Crabtree & Evelyn Wanderlust Dream Lifestyle Mist

When it comes to relaxation and creating a relaxing environment, I am always open to trying new ideas and new products in an effort to create just that.   One item I do use a lot of is a room spray and the one I have been using of late is the Crabtree & Evelyn Wanderlust Dream Lifestyle Mist.

What I love about mists is just how easy they are to use and if you find one that works for you, then they can make so much difference.
Prepare for sleep and unwind with the scent of cinnamon leaf and iris.
What I love about this mist is just how versatile it is.  When making an environment that is relaxing, for me it usually involves dimmed lights, a light candle and a blanket and then I either settle down to watch a film or the latest boxset I am watching otherwise I have my Kindle out as I read my latest book.  Using a mist such as this Wanderlust Dream lifestyle mist allows you to continue with your relaxed environment in advance.  You can use it by spritzing it into the room within which you are currently in, or you can spray it around your bedroom, onto pillows and sheets around 30 minutes before you plan on getting into bed.  You can also use it on your bath towels, which is such a lovely treat ready for when you are out of the bath or shower too.

With scents of pink pepper, elemi, cinnamon leaf and iris, Wanderlust Dream is a warm, earthy fragrance which works to soothe and relax all in an effort to get you dream ready. It does smell just absolutely amazing and is definitely one of those fragrances which does help you to settle down and relax and it is one of the longest lasting fragrances to stay within the air once it has been spritzed rather than disappearing.

If you feel you are in need of a scent which has some calming zen, then you can find the Crabtree & Evelyn Wanderlust Dream Lifestyle Mist via LookFantastic, Marks & SpencerFeelunique and of course Crabtree & Evelyn themselves.  If the Mist alone is not enough you can also find a Candle and a Reed Diffuser in the same scent, both of which I can imagine smell just divine.

Lanolips Hydrating Lip Luminisers

When it comes to using a lipgloss or a lip balm, I would always tend to choose the latter as I have a love/hate relationship when it comes to lipgloss, they are either too sticky, too tacky or are drying, but I do love the finish glossed look, so I am always torn as to whether or not I use one. Lanolips have managed to combine the best of both worlds and have created these Hydrating Lip Luminisers.
Lanolips Hydrating Lip Luminisers
Inspired by her DNA scientist father and a childhood spent on a sheep farm, Lanolips’ founder Kirsten Carriol developed Ultra Medical Grade lanolin which is an odourless, colourless and non-sticky ointment that is said to mimic the skin's oil to restore moisture. By creating these Hydrating Lip Luminisers which come in two different tints, you get the best of both worlds with a gloss and a balm combined.

The first shade is Beach Pop and to the lips it adds a lovely flush rose shade to the lips or there is Desert Glow that adds a shimmering true nude.

The texture of these balms is not as thick as I was expecting it to be considering they are a glossy balm, but once applied, there is a slight sticky feeling which soon disappears and it really does give a good pop of colour.  What I really love is how hydrating they both are, rather than drying out my lips, instead they act like a lip balm should and are hydrating.

They are perfect for those no makeup days but they also work well with lipsticks or on their own too. Within the formula of each Lip Luminiser, there are golden flecks which add to the shimmer. If you are looking for an alternative to lipgloss, lipbalm and lipstick and want something that sits right in the middle, then these Lip Luminisers from Lanolips are priced at just £13 and are available from Cult Beauty.

L'occitane Immortelle Youth Collection QVC Deal

If you hadn't guessed by now, I am a huge fan of L'Occitane and right now over on QVC (Item No. 238059) you can grab the L'Occitane Immortelle Youth Collection, worth over £160 for less £80 which, is a huge bargain!
L'occitane Immortelle Youth Collection QVC Deal
The Immortelle Collection is described as being a unique anti-ageing beauty routine and everything you would expect from L'Occitane.
It’s luxurious, it’s indulgent, it’s Divine. L’OCCITANE’s innovative formulas combine the powerful anti-ageing properties of organic Immortelle essential oil. Our range of award-winning products fight the visible signs of ageing providing instant replenishment and softness.
The Immortelle Youth Collection is comprised of four products from the range and together they give you the most amazing skincare regime.

The first product is the best-selling, award-winning 'miracle' cream and that is a 50ml pot of the Immortelle Divine Cream ( worth £78). Described as being a face moisturiser that fights against visible signs of ageing: wrinkles, loss of firmness, radiance and uneven skin tone, it contains a high concentration of Immortelle essential oil to help protect the skin from environmental aggressions.

It has the most incredibly smooth texture which melts like a dream into the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth to the touch.

An eye serum or cream is an absolute must for me and from L'Occitane we have a 15ml Immortelle Divine Eyes serum (worth £52.00). With its three patents, the Immortelle Divine Eye Serum combines the strength of Immortelle essential oil and is also enriched with a complex of natural origin ingredients. Is used on a daily basis, this anti-ageing under eye cream is to help regenerate the skin around the eye area, smooth out puffiness and dark circles, crows-feet lines are diminished and your skin is left feeling intensely nourished.

What I really like about this product is the light texture, I am not a fab of overly thick eye products, they irritate me, this is just divine, as the name suggests.

Next we have a 125ml tube of the Immortelle Divine Foaming Cleansing Cream (worth £28) and it is described as being a foaming cream which effectively removes make-up and impurities while enveloping the skin in comfort with its cream-in-foam texture. What I love about this foaming cleanser, which is often hit and miss for me, is just how light a texture the foam is when it is exposed to water. If you are familiar with shower foams (I reviewed the L'Occitane option here) then the formula for me is even lighter than those.

Again it is enriched with Immortelle essential oil and Vitamin E which work to smooth and illuminate skin as well as leaving it feeling so soft to the touch and not stripped or taut.

The final product within this foursome is the incredible Immortelle Overnight Reset Serum (worth £9) and it is described as being "A powerful trio of active ingredients are suspended in this innovative, dual textured serum to ‘reset’ skin overnight. Use of Immortelle Overnight Reset Serum results in a satin smooth finish with instantly hydrated skin".

I have a full review of the serum already on my blog here and I have loved using it so much, I bought a back up ready for when it runs out!

This is an incredible bundle of products and if you have always wanted to try L'Occitane skincare then this is an incredible introduction to some amazing products and all for less than £79!

Wedding Planning: What to do now? You’re engaged

Being asked to be someone’s companion for life is one of the most beautiful feelings. Many grooms plan to pop the question in the most majestic way possible. After this beautiful phase passes, you realize you have a wedding to plan. Fret not! We’re here to walk you through all the possible steps needed to plan a perfect wedding.

Hire a Wedding Planner

You can save yourself from the trouble and hire a wedding planner at this point. A wedding planner is a mystical being that will take away all your troubles. You will be able to enjoy your own wedding with a lot of ease and comfort. Consider reaching out to a San Francisco Bay wedding planner to handle the nitty-gritty details and ensure everything runs seamlessly. However, if you’re the kind of person who likes to finish their own tasks then read the following the steps that will guide you in planning your wedding in a perfect way:

1. Venue Hunt:

The first logical step to wedding planning is finalizing the venue. The venue should be such that meets your guest occupancy needs. So for that, create an estimated guest list and then start with the venue hunting. Once the venue is finalized you can send out the “save the date” e-cards.

2. Theme:

Resonating with your vision and the venue’s ambience you can finalise a theme. Some famous themes are countryside theme, beach theme, fairy-tale theme, etc.

3. Shopping of Wedding Dresses:

With theme and venue finalized it is time to hit the stores. Begin your shopping for wedding dresses by creating a list of targeted stores. Take your army of bridesmaids and try on as many gowns till you find the one. You can even find gowns online on sites like JJ’s House.

4. Bridesmaid & Mom:

After the wedding dresses are finalized, look for bridesmaid dresses. Along with finishing up with the bridesmaid dresses, you can even look for a dress for your mom. For these dresses also, you can visit JJ’s house, where you will not only find an amazing range of wedding dresses but also get amazing deals and discounts. They have a huge collection of gowns to meet the needs of everyone.

5. Accessories:
Dress selection should be accompanied by finalizing the accessories. So in this step procure complimenting shoes and jewellery. Make sure to coordinate with the wedding dresses.

6. Makeup and Hair Stylist:

When the wedding date is nearing, you may want to look for a good makeup and hair stylist. Before finalizing one seasoned stylist you may want to get trials from your list of potentials stylists. This helps you create a vision before your wedding. By this, the chances of makeup mishaps happening on your wedding day will reduce significantly.

7. Engagement Photography:

Many couples opt for getting an engagement photography shot before the D-day. This helps them collect beautiful memories while also giving them good pictures to make for a great invite.

8. Rehearsal Dinner:

This step is a must for every wedding as every family conducts it. It is the rehearsal dinner which happens a day prior to the wedding. This is where the family shares funny anecdotes and relish in happy memories. Rehearsal dinner sets a nice tone for the upcoming wedding.

Wrapping-Up:

There are certain steps which a lot of couples add or skip like a bachelor’s party. However, these are some basic and essentials steps that you should take care of. The most important though is to have loads of fun at your wedding.

Did you have an engagement party?
