The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Collection

Having already shared the Love & Plums Collection from The Body Shop, today I am sharing Kindness & Pears and again, it is one of the Seasonal Fragrance Collections.
The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Collection
This collection features more than 9 different products as well as being featured in some gift sets, so if it is something you like the sound of there is a lot of choice.  Today, I am sharing three different products from the range and if you have ever tried the Pear Bath Blend, then this is a collection you would love.

Described as being a special edition festive fragrance, this collection is enriched with pear extract from Italy and notes of juicy pear, strawberry and with it we also have the addition of warm tonka bean. This sweet, vibrant and fruity scent is said to guarantee to leave you feeling that Christmas kindness.

The first product is the Kindness & Pears Sugar Lip Scrub, a vegan product which comes packaged in a tub with a twist off lid and inside, the scrub smells just delightful and definitely as described above.
The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Collection
This is quite a creamy scrub and as well as being enriched with pear, strawberry and tonka bean, this scrub also features handcrafted Community Fair Trade Shea butter from Ghana and exfoliating sugar crystals, the latter creating the grains to scrub the dead and dry skin off your lips, without being too abrasive to scratch and irritate the lips.

As well as being great for use on the lips, I have also used this on dry patches of skin on my hands and it does such a god job at removing the dead skin.  Priced at £5.

The second product within this collection is the Kindness and Pears Body Yogurt and I absolutely love these, so soothing and cooling on the skin without being sticky or tacky.
The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Collection
Once again, as well as pear extract, this body yogurt is also enriched Fair Trade shea butter and Community Fair Trade organic almond milk which gives the most amazing scent and texture. As this is a yogurt rather than a cream, it has an incredibly lightweight texture to it, so it isn't too heavy and it absorbs as soon as it comes into contact with the skin, even if you use it on damp skin after getting out of the shower.  Once applied, the wonderful pear and almond scent comes through and lingers on the skin. This yogurt is also available for sale on its own and is priced at £11.

The third and final product within this collection of Kindness and Pears selection is the Fragrance Mist and once again, the scent is just absolutely lovely.
The Body Shop Kindness & Pears Collection
Keeping with the scent notes of Pear, Juicy Pear, Strawberry and Tonka Bean, in a mist such as this, the scent is much stronger than it is within the body yogurt but it is also perfect for laying with the body yogurt to ensure you really make the most of the scent.

Idea for keeping in your handbag, on your desk or even in the room, which I have also used a room mist, the scent is just lovely and uplifting and perfect for this time of year.  This Kindness & Pears Mist is priced at just £10.

The Kindness & Pears Collection is an absolutely lovely scent and there is still one more seasonal fragrance collection that I will be share on my blog and I also have a few gift guides coming from The Body Shop too.

NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk

At the start of 2021, I shared a new brand to my blog whom I had come to meet in 2020, that brand is Neuroskinfeeds with their MicroOil. Today is the turn of The MicroMilk, a product which is described as being a hydrating and ultra-light body moisturiser which can be used daily to keep dry skin at bay and skin silky soft.
NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk
NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk
Neuroskinfeeds was founded by leading Spanish counsellor and addiction specialist Tatu Cutillas. Tatu believes that there is a strong connection between what you put on your skin and your mood, something I agree with when it comes to products such as fragrances, whether it is a perfume, a wax melt or even a candle. I know that citrus blends tend to be uplifting for the mood and anything Lavender related is relaxing and calming. So with skin products, especially this one, I was intrigued.

Delicate enough to be used on the most sensitive of skin, MicroMilk has a really interesting put together holistic formula that was created for moisture barrier repair.  This Milk uses  ingredients such as
  • Camelina sativa seed oil which is antioxidant-rich and has a calming effect on both the mind and skin and helps restore the skin’s natural barrier. It acts as an anti-inflammatory, calming sensitised skin, whilst adding moisture and boosting the immune system.
  • Cannabis sativa seed oil + 1% CBD and this super booster is said to intensively nourish and regenerate sensitive and tired skin because it is not only rich in vitamins A and E, but it also deeply moisturises and improves the skin’s structure, whilst promoting those relaxing properties for the mind.
  • Aloe vera gel for hydrating, soothing and cooling skin whilst also reducing inflammation and itchiness, leaving it smooth and soft;
  • Shea butter which as an anti-inflammatory and one rich in polysaturated fatty acids (DHA) instantly softens, tones and conditions the skin. A must-try for anyone who is feeling stressed and has dry skin.
With all of those ingredients plus a few more besides, you can imagine just how soothing and hydrating this MicroMilk is on the skin.
NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk
It comes packaged in a pump action bottle, which makes it easy to use, you can control how much you want to use and then once it has been applied to the skin, it absorbs really well without being greasy, tacky, sticky or even slimey. It just leaves behind wonderful feeling skin and I can't help but like it a lot.

You can find this NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk here and it is priced at just £33 here.

House of Cats Hand and Body Collection

If ever there was a collection of products with the perfect name for me, it is this one - House of Cats. The House of Cats is a described as being a Manicure and Prosecco bar (how perfect) here in London and as well as looking after your hands and feet, The House of Cats have curated their very own range of products too.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
As you can see, the products look absolutely stunning and the lovely people at The House of Cats very kindly sent me a beautiful package of products to try. Included within the package is the Aloe Vera Hygiene Gel, Two bottles of Cuticle Oil, an Ultra Rich Hand & Body Cream plus an Ultra Rich Foot Cream.

I am sure right now, we are all still remembering to wash our hands, whether you are still singing Happy Birthday or not, who knows, but I have found that I have gone through a whole lot of hand gel, more than I normally would do, since lockdown. Having switched to the House Of Cats Aloe Vera Gel, not only is it much kinder to my skin, it has these wonderful little Aloe Vera spheres which are suspended within the gel.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
Despite containing a 60% Alcohol, this gel isn't at all drying on the hands, if anything, it is one of the most moisturising gels that I have used in quite some time.  Mine lives in the bathroom on the side of the sink and thankfully, because this is pump action, it is really easy to use, with one pump being more than enough for each use.  It does have a wonderfully fresh scent of Aloe Vera and I can imagine it would be really soothing on any burns!  It is priced at £9 for 500ml.

I am hopeless at looking after my cuticles, I can just about remember to file my nails, usually if one has broken or I've managed to snag it somewhere. So, I was delighted to see two Nail and Cuticle oils withing my package, because I have made an effort to use them.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
House of Cats Hand and Body CollectionThe first of the two oils is Ginger, Verbena and Lime and I absolutely love the scent of this, very much gets your attention with the scent of both Ginger and Lime. The second Cuticle Oil is Melon, Guava and Mango and also smells divine.

These two oils have been specially designed to preserve the skin’s softness as well as the natural elasticity of the nails. The use of added Vitamin E, Argan Oils and other specially selected ingredients come together to nourish and regenerate the skin, cuticles and the nail plate.  Neither of these oils is overly greasy, usually the reason I tend not to use a cuticle oil, is it takes days to absorb and it ends up everywhere, with these, the use of the brush makes the application a breeze because they don't become overloaded with product and one swipe is enough for each nail.  I am already a huge fan of these two and they cost just £9 each!

The Ultra Rich Foot Cream has been a delight to use also. During the Summer months, my feet and I live in Fitflops, they are by far the comfiest shoe I have ever worn, but my feet do always end up feeling dehydrated and in need of some TLC.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
This foot cream is so rich and luxurious that it is a dream to use. After showering, I use this as an excuse to have a lie down, smother my feet in the cream and wait for it to absorb.  It has been specially formulated to hydrate not only the skin of the feet but also the lower legs too, so when I apply it, I apply it pretty much to just above the ankle and wait for it to work its magic.

It has a great list of ingredients which includes Glycerin and Urea, both of which work to deeply moisturise the skin and preserve its water balance. Then we have added Bisabolol which has soothing properties before the rich Rosemary extract, which has regenerating and toning effects works its magic.  It is priced at £19.

The final item in my package is the Ultra Rich Hand & Body Cream in Melon, Guava and Mango.  I am never the best at using body creams, I always forget about them, unless they have really caught my attention - this pot is almost empty.
House of Cats Hand and Body Collection
Again, this cream has been specially formulated to provide hydration for your skin and to do that, it comes with an impressive list of ingredients. Starting with Glycerine and Urea to help maintain the skin’s moisture levels high. Then we have Jojoba Oils and Shea Butter which help to moisturise and keep your skin soft as well as  to provide protection from the harmful environmental influences and finally Bisabolol for its soothing and recovery properties.

As with the foot cream, this handy and body cream is incredibly luxurious and it just melts into the skin on application and of course it smells good enough to eat.  A great little after shower/bath treat.  This cream is priced at £19.

You can find all of these products on The House Of Cats website for sale and of course, their selection of treatments sound just divine too.

The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME

A few months ago I was invited along to the launch of “ME” the new range of fragrances from The Perfume Shop.
The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME
Me consists of a new range of perfumes, home fragrances and body care products that through the power of fragrance helps you feel Tranquil, Invigorated and Empowered.
“Today we hear a lot about improving ourselves, being the best we can be, and optimising every element of our life. That’s all great, but what if we wanted to take a little time out and ask isn’t it time we were all #HappyBeingMe”
The campaign and the timely launch of these products are all about celebrating the way you feel and your moods. The range is vegan, cruelty-free and is presented in completely recyclable packaging.

Of the three ranges available, I was given a mixture of the fragrances and products. Each of the scents for each range is said to distinctive and individual and within each range, you can find - an Eau de Parfum, Body Lotion, Hand Lotion, Hand Wash, candle, reed diffuser and a shower gel.

From the Tranquil range, I have the EDP, a unisex fragrance which comes packaged in a hefty weighted clear glass bottle with the name Granquil written clearly in the mint green colour matching the box and it features a wooden lid.
The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME
Tranquil as a range asks you to find peace and serenity with the fresh, green scent.

“The perfect spring floral green scent with a basil top note, a middle note of neroli and base notes of Vetiver and white musk”

As soon as the scent is spritzed they earthiness of the basil top note is immediately recognisable as it settles and it works well with Vetiver but the scent of Neroli which is a citrusy orange fragrance gives this EDP a kick. Priced at £14.99 for 100ml this makes a really good gift.

From the Invigorated range I have the Reed Diffuser and the body lotion and both products are simply divine.
The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME
The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME
The Invigorated range is described as being on which helps you feel awake and energised with the fresh and floral scents.

“A fresh, fruity-floral scent with a distinctive top note of blackberry, middle notes of bay leaves and a base note of cedarwood”

Looking at the notes for this range it definitely reminds me of Jo Malone and the scent itself is not too dissimilar, for me, it is slightly stronger on the blackberry note but with the inclusion of cedarwood which has a Woody tone to it, it gives the fragrance a more balanced scent.

The reed diffuser is quite potent, I have mine in the hallway and it is a scent you notice as soon as you enter the house. The body lotion is lightweight on the skin but it is also hydrating without being tacky or greasy when applied.

Finally from the Empowered range, I have the fragranced candle and the soap.
The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME
The Perfume Shop’s new range, ME
Empowered is described as helping you to conquer the day with its revitalising blend of zesty citrus and aromatic notes:

“A citrus aromatic scent with top notes of lime, mandarin, orange and bergamot. Middle notes of basil, lilac, iris and thyme with base notes of Vetiver and amber wood.

This is my favourite scent of the three and there is something unique about it. I love the sharpness of the citrus notes which are not too strong but definitely noticeable against the earthy tones of the basil, Vetiver and to some extent amber wood.

The entire ME range is on sale via The Perfume Shop with prices starting at £5.99 right up to the £14.99 price of the Eau de Parfum.

Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop

If you are still looking for Stocking Fillers but want something that little bit special, The Bodyshop have an amazing array of products that must just tickle your fancy and it is hard to walk past any one of their stores right now without noticing just how festive and colourful it looks, not forgetting that shop aroma which takes me back to my teens when the scent of Dewberry clung to the air as the 'in fragrance' everybody wore.
Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
One of the joys of The Bodyshop is that there is something for everyone all under one roof.  They are perhaps known better for their Body Butters, Shower Gels and scents such as White Musk, Festive Chai Vanilla and British Rose to name just a few.  Alongside those you will find a growing fragrance selection, face-masks which sound good enough to eat, makeup and of course gifts for him.

Today I am sharing some of these sets with you and there is a little mixture of something for the stocking, something for him and something a little bit special. Starting with the House of Holland Limited Edition White Musk® Treats.

Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
For Christmas, this iconic cruelty-free, vegan fragrance that my teen best friend loved, has been given a a makeover by British fashion favourite, House of Holland. It has the zingy notes of citrus, coriander and galbanum essence which are combine with luxurious accord of iris, lily of the valley and jasmine. Inside the box you will find:
  • Limited Edition Body Lotion White Musk® 60ml
  • Limited Edition Shower Gel White Musk® 60ml
  • Bath Lily White
Smells just incredible and so fresh it makes such a lovely stocking filler and it costs just £6.

What did surprise me when I was last in store is just how wide and varied the ranges are, especially for men. One gift that stood out was this Modern Gent's Shaving Kit.
Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
Inside the brightly coloured paper bag is a three step, Maca Root Shaving Kit and if you read my blog regularly, it won't have escaped you that I am married to Beautykinguk and he is known not only for his loved of aftershaves, but also grooming, especially beards.  Worth a huge £31 it actually retails for just £22 and for that you get 200ml tub of Maca Root Shave Cream, a Maca Root Energetic Face Protector and a Maca Root Face wash.  Also inside the bag is an instruction guide as to how best to use each product and in which order to ensure you use them to their absolute potential.

Then finally comes the something a little bit special and a product which really does take me back to my childhood with the Fortune Teller game you would make from paper and apparently it would tell you everything you needed to know.  Well this takes on that vibe for me and it is the Limited Edition House of Holland Lip Cube.
Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
Christmas Treats with The Bodyshop
Again for the Lip Cube, The Body Shop has teamed up with House of Holland to create this exclusive capsule gift collection. Give it some lip with this set of four fruity and nourishing lip butters. The clever packaging doubles as a mini magic cube to play with.
  • Lip Butter Strawberry 10ml
  • Lip Butter Shea 10ml

I love this this is bright, it's colourful, it's fun and it is totally different to any other product I have seen from The Bodyshop and it costs just £18.

L'Occitane Shea Butter Collection

One of my favourite brands - L'Occitane have taken one of their most iconic ingredients and have released a brand new range of products which are literally just incredible. If you have never tried anything from L'Occitane before, then I urge to you give this range a try, it is so so good.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Collection

Within the Shea Butter range there is the brand new Ultra-Light Body Cream and Shea Shower Oil and not wanting a few products to be feeling left out, both the Rich Lotion and Shea Fabulous Oil have been given a bit of a makeover and now have a brand new look.

Starting with the Ultra Light Body Cream which has an incredible light, bouncy texture to it and it is described by L'Occitane as follows:

Shea Ultra Light Body Cream combines the nourishing properties of a balm with the lightness of a mousse to protect and moisturised skin for up to 24 hours. Its light and airy formula, made with 5% shea butter, gently melts into the skin leaving it supple and comfortable.

I adore the texture of this cream, as soon as it comes into contact with my skin, it has disappeared and behind I am left with what can only be described as an incredible scent and amazingly soft to the touch skin.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Collection
I am not usually someone who can be bothered with a body cream, it is a faff, but I am part way through the tub of this one, so it has definitely ticked a box.  Retailing at £32 for 200ml, I am debating stocking up!

For me, L'Occitane shower oils are the best I have tried.  I adore the entire Almond range and have repurchased the shower oil from that range several times over.  The introduction to the Shea Shower Oil and I am not wanting to get out of the shower.  Described as:
Developed with 10% of lipid rich Shea oil, this shower oil gently cleanses the body. Its rich texture leaves a nourishing, protective film, which helps soften even dry skins. It contributes to soothe feelings of tightness, for skin that seems more supple and comfortable. Its gentle fragrance delicately perfumes the skin.
Now as it is an oil it acts like an oily, so you need to take care in the shower. That said, I adore the scent and I adore the feeling on my skin once I leave the shower.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Collection
After using my skin is so sweet-scented and smooth to the touch. I have also used it in the bath for an extra treat and even dry skin on my shins, knees and elbows seems to have been almost eradicated using this. Priced at just £19 for 250ml I have bought a backup.

The Rich Lotion with its brand new look is as the name suggests - a rich lotion. Described as being:
Rich in shea butter (15%) and calendula, this body lotion nourishes and instantly brings comfort to dry skin. It leaves the skin moisturised for up to 48 hours after application. Its fluid formula helps to soothe feelings of skin tightness, offering day after day protection against skin dryness.
For me, this is a treat in a bottle and something to be used when your skin needs some TLC, for a pamper session or just because.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Collection
Luxurious and thick textured you literally need just one or two pumps to cover your arms or legs and when it comes into contact with the skin, it melts and disappears much quicker than I had expected. After using there is no trace it was ever on the skin, but the soft Shea Butter scent does remain. Priced at £23 for 250ml.

The final item in this incredible foursome is the Shea Fabulous Oil and as the name suggests it is both fabulous and an oil. Described as being:
Enriched with lipid-replenishing shea oil (5%), Shea Fabulous Oil is the ideal formula to nourish, soften and protect the skin from dryness. It helps to restore the skin’s hydrolipidic film. With its rich, silky texture and satin-soft finish, it is quickly absorbed and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth, with no greasy after feel. The skin is delicately scented with the iconic Shea fragrance.
What I love about this oil is that it comes in a glass bottle with a spritz, so you don't have to pour it into your hands and then transfer it to your skin, only to find half of it is on the carpet and the other half dribbling everywhere.
L'Occitane Shea Butter Collection
Just spritz onto the skin where you want it the most and then massage into the skin.  As it is an oil, I was surprised to find there is no greasiness left on the skin, it absorbs pretty quickly and leaves no trace behind.  I have used this oil on my body, legs, hands, arms and even on my feet and it is just delightful.  Priced at £26 for 100ml it is stunning.

It is worth noting that L'Occitane use organic Shea Butter within their products and since the 1980's they have worked with women in Burkina Faso to ensure they have the highest quality product (read more about this here). Shea Butter works to replenish, nourish and heal the skin by locking in nutrition and if like me you have dry patches of skin, the use of Shea Butter works incredibly well.

For me, this is another amazing range from L'Occitane and I would love to know if you are as big a fan as I am of the brand?

Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil

You might have seen Ouai on my blog (here and here) before and not be surprised to find that yet again we have another product I love.  Translated to mean Yes, Ouai was created by hairstylist Jen Atkin, the lady who is very much responsible for maintaining the manes of Klan Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Gwen Stefani to name just a few, a range of products has been developed and if it is good enough for them, well it is good enough for me. With shampoos, conditioners which are sulphate-free, they use a smart keratin to repair and improve hair strength. Even the styling products are designed to nourish hair and bring out its natural beauty.
Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil
Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil
Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil is enriched with Absinthium, Shea and rosehip oils which work to nourish and protect your hair, lock in moisture and impart a radiant glow on your skin and hair. Also present is Ouai's signature blend of Rose, Bergamot, Lychee and White Musk which make this one incredible scented product which lingers on both your skin and hair for hours after application.

When I am stressed, my hair is an absolute nightmare, more so because it needs cutting right now and I am at that stage where nothing is going right with it, so I throw it up in a bobble so it is in a ponytail or a top knot – we've all been there! On my hair I use the Ouai Oil whilst my hair was damp before drying and this instantly deals with any frizz I've got going on and gives me smooth locks. If I am straightening my hair using GHD's then I use this after using heat because I do not want to fry my hair.

On the skin, I was pleased to find this was not greasy and slimy. When you hear or see the word 'oil' you instantly think of grease but actually, this isn't greasy in the slightest. I rub some between my palms and pat on to my skin, ideal especially after a hot shower.

This luxurious, rose-gold hair and body oil is a silicone-free fusion of nutrient-rich oils from all over the world. It's also free from parabens, silicone and animal testing. The perfect multi-tasker for the girl on the go - it’s fast-absorbing and illuminates hair and skin as it restores moisture and repairs damage.

Priced at £25 you can find this Hair and Body Oil from Ouai right here at Cult Beauty.

Feather & Down | Sleep Matters

Feather & Down is a brand I absolutely love. There isn't a product I dislike and everything I have tried has lived up to its claims, so who and what they are? In short, Feather & Down are a brand who encourages relaxation and a state of wellbeing in an effort to help aid sleep. To do this they use a specially blended sleep fragrance containing lavender & chamomile essential oils which are known to promote a better night’s sleep. Anything that offers to relax me to the state of unconsciousness is always going to get the thumbs up from me.
Feather & Down | Sleep Matters
The kind people over at Feather & Down sent me an amazing package of products which I have been using for the last few months and have in that time stocked up on two of the products I have tried, that is how impressed I am.

Melting Shower Cream - Cleanse your skin, clear your mind, and let daytime stress wash away says the blurb for the Shower Cream. When used the Shower Cream melts into a really lovely calming oil and as it is massaged into your skin, it not only leaves it feeling beautifully soft and deeply nourished but the scent of Lavender is just divine.
Feather & Down | Sleep Matters
Did you know that taking a quick shower before bed helps to prepare you for sleep. It is said that the feeling of warm running water on your skin relaxes your body and eases tension after a long day. This Shower Cream retails at £6 for 250ml here.

Soothing Body Oil - A massage of the skin really does help to de-stress and relax and this body oil is incredibly soothing as well as moisturising for the skin. Used just before bed time, the scent of Lavender with Jojoba Oil helps to wind down and relax in preparation for sleep.
Feather & Down | Sleep Matters
To use the oil, you spray it onto the skin and gently massage in, even better if you can get your better half to do the massaging. Priced at £8 for a 125ml bottle which is available from Boots here.

All Purpose Sleep Balm - This balm contains both Lavender and Chamomile essential oils which are blended with nourishing Vitamin E. Designed to be used on your pulse points to help ease your mind and encourage a restful nights sleep.
Feather & Down | Sleep Matters
Placing fragrance onto your pulse points (wrists, temples, and neck) makes it last longer due to the beat of your heart. I find that this is one relaxing balm and it is one that you can used during heightened periods of stress as well as helping to calm and aid sleep. This tub is priced at £7 and is again available in Boots here.

Pillow Spray - I am a huge fan of pillow sprays and do find that they help relax, calm and aide sleep. This spray is an infusion of Lavender and Chamomile essential oils which help reduce an anxious mind and encourage calm to aid a restful night’s sleep.
Feather & Down | Sleep Matters
To use all you need to do is spray a generous amount onto your pillow and around your bedroom to help relax you as you drift into a peaceful night's sleep, I use mine approximately 30 minutes before I am about to attempt sleep, meaning no more reading, no TV watching and no scrolling through social media. Priced at £7 for 100ml here it is definitely worth buying.

Calming Candle - I think it is now common knowledge that I am obsessed with candles and have quite a growing collection. For me, a candle creates a relaxing atmosphere and even the flicker of the wick is instantly calming. With this candle from Feather & Down, as soon as the candle starts to burn essential oils are released and calming fragrance fills the house with an incredible scent.
Feather & Down | Sleep Matters
Priced at £18 here, you only need to burn this candle for a few hours at any time to ensure you get the full benefits of its calming and relaxing scent.

Having really enjoyed using these products from Feather and Down, I have not only bought and used the Bath Essence which again uses the essential oils of both Lavender and Chamomile to create a bath full of calming bubbles, I have also purchased the Bath Essence and Sleep Salts which I am looking forward to trying and again every products from the range is available from Boots.
Have you tried anything from Feather & Down?

Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub

Frank Body is one of the first brands I came across when my love of coffee scrubs started to grow. A company which started back in 2013 has grown considerably and with a range of products now boasting everything for the body, face and
Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub
Coconut coffee scrub which smells insanely good offers to Turn your shower into a nudie beach with with this nut-free, natural and smells just like a beach holiday scrub which admittedly comes minus the sand in your pants. Packed in a brown bag, this scrub is insane for removing dead and dry skin. The instructions ask that you use two handfuls, but I have only ever used one per session. Now it is messy but if you prepare beforehand it is much easier.
Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub
As it is designed to scrub the skin, I find it works better if the skin is wet before application, so whether you want to hop in and out of the shower, turn your water on or off or not is entirely down to you. I grab my handful of scrub and place it into an old Lush tub and then add a few drops of water to make it into a paste. Then once in the shower, depending on how my skin is, I either apply the scrub to the parts which need it the most, or I cover my entire body with said scrub.

As a coffee scrub this naturally smells like freshly brewed coffee with a hint of coconut plus there is some grape seed oil and Vitamin E. Priced at £13.95 for a 200g bag, this scrub is worth every last penny.

If a coffee scrub isn't exciting enough then I have been using three other products from the Frank Body range and they are a lip scrub, a body lotion and a creamy face scrub - I am literally almost like a walking talking cup of your finest Americano!

The Creamy face scrub is incredible and it takes the amazing body scrub and gives it a slight twist to create a face scrub. With this scrub you take a small blob and apply it to your face, again, I prefer a slightly damp face so the scrub has something to stick too. Then as you apply it, ensure that you massage in circular motions to help aid the removal of dirt, grime, dead and dry skin.
Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub
Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub
However, before washing it off, the advice is to leave it on your skin for three further minutes and then rinse. The scrub is quite gritty and it uses a combination of amazing ingredients such as White clay which has a long history of detoxifying and removing dead skin cells. Rosehip Oil which brightens dull skin and smoothes over your battle scars. There is also coconut, grapeseed and sweet almond oils which moisturise and hydrate the skin plus Vitamins A, E and D hydrate your skin without blocking pores.  This scrub is priced at £15.95.

The Body Cream promises you'll be the icing on the cake and given how lovely, thick and luxurious the cream is, it is hard to not want to smother yourself in it.
Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub
Frank Body | The Original Coffee Scrub
A delicious blend of Shea and Cocoa Butters which are intensely hydrating alongside coffee seed extract which helps to firm and tone, Pomegranate which feeds your skin to make it stronger & healthier, Green Tea which helps flush out toxins from the skin, helps heal blemishes and soothes the complexion.  If you have ever been a fan of Palmers Cocoa Butter from a tub, then this is a slightly smoother version and it leaves your skin feeling just absolutely incredible.  This cream is priced at £17.95.

Finally the lip duo which consists of a scrub and a balm are design to tackle dry, flaky lips and leave behind smooth soft ones in it place.

Using a combination of Coffee, coconut, macadamia and grapeseed oils alongside ethically sourced beeswax and raw sugar you get two products which work so incredibly well together and not only does the scrub effectively remove any dry skin, it doesn't scratch and is not overly abrasive.  I tend to use my scrub twice a week to ensure that my lips are not dry, chapped or have any dead skin hanging around and I am a lip balm addict in any case, so it is never without question that I use a lot of it.  This little duo is priced at £12.95.

I have found Frank Body products to be an absolute delight to use and if you love the scent of coffee then this is a match made in heaven for you.  You can find all of these products online via sites such as ASOS.
