REN Skincare Clearcalm Clarifying Clay Cleanser

I adore Ren skincare as a brand and I am really enjoying watching their journey to becoming zero waste by 2021 and as they do so, products are being repackaged and reintroduced. Today sees the turn of the ClearCalm Clarifying Clay Cleanser which I have been using for the past few weeks now and I absolutely love it, as with the rest of the range.
REN Skincare Clearcalm Clarifying Clay Cleanser
Described as being the spot-fighting, purifying clay cleanser, suitable for every skin type, this cleanser which has been repackaged and is now in what is called post-consumer recycled packaging.

The cleanser itself has been formulated to be non-drying as it fights blemishes without leaving redness or being harsh on the skin, so it is therefore ideal for those with sensitive skin. As always with Ren, there is a host of amazing ingredients:
  • Kaolin Clay - This forms the base of the cleanser.  Its job is to draw out impurities as well as excess oil,
  • Willow Bark Extract - This helps to minimise pore appearance whilst at the same time removing dirt build up and other pollutions which cause blemishes on the skin
  • Mayblossom Extract - This is used because it helps to keep the skin clear
On the skin, being non-foaming, what I absolutely adore about this cleanser is how it feels on my skin when I am using it and afterwards being silky soft and smooth.

Maskne is an issue that is popping up more and more as an issue for many with having to wear facemasks and moving form hot and cold temperatures, as well as constantly breathing on your own skin, this cleanser, due to its ingredients would work as a preventative solution to reducing breakouts and luckily, whilst I haven't suffered from Maskne, I would guess it is down to using products such as this.

This REN Skincare Clearcalm Clarifying Clay Cleanser, is on sale now for £24 via REN* and other stockists such as Lookfantastic*.

SUPERDRUG X NADINE BAGGOTT THE COMPLETE SKINCARE EDIT

Another Beauty Box which has just launched with Superdrug, though the details have been known for some time now is the Superdrug x Nadine Baggott The Complete Skincare Edit and priced at just £25 it is an absolute bargain.
SUPERDRUG X NADINE BAGGOTT THE COMPLETE SKINCARE EDITNadine Baggott, if you haven't come across her before (I can't believe you haven't) is a fountain of knowledge. She has been a Health & Beauty Journalist and TV presenter for 30 years and has an amazing YouTube Channel which she likes to refer to as Beauty Grown Ups and on there you get a real insight into the world of beauty without the bullish tone and attitudes. Introducing the box, Nadine says
"Welcome to my Superdrug Beauty Box! I have selected this edit of my favourite Superdrug products because they work, are skincare staples and packed with active ingredients that will benefit all skin types, concerns and skin ages to form the perfect skincare routine. ENJOY!"
Inside as you can see is a real mixture of products, which if bought separately would cost over £40, so this is quite the saving for anyone wanting to update their skincare routine.

Contents
  • Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser 200ml: This gets rid of every scrap of makeup, SPF and even stubborn mascara and liner in one gentle cleanse.
  • Studio London Microfibre Face Cloths: These brilliant microfibre cloths supercharge any cleanser, can even be used just with water to remove makeup, and are the best way to gently, daily exfoliate whilst you deep clean without ever stripping your skin.
  • B. Multi Acid Retexturising Pads 60 pads: These work quickly and effectively, give your skin the right amount of glycolic acid and are balanced with hydrating and soothing aloe to resurface, smooth & refine.
  • Me+ Niacinamide Booster 30ml: Vitamin B3 Niacinamide soothes, calms and boosts your skin’s barrier function and can buffer out the effects of irritating acids and retinols. Layer with your Hyaluronic Acid every morning and night.
  • Me+ Hyaluronic Booster 30ml: Hyaluronic Acid locks water into the skin and this is the best first step after cleansing on damp skin morning and night.
  • Vitamin C 10% Booster 30ml: This works as both a protective antioxidant during the day and a skin brightener at night.
  • Simply Pure Hydrating Serum 50ml: Loaded with glycerine, this is fragrance free, has lots of humectants and glides on to skin to create the perfect makeup base. Use morning and night and throughout the day if needed.
The products inside this box are also Vegan and Cruelty-free and for £25, it is a brilliant line up of products and if Nadine is recommending them, then you know they are going to be good!
