Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad

Having already introduced the Banobagi cleansing gel to foam just a few weeks ago on my blog, today I am sharing the second of three products, the Banobagi Calming Care Moisture Pad which promise to maintain healthy glowing skin without irritation.

As a brand, Banobagi believe that dermatologist grade cosmetics should be accessible to everyone, so many of their products which they use as part skincare treatments at their clinics became commercially available for use at home.  This particular collection of products has been designed for those with oily but dry skin - which is mine.

The Moisture Pad is essentially a pack of 60 hydrating toner pads which are packaged inside the most beautiful pink tub. Each pad has been designed to give your skin a hit of instant hydration whilst at the same time, removing those dead and dry skin cells all in one go and to do that, it has a pretty impressive list of ingredients.

Key Ingredients:

  • 10 types of hyaluronic acid which works to replenish and retain moisture to give hydrated, plump skin
  • Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) which removes dead skin cells as well as to clear clogged pores
  • Lotus extract and Centella extract which soothes and moisturises the skin
  • Red Snow Complex which has both an antioxidant effect and anti-pollution effect to create youthful and healthy skin
  • Blue Complex which comes from flowers and it also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic effects
These toner pads, which are made from 100% cotton, have both an embossed and smooth side, work together in a two-step process.

Step one, when using the embossed side, helps to remove those dead and dry skin cells and then Step two, which is the smooth side and it moisturises the side. Each one of these pads is saturated with 2ml of liquid and they have not caused any irritation or flare ups with my skin. In fact quite the opposite, I have found they leave my skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch, particularly around my cheeks where I do suffer with dry skin.

These pads are priced around £23 for a tub of 60 and they are great for using before applying your makeup, or if you are in a rush in a morning!
