Forage Botanicals Moon Time Belly Balm

Periods are still one of those taboo subjects that people are seemingly embarrassed to talk about, something we shy away from, yet they’re a big part of your life. I’ve had painful periods for as long as I can remember, the cramps usually starting a few days before my period is due, despite every possible issue being ruled out. I’ve tried all kinds of treatments, been on and off the pill in its various forms and whilst there is a few painkillers which dull the aches, nothing soothes and comforts.
Forage Botanicals Moon Time Belly Balm
I was kindly sent the Forage Botanicals Moon Time Belly Balm, a product which should be used during menstruation and it definitely grabbed my attention.
Forage Botanicals offers a range of natural answers for common period problems like pain and PMS. Hand-blended in small batches using traditional methods inspired by British botanicals. We have delicious and nutritious answers to life’s menstruation-related discomforts.
Founded by Natasha Richardson, a medical herbalist who is passionate about women’s empowerment. She founded the brand and it’s products after living with and having suffered for years with severe period pain that wasn’t being caused by an illness but still seriously interfered with her life. Like many, she was ignored by the medical profession as there was nothing they could offer other than pain killers, a journey I have also been on and she instead went on a huge journey to find what worked for her whilst on her degree to become a herbalist and the products at Forage Botanicals are her answer to all that.

This new balm is a natural, plant based product which is designed to be applied directly to the tummy, back or thighs, depending on where you feel you need it whilst you're in the throws of cramps. The balm has a luxurious feel to it without being oily and greasy and is easily applied to the skin.

The balm is packed full of incredible ingredients and uses the relaxing essential oils of both mint and marjoram alongside shea butter and coconut oil which is what gives the balm a velvety texture that glides on the skin.

The advice when you have used the balm is to hold a hot water bottle where you have applied it because it then encourages absorption and helps relieve muscle tension. For me, having used this balm for over 3 months now, it does help to dull those menstrual cramps so that they are manageable and don’t leave me doubled over in pain, which is better than any painkiller that I’ve tried has managed to achieve!

The Forage Botanicals Moon Time Belly Balm is priced at just £3.50 for a small 7g trial size and then the jar I have, which is 32g is just £17.99 and you can find them both right here.

Turning Fashion Blogging Into A Money-making Career

If you have started a blog then there is a good chance that, like most, you started it because you have a genuine interest in what you’re writing and you want to cover it. Over time, you build a community and a commitment that makes you want to keep going, but you also want to make sure that your time is worth it. To that end, how do you make money from a beauty or fashion blog?

Placing ads on the site

There are advertisement networks that you can connect your website to in order to generate revenue. Perhaps the most famous of these networks is Google AdSense, which lets you display ads with very little effort. In general, however, ads are becoming less and less popular in the online space, with more and more people using ad-blocking apps to make sure that they never see them in the first place so, if you do want to use ads, try to be subtle and considerate in how you place them.

Becoming an affiliate

Perhaps the most widely available option for most bloggers is to go the way of affiliate marketing. Before you start blogging, it’s important to know what kind of posts you’re okay with doing and what kinds of products and news you want to cover. When choosing affiliates, who will ask you to include links or products in your posts, you want to make sure that you’re choosing the kind of brands and products that you would cover anyway so that you find it easier to write about them and the subject matter isn’t jarring to your audience.

The path of the influencer

Nowadays, most people in the fashion and beauty space are aiming to become influencers. Influencers typically have a closer relationship with the brands they cover than affiliates, becoming publicly tied with the brand and often being shown wearing it. Getting ties with the high-end brands, like Rolex brand ambassadors, can be very difficult indeed since these brands are so well known they’re more likely to go for celebrity roles. However, there are a lot of up and coming fashion and beauty brands that may be better suited to developing relationships with fresher faces, too.

Sell your expertise

If you manage to make a name for yourself in the fashion and beauty world as having a good sense of style, then you might be able to sell that expertise. For instance, you might be able to teach your readers more about your niche through online classes, seminars, or even one-on-one sessions. It might not even be selling your fashion expertise, you might also want to look at the potential of selling photography tips or blog design lessons, using the skills that you used to build the blog in the first place.

It’s not easy to make money from fashion or beauty blogging, nor is it a path that is necessarily going to work for everyone. With the tips above, however, you might be able to find the path that works for you.

Accessorise Like a Pro: What To Consider When Choosing Accessories

Accessories can be the perfect way to take your outfit from drab to fab. However, if you're looking for a new scarf, belt, or handbag, you must know what to look for so that you don't end up spending money on something you'll never use. This blog post will discuss how to accessorise like a pro and give tips on what to consider before purchasing an accessory.

Wear Less Than 3 Accessories for Each Outfit
The accessories you wear can make or break an outfit, and choosing the right ones is a big part of that. That's why it's essential to get in the habit of wearing less than three pieces for each look. This way, you can keep the focus on your outfit and make it shine while still being able to mix up your looks in a fun, creative way. On the other hand, wearing more than three accessories at a time can make you look disorganised and fussy.

When deciding which accessories to wear, take into consideration where they go with the outfit. Choosing complementary colours will help your look pop, while contrasting colours will give it a more edgy feel.

If you're feeling self-conscious about wearing less than three pieces of jewellery at once, start with just one necklace and move on from there! That way, you can figure out what your favourite combos are before adding in the other two accessories.

Also, caring for your jewellery is a must if you want to pair different pieces for various occasions and looks.

Use a Matching Set of Jewelry Only if They Are Small
The rule of thumb when mixing and matching your jewellery is to keep it small. It's all too easy to get overwhelmed by a pile of mismatched earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings, but there are some simple steps you can take to create an elegant look with any accessory set.

First, choose one large piece like a necklace or bracelet to anchor your look. The rest of the pieces should match in size and style to work together without competing for attention.

Similarly, if you're wearing multiple rings on different fingers, make sure that each ring matches the overall design but is unique. This is perfect for people with an outfit with several colours or patterns and can create the illusion of more pieces on their body than just one necklace.

Your Handbag Shouldn’t Be the Same Color As Your Shoes
Accessories are a great way to dress up your outfit, but you shouldn't have your handbag be the same colour as your shoes. You want to broaden the spectrum of colours that you're wearing, so it doesn't look like you just threw on any old thing in your closet. While this might sound tedious and not worth all the work, it can make your ensemble more complete.

Be sure to consider the colours of other items in your look when you are deciding on which accessories to wear. A little bit of colour coordination goes a long way!

Conclusion
The way you dress reflects who you are and how confident in your style and personality you feel. Of course, it’s important to go with your gut when choosing accessories, but this article might be a good read for you if you’re unsure of where to start.

Colourpop Mystery Boxes Launched

I absolutely love Colourpop as a brand, their prices are just insane for the quality of the products and now because they add your tax at the checkout, there are no surprise fees to pay when your package arrives!  Launching today with Colourpop is three mystery boxes, all of which sound just absolutely amazing!
Colourpop Mystery Boxes Launched
The three mystery boxes are priced in different tiers, so depending on how much you spend will depend on the contents of your box and the total it is actually worth. Mystery boxes are something I find really exciting, Charlotte Tilbury does some of the best boxes we can get hold of here in the U.K. and I’ve got no doubt Colourpop are about to absolutely own it with theirs.

The first box is priced at just $29 which is around £21. Called them secret Stash box, the contents are said to be worth $62 which is roughly $44. It can be found here.

The second box is priced at $49 which is around £35 and it is called the CP Confidential Box and it’s contents are said to be worth $102 which is roughly £75. This box can be found here.

The third and final box is priced at $89 which works out to be around £64 and it is called the Mega Mystery Box and the contents are worth $202 which is a huge £145. This box can be found right here.

For any fan of the brand there is no doubt these boxes are absolutely worth getting your hands on and equally if you have been wanting to give Colourpop a try and don’t know what products you want, this is a fantastic want to do just that!

All three of these boxes are available and you can find them right here!
