti-microbial astringent to purify the skin and normalise oil production, leaves my skin feeling so incredibly soft and smooth to the touch.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse – Sample Size 10ml 10 Credits 

This one of my favourite products from Nuxe. It is described as being a beauty dry oil which is made up of seven Precious Plant Oils which nourishes, repairs and softens both the skin and hair. 

To do this, those seven oils includes:

• Camellia oil - hydrating
• Sweet almond oil - softening
• Macadamia nut oil - nourishing
• Borage seed oil - smoothing properties
• Argan oil - repairing
• Hazelnut oil -soothing
• Tsubaki oil - highly nourishing and anti-ageing

This is silicone-free formula, which is quickly absorbed leaving your skin satin-soft and adds gloss and suppleness to hair in a single step.

The fourth and final item is from Manna Kadar, a brand I have not come across until I received this edit. In this case I have a travel sized Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain in the colour Shae. Described as being a light pink neutral cream, it is such a beautiful shade and perfect for everyday. 

I love that the texture isn't tacky or stick once it is applied and I am really impressed with the pigmentation, it applies so brilliantly after just one swipe of the wand across the lips and it uses ingredients such as vitamin A , E and Berry extracts to keep lips nourished and moisturised. 

As a fan of Nuxe, I was really chuffed to get this edit as I love all three products and with the edition of a brand I have never come across until now, it was a lovely introduction and I am intrigued to try some other products from the range.

L'Occitane Almond Refining Concentrate

L'Occitane is one of my absolute favourite brands and within their extensive range of products is the Almond Collection which I just adore.  For someone who hates everything Marzipan related, I cannot get enough of the Almond range and today I am sharing some of them with you.

Pressed Almond extract is a new active ingredient patented by L'Occitane and it has been placed at the heart of their brand new product -  Refining Concentrate (£45 for 200ml).  Using Almond Oil, pressed almond extract and caffeine, together they are expertly blended to create an incredible indulgent cream which is just a delight to use.  

On the skin it is silky soft and absorbs quickly leaving behind no hint or trace it was ever there, it isn't sticky or tacky and the only giveaway is just the scent of almonds.

The Almond Shower Gel is my absolute favourite shower gel, I go through bottles of this stuff. A winner of multiple beauty awards across the globe, this oil isn't quite like any oil I have ever used. When it comes into contact with water it turns from an oil into a lavish milky foam.

I cannot tell you how much I adore this shower oil. Not only does my skin just drinks it up. 

Enriched with Almond Oil, it gently respects the skin's natural hydrolipidic film (to you and I, the hydrolipidic film is a protective film that covers the entire surface of the skin. Composed mainly of sweat, sebum and water and its main function is to defend the skin against bacteria, acting as an external protective barrier) and leaves behind a subtle but fresh almond blossom scent which lingers on the skin for hours after using.

Almond Delicious Hands Hand Cream - I am hand cream obsessed and get through a fair number of tubes. L'Occitane have an incredible range of hand creams and right now my hands, which are dry, cracked, peeling and just gross need a whole lot of love. 

This cream is enriched with both almond milk and almond oil to make a really silky-smooth cream which helps to nourish and soften the hands while enveloping them with the subtle and mouth-watering scent of fresh almonds.

Finally we have the Almond Delicious paste which was voted best luxury scrub in 2014 and I can see why, this paste is just simply incredible. 

Using a delicious blend of almond butter and almond oil which is infused with crushed almond shells and sugar crystals, this Delicious Paste works so effectively on the skin by not only eliminating dead cells and refining its texture but in leaving my skin so soft and smooth to the touch and delicately fragranced with the crunchy notes of fresh almond.
