Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box

It is well documented on my blog and across my instagram stories that sleep is more often than not an enemy and it fights me, I try all kinds of lotions, potions and witchcraft measures to try and ensure that once I do get to sleep, I stay asleep and it comes with some success and vice versa. With that in mind, let me introduce to an incredible beauty box called Sleep, Dream Doze, a luxury sleep subscription box which I have been very lucky to have been sent.
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
I feature a lot of beauty boxes on my blog, I am a huge fan, from them I have been lucky enough to come across some amazing brands that might have never grabbed my attention.  Sleep, Dream Doze, which is co-founded by Aly Johnson and Clare Taylor who, in their own words explain the need for this box:
After 5 years and 5 children between us, we weren’t just sleepy-tired, we were exhausted - emotionally, physically, mentally. The crux of our problem? A lack of self care. Like so many before us, we were guilty of prioritising everyone else's needs ahead of our own - family, friends, work, clients, hell, even the dog!We were so focused on keeping everything (and everyone) together and running smoothly, that we let ourselves fall apart.
We needed sleep and for someone else to take care of taking care of us. And knowing that we weren't alone in this, we created Sleep Dream Doze - the luxury sleep-focused subscription box.
So, as you can see, this is a box which has really had some thought put in to how it fits into a theme with a lot of personality and I feel so lucky and honoured to be able to share this journey.  Each box, comes really well packaged and everything is just so beautifully presented.

Inside my box was the following:Up first we have The Magic of Sleep: A Bedside Companion by Michael Acton Smith and it is described as being the "ultimate handbook for healthy sleeping." Michael Acton Smith, OBE, is the co-founder of the hugely successful Calm app, which sounds like the app I need to be downloading.
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
The book is absolutely stunning from cover to cover, with fascinating facts, life-changing tips and is said to be your solution to a better sleeping life, improving each of your waking hours.

The second product hiding inside this box comes from Perfect Chaos with their Lavender, Rosewood and Jasmine Himalayan Bath Salts (300g).
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
Described as being Reminiscent of a walk through the English countryside, these bath salts bring together a blend of Lavender, Rosewood and Jasmine which work together to promote calm, relieve stress, and aid sleep. Made with Himalayan salts and 100% essential oils to help relax muscles and aid restful sleep.

The third product comes from Booming Bob with the Stress Relief & Balancing Facial Oil (30ml).
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
This balancing facial oil is packed with a range of essential fatty acids - Omega 3,6 and 9 alongside vitamins A, B, D and E.  Added to that is the inclusion of carefully chosen natural oils such as olive oil, jojoba oil, argan oil and Shea butter. Then alongside evening primrose oil and rose geranium oil have been added to soothe the skin and reduce redness.  On the skin, this is a non-oily oil and it absorbs so quickly, leaving no trace behind.

The fourth product is from TenT Nutrition with their Natural Sleep Supplement. Described has been specifically designed using ingredients built to ensure you have a restful and regenerative sleep .
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
A blend of calming amino acids and essential minerals to help you enjoy deeper, more regenerative sleep. This is an all-natural and vegan-friendly.  I am yet to give these a try, but there has been a lot of rave reviews about how good they are.

Then finally, we have the HOLM (House of Lady Muck) Enough Of Your Cheek Candle and it genuinely just incredible.
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
Sleep, Dream, Doze - Luxury Sleep Subscription Box
This amazing hand poured Vegan candle, which as you can see, lives up to its name with its cheeky shape. It is an unscented decor candle which has been made from natural white soy wax with an organic cotton wick and because it is hand poured each one will have its own unique markings.

As mentioned, Sleep, Dream, Doze is a luxury sleep subscription box which has three different offerings of how to subscribe:
  • Crescent - A rolling monthly subscription which is priced at £49 per month
  • Half Moon - A 3 month subscription which is priced at £45 per month
  • Full Moon - A 6 month subscription which is priced at £40 per month
As a first box, this has really impressed me and I absolutely love this box and I adore the contents that feature is inside.  You can find out more about this box right here, get some hints and tips on how to indulge in self care, why journaling is good and why everyone needs to sleep on silk!

L’Occitane Delicate Shea Collection

Without question, The Almond Collection is my favourite from L'Occitane but running a close second second is Shea butter collection, especially the Comforting Oil, but new to the line-up comes the Delicate Shea Collection and essentially wow!
L’Occitane Delicate Shea Collection
If you are new to L'Occitane as a brand, Shea is one of its most revered ingredients and it is purchased directly from women’s cooperatives in Burkina Faso and Ghana, improving the lives and working conditions of the shea butter producers, helping them to achieve financial independence and security.

The Delicate Shea collection is described as being a feminine, floral twist on the classic shea butter collection and it features a Nail & Cuticle Oil, Lip Balm, Hand Cream and Ultra Light Cream. I have two products which I have been using to share today and I have just loved both of them.

The first product is the Delicate Shea Lip Balm (£9) and I am a huge lip balm fiend, I go through tubes of them because I have really dry lips, so oils, balms and serums are very much my friend.
L’Occitane Delicate Shea Collection
L’Occitane Delicate Shea Collection
This lip balm, in its beautifully pink tube has a delicate floral scent to it. On the lips, this balm, which is more like a serum is enriched with 5% Shea Butter which works to nourish, smooth and condition the lips and as it does so, the scent of rose, violet and musk is there in the background and on a first whiff, it reminds me of palma violets and is just beautiful.

The second product, nestled in the most beautiful of tins, is the Ultra Light Cream (£22/125ml) and it is every bit as stunning as you can imagine it to be given its name.
L’Occitane Delicate Shea Collection
The Light Cream is said to combine the nourishing properties of a balm but the texture, which I have shared on my Instagram stories, is incredibly light and almost like a mousse and I absolutely love how it feels on the skin.  Whipped and airy, it melts onto the skin almost as soon as it comes into contact with your skin and as it melts, it leaves that same delicate floral scent that the lip balm has, although it much more noticeable in this texture than the lip balm.

This collection is on sale right now and if you are a fan of Shea Butter and have tried the original collection, then this is definitely one you also need to try.

Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad

Having already introduced the Banobagi cleansing gel to foam just a few weeks ago on my blog, today I am sharing the second of three products, the Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad which promise to maintain healthy glowing skin without irritation.
Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad
As a brand, Banobagi believe that dermatologist grade cosmetics should be accessible to everyone, so many of their products which they use as part skincare treatments at their clinics became commercially available for use at home.  This particular collection of products has been designed for those with oily but dry skin - which is mine.

The Moisture Pad is essentially a pack of 60 hydrating toner pads which are packaged inside the most beautiful pink tub. Each pad has been designed to give your skin a hit of instant hydration whilst at the same time, removing those dead and dry skin cells all in one go and to do that, it has a pretty impressive list of ingredients.

Key Ingredients:

  • 10 types of hyaluronic acid which works to replenish and retain moisture to give hydrated, plump skin
  • Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) which removes dead skin cells as well as to clear clogged pores
  • Lotus extract and Centella extract which soothes and moisturises the skin
  • Red Snow Complex which has both an antioxidant effect and anti-pollution effect to create youthful and healthy skin
  • Blue Complex which comes from flowers and it also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic effects
These toner pads, which are made from 100% cotton, have both an embossed and smooth side, work together in a two-step process.
Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad
Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad
Step one, when using the embossed side, helps to remove those dead and dry skin cells and then Step two, which is the smooth side and it moisturises the side. Each one of these pads is saturated with 2ml of liquid and they have not caused any irritation or flare ups with my skin. In fact quite the opposite, I have found they leave my skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch, particularly around my cheeks where I do suffer with dry skin.

These pads are priced around £23 for a tub of 60 and they are great for using before applying your makeup, or if you are in a rush in a morning!

LAURA MERCIER PURE CANVAS PERFECTING PRIMER

If there is one brand a lot of my blogger friends rave about, it's Laura Mercier and for me, other than the Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser, it isn't a brand I have really delved into, but I have been using the Pure Canvas Perfecting Primer.
LAURA MERCIER PURE CANVAS PERFECTING PRIMER
For as long as I can remember, I have used a primer and I have used a lot of different branded ones over the years, some with silicone, some without and the reason I use them is because of having oily combination skin, I get a mid-afternoon shine, so I need as much help as I can with keeping my face together - so to speak. So for me a Primer is an absolute must.

The Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Perfecting Primer is the described as being the brand’s original flawless-skin formula which is designed to keep makeup in place for longer with a smoother, seamless finish.
LAURA MERCIER PURE CANVAS PERFECTING PRIMER
LAURA MERCIER PURE CANVAS PERFECTING PRIMER
This is a water based primer which has been formulated without silicone and on the skin it is incredibly lightweight, which I absolutely love. It is also enriched with antioxidant rich Green Tea Extract as well as Vitamin C and it is said that over time your complexion will be treated to a more youthful looking glow with a brighter, more even tone.  Leaving behind no greasy residue, it absorbs quickly rather than sits on the skin and is something you can use even if you choose not to wear makeup.

Despite every review I have read saying I should use the Pure Canvas Blurring Primer which is said to be best for my skin type, I actually really like this primer and is one I would would purchase again, even priced around £34 for 50ml, because you need just a small pea sized amount, the tube lasts for a long time.

Neom Mood Boost Bundle

One of the best bargains I have ever managed to get my hands on is this Neom Mood Boost Bundle, which at the time of purchase cost £45 via Lookfantastic at the beginning of January.
Neom Mood Boost Bundle
The bundle, as you can see feature the Neom Mini Well-being Pod Diffuser, the happiness essential oil blend and Happiness Scented Travel Candle 75g.

I am a big fan of my essential oils and have shared many a blog post on what I use, why I use it, what I feel those oils do for and of course how I use the oils. Essential oils come in many forms - usually as near blends which you then diffuse, within a bath oil, in candles and also in beauty products too. How you choose to use them and for what purpose is quite the journey.
Starring the Mini Wellbeing Pod Diffuser, a 100% natural essential oil blend and mini scented candle, the NEOM Mood Boost Bundle welcomes a refreshing and uplifting aroma to any space in your home.
I picked this bundle up, not only because it was incredible value for money, but because it now sits on my desk at work. I have two oil diffusers at home - one in the bedroom and one in the lounge, neither of which are suitable for the office, but this one works so incredibly well.

The Wellbeing Pod Mini Essential Oil Diffuser – which is available in either Pink or Black, mine is Black, is described as being ideal for smaller spaces such as the bathroom on or even your car. It is powered by either battery or USB charge and it is not much bigger than a tin of Heinz Beans!
Neom Mood Boost Bundle
Neom Mood Boost Bundle
The pod mini uses what is cold ‘cold diffusion technology’ which means your chosen essential oil or oils are converted from being that oil into micro fine vapour without using heat or water and it is released into the atmosphere to stimulate your senses and boost your wellbeing. There is three different settings to adjust the intensity of your vapour and a timer which can be set for 30 minutes to two hours for intermittent fragrance.

There is a who collection of oils to choose from, which of course only Neom ones are recommended for use with this Pod Mini. So you have the choice of:
  • Scent to Sleep
  • Scent to make you happy
  • Scent to de-stress
  • Scent to boost your energy
  • Scent to calm and relax
Each one of these blends has specially selected oils to fulfil a purpose. With my bundle, I have the Happiness Essential Oil Blend.

I love that you can choose an oil to suit your mood, in this case, the Happiness Essential Oil Blend 10ml, is a100% natural essential oil blending 7 uplifting notes which includes the likes of orange blossom, neroli, lemon, mimosa and mandarin. All of which have properties to help to enhance the mood, uplift, de-stress and even deal with nervous tension. Leon is also said to help clear the air of toxins that surround us.
Neom Mood Boost Bundle
As well as being used with your Wellbeing Pod, this oil can also be added to your bath or used as a massage oil, so definitely worth finding the perfect blend for you.

The final part of this bundle is the Happiness Scented Travel Candle 75g.

This candle is blended using 100% natural fragrances and it features NEOM’s Happiness fragrance which as with the oil above blends seven essential oils including white neroli, mimosa and lemon and the throw of the scent, even before this candle is lit is incredible.
Neom Mood Boost Bundle
Hand poured using natural wax, this candle has a burn time of around 20 hours and when using, the advice is to use a breathing exercise which I find really helpful. The idea is that as you inhale the relaxing fragrance, practice mindful breathing techniques…breathe in through your nose for 7 seconds and out through your mouth slowly for 11 seconds. I always assumed this technique was for use with oils to help with relaxation and nervous tension, which of course it does, but it also helps with other scents too.

I was lucky to grab this bundle from Lookfantastic back at the beginning of January for just £45 and it is worth keeping an eye out for these offers. Right now the offer is £55 for the same Pod Mini and an Oil which is a saving of £15, so still a bargain to be had.

Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum

Fenty Beauty as a brand is one I am really not familiar with, or wasn't until I was kindly sent some products to try a few months ago.  I remember when Fenty first arrived in the UK and it really blew up, everyone raved about how amazing the highlighters are and then the Gloss Bomb, the product I am sharing today is one I have seen shared everywhere and raved about, but until recently I hadn't tried and that is Fat Water.
Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum
So the name is one which will raise eyebrows, but the Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum isn't some kind of derogatory comment, in fact it is described as being a 2-in-1 toner-serum combo that targets pores, improves the look of dark spots, brightens, smooths, and fights shine—all without stripping skin.
What do you get when you combine the benefits of toner and serum in one? This universal game-changer snatches pores and dark spots and has a unique thick texture we bet you haven’t felt before – it’s Rihanna’s favourite step in her routine for a reason.
I do love using both a toner and a serum within my skincare routine but this is the first time I have used a 2-in-1 version and it has this really unique thick texture, which when it is squeezed out of the tube looks just like water, only fatter - hence the name! Now this product, which is like neither a toner or a serum, doesn't sit on the surface of the skin which I wasn't expecting at all, instead it absorbs much quicker and is just delightful to use.
Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum
Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum
Packed full of amazing ingredients, which are chosen for a whole host of different reasons and they include:
  • Niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B3): Helps reduce the look of dark spots, even skin tone, and fight excess shine
  • Barbados cherry (acerola): Every cherry is loaded with more vitamin C than an orange to help brighten
  • Australian lemon myrtle & witch hazel water: Help reduce oil and refine pores
  • Japanese raisin tree: It’s been used for over 1,000 years in Asia as a recovery treatment from long nights of partying; helps detoxify
  • Cactus flower: Thrives in the desert; helps hydrate
  • Green tea & fig: Rich in antioxidants to help defend against environmental stressors
To use, the instructions are to simply squeeze a pea-sized amount in your palms, then rub your hands together and pat it into your skin rather than rub and simply let it do its thing. On the skin, I had expected this to be slightly tacky, but it isn't at all, it just leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturised. There is a really light scent to this toner serum when using, it is almost like a bowl of cherries but because of the inclusion of figs, there is a earthiness to the scent too.   I also really like the thin streamlined bottle with its twisting cap means you can control how much you need to squeeze into the palms of your hands and both parts of the bottle are fully recyclable and because you are using your hands, you don't need to have or use cotton pads!

I am really impressed with the Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, it was the first product I used from the brand and whilst I am currently using a few other products to share in a few weeks time, for me, this was a really good place to start.

This is a 100ml bottle and it is priced around £27 in places such as Boots, Harvey Nichols and of course the Fenty Beauty site.

Pixi +Rose Infused Skintreats

Famous for their Glow Tonic, Pixi Beauty is a brand I adore, from its skincare right through to its makeup line, the products are as divine as the store here in London, and I am yet to be unimpressed by a product!
Pixi Rose Infused Skintreats
The Pixi Rose Infused Skintreats Line, features an incredible selection of products, some of which I was first introduced to back in 2017 and as a collection it has grown ever since.  As today is Valentines Day  little package couldn't have arrived at a better time, its Valentines Day, most people associate Roses with February 14th and for Pixi, they have an amazing collection of products which I am sharing on my blog today.

As you can see, I was kindly sent four products, all of which create a little routine together or as part of your existing one, slotting in without much effort.   Starting with the product that quite probably stands out to you as much as it did to me  - The +Rose Essence Oil (£24).

Suitable for all skin types, this tri-phase oil, is a lightweight fast absorbing oil which is designed to prep the skincare before makeup application but can also be used in times of need for extra hydration. To use it, you have to give it a rigorous shake to combine all the ingredients together and mixed in there you will find:
  • Rose Flower Oil which nourishes & rejuvenates
  • Rose Water which balances pH & is Antioxidant-rich
  • Ceramide NP which provides time-release moisture
What I really like about this Essence Oil, other than shaking it to create a lovely fuschia pink oil, is how non-greasy it feels on the skin. My skin is incredibly dry in parts and im loving using oils more than usual right to now to soothe and smooth.

The next product is the +Rose Glow-y Powder (£14) and it is every bit as stunning as it looks to be.

I have a bit of redness on my cheeks, so im not much of a blusher girl, more a bronzer, but this is something else because you can choose to also use it as a highlighter and that is exactly what I have been doing, the swatch showing you just how stunning it is. Described as being a natural mineral powder contains ceramides to give time-release moisture to skin while creating a luminous finish, it does, as you come to expect with Pixi contain some amazing ingredients:
  • Rose Extract to soothe and hydrate
  • Ferulic Acid which provides an antioxidant boost
  • Jojoba which nourishes and moisturises
This powder if really pigmented and you need such a small amount to really get that glow and it is suitable for all skin types.

The next product is one I have absolutely adored using. The +Rose Radiance Perfector (£14) is the product you need when you think your skin is having a 'meh' day because it makes you look amazing.

Described as being a delicately tinted, Rose-infused complexion enhancer, it not only gives your skin a healthy, radiant looking glow (without turning you into a disco ball) it also does a pretty good job at blurring some imperfections as it brightens and corrects. Again, packed with amazing ingredients, you will find:
  • Rose Water which works to balance pH and gives an Antioxidant boost
  • Ceramide NP which provides time-release moisture
  • Hyaluronic Acid for its ability to hydrate the skin
This Radiance perfector can me used in a few different ways. One is to apply it to the collarbones, cupids bow, brow bone and the cheeks to enhance your features, you can also use it all over your skin and this is what I do, but mix it with my moisturising cream and on no makeup days, this is my current go to.

The final product in this little quarter is the +Rose Lip Nourisher (£10) which is described as being a rose-infused lip balm to smooth with a hint of tint and shine.
Pixi +Rose Infused Skintreats
Pixi has some of the most wonderful lip products, many of which I have shared on my blog and this Lip Nourisher is one of them. If your lips suffer from being dry, despite drinking lots of water and using hydrating products, then this is a wonderful addition to try because as well as imparting the slightest shade of pink to the lips, it is, as you have probably guessed, full of amazing ingredients:
  • Rosehip Oil which helps to soothe and condition
  • Jojoba Seed Oil which softens and smooths
  • Vitamin E to nourish and protect
It is a product which can be used on its own, or you could choose to apply it underneath your lipstick as a bit of a base, either option works really well.

So, Pixi once again create an incredible range of products with this +Rose collection and they are all available online right now.
