Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature range - NEW RELEASE

Jurlique is no stranger to this blog and one of the products I adore the most is the Rosewater Balancing Mist which is always in my stash and usually on my desk at work. A few weeks ago, I went along to the beautiful store, here on London's Oxford Street to learn all about the New Herbal Recovery Signature range and if you adore Jurlique then you will love this, if you love the colour pink then you will love this and more importantly, if you have never tried anything from Jurlique - you need to try this range.
Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature range
Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature range
The new Herbal Recovery Signature range contains a unique blend of pure powerful botanical extracts and they include the likes of concentrated antioxidant-rich Viola tricolour extract (which helps minimise the signs of ageing and reduces dullness) and rejuvenating Yarrow extract which together helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a smoother skin texture and dullness.  Nestled in the hill of South Australia is the Jurlique organic farm and it is here that these extracts are grown, harvested and handpicked when they reach their peak, this then ensures that they are at their most powerful.

Within this range, each extract was chosen for its ability to combat specific skin concerns such as lines, dullness and wrinkles and within each product is a hero ingredient. With five products in the range, I've been giving them a try and already have a favourite product!

Herbal Recovery Signature Mist 100ml £32.
If you know anything about Jurlique, then you will know that they do the most incredible face mists and this one is no exception.  It is described as being the ultimate replenishing mist and what I really like is that as well as being hydrating, when spritzed, rather than soak you through, the mist is so fine that you can barely feel it hit the skin.
Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature range
It is infused with glow-giving Nasturtium, brightening Citrus Unshiu Peel and Japanese Cedar Bud extracts not only softens skin but preps it for your next skin care step. Also included is the signature Jurlique extract blend of Rose, Marshmallow Root, Lavender and Calendula plus Yarrow works like an antioxidant infusion while protecting the skin from environmental aggressors, something you definitely need if you live in a polluted city.

Hero Ingredient: Contains revitalising Nasturtium which helps improve the complexion and evens skin tone.

Herbal Recovery Signature Serum 30mL £55, 50ml £85
If you like a serum in your skincare routine and you like a serum which isn't too heavy, doesn't have that greasy feel when applied and absorbs itself instantly into the skin, then this one ticks all those boxes.  Described as being an exceptional serum combats the appearance of lines, wrinkles and uneven skin tone while enhancing firmness to deliver a youthful, fresh glow.
Using extracts of antioxidant-rich Viola tricolour and rejuvenating Yarrow combined with extracts of Japanese Cedar Bud and Beech Tree Bud to return the skin’s youthful-looking texture. Then we have the addition of Meadowfoam Seed Oil and Marshmallow Root extract which helps the skin to feel firmer and more hydrated. Finally, the use of Jurliques Advanced Gel Technology which helps to improve skin’s ability to retain moisture.

Hero ingredient: Red Clover Flower extract is grown on our Jurlique Farm and has been scientifically proven to enhance the hydrating role of Hyaluronic Acid and smooth out the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Herbal Recovery Signature Moisturising Cream 50ml £50
I am quite picky when it comes to moisturising creams, I don't like anything over thick or greasy on my skin.  This cream is neither of those, it is incredibly moisturising and it literally melts onto the skin as soon as it is applied and leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and soft to the touch.
Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature range
The ingredients for this cream include both Yarrow and Japanese Cedar Bud extracts which work to soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles while improving skin barrier function,. Then there is Marshmallow Root extract which moisturises and Viola tricolour which helps skin look firmer. Finally, Citrus Unshiu Peel extract reduces the appearance of dullness and sparks new luminosity.

Hero ingredient: Japanese Cedar Bud extract helps skin feel firmer while reducing the appearance of fatigue and illuminating the complexion.

Herbal Recovery Signature Moisturising Lotion 50ml £50
If you find moisturising creams a little too heavy for you skin, then Jurlique have this wonderfully lightweight hydrating lotion which I adore.  On contact with the skin it immediately absorbs as it works to help revitalise your skins youthful glow.
Ingredients within this lotion include Yarrow and Japanese Cedar Bud extracts which help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Extracts of Marshmallow Root and Viola tricolour helps moisturise skin and Japanese Cedar Bud extract improves the skin’s natural barrier function.

Hero ingredient: Japanese Cedar Bud extract reduces the appearance of dullness and sparks luminosity.

Herbal Recovery Signature Eye Cream 15 ml £38
One item that is always within my skincare routine is an eye cream and again, because of where it is applied, I like my creams to have a serum like texture, that way, they don't feel so thick and tacky under the eye. From Jurlique we have an eye cream which is rich and hydrating and because it is loaded with specially selected plant-based antioxidants, this eye cream works to minimise the signs of tiredness.
Jurlique Herbal Recovery Signature range
Within this eye cream there is extracts of Yarrow, Japanese Cedar Bud and Beech Tree Bud which together work to combat the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and help firm and re-energise the delicate skin around the eye. There is also the inclusion of Citrus Unshiu Peel extract reduces the appearance of dullness for a luminous complexion.

Hero Ingredient: Persian Silk Tree extract minimises the appearance of puffiness, dark circles and smooths skin.

Put together, this collection is absolutely stunning to not only look at but to use.  Soothing for the skin, not greasy, not tacky, hydrating and just full of goodness.  My favourite product from the range so far is the moisturising lotion, so light on the skin and so moisturising, it just a delight to use.

The Herbal Recovery Signature Range is released on 3rd September online (here) and in store.

Hershey's Flavoured Lip Balms

Utter the word Hersey and I am there like a shot, I mean is there anything better than a Hersey's Reece's Piece? I don't think there is in all honesty and when this little gift set arrived, I was slightly gutted I couldn't eat it but... could this be the next best thing? Has someone managed to invent a product that looks like a Reese's Piece, smells like one and it is something I can use without it being bad for me?
Hershey's Flavoured Lip Balms
Hershey's Flavoured Lip Balms
Inside this package are 4 flavoured lip balms from the Hershey's range and as you can see there is:

  • Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter Lip Balm - It looks exactly like a Reece's Piece Cup and it smells almost the same. I am not too much of a fan of the texture but I do love the smell and it does make me want to eat chocolate.  As for whether or not it does anything good for my lips I can't say that it does.
  • Hershey's Kisses flavoured Lip Balm - Again, this lip balms has the exact same scent as a Hershey's kisses chocolate.  Again this is a stick balm which means it is easy to apply and once on the lips, of all four flavours available, this one feels the most moisturising.
  • Hershey's Milk CHocolate flavoured Lip Balm - This balm could almost have been the bar of chocolate, the smell is just identical and because it is in a stick form, the application is really easy.
  • Jolly Rancher Watermelon Flavoured Lip Balm - I am obsessed with Watermelon right now and have taken to making my own version of Costa Coffee Watermelon coolers at home quite successfully.  That said, this lip balm has a really sweet scent to it, not one I would associate with a watermelon, but it is pleasant.

I love how cute this set looks and whilst I don't have a price for it, I do think it would make a great gift.  Have you tried any of these balms?

Thomas Sabo Jewellery - Sterling Silver Collection

On a day to day basis, I tend to wear minimal jewellery, often just my wedding and engagement rings and maybe a pair of earrings, I am not someone who likes to be covered in bling. One brand I do absolutely love is Thomas Sabo, a brand who I feel best represents my personality and whom I go to when I buying presents and gifts for family and friends. The Thomas Sabo Slogan being - Unconventional, Contemporary and Vintage

A few months back I reviewed the Cancerian Charm Necklace (here) which I have had so many comments on because it is just stunning. Today I am back with more Thomas Sabo Jewellery from their Rebel At Heart Collection which I was kindly gifted.

Thomas Sabo Jewellery - Sterling Silver Collection
Whenever you go into Thomas Sabo, or look online, there is aways something to The Rebel At Heart Collection which is described as being Extravagant and Expressive and for the Rock 'n' Roll Soul. The Sterling Silver Collection, which is where ive selected pieces from and it is a collection that is all about variety. There are different ranges for both men and women and it is a collection which caters for all styles and tastes. Whether you want engravable pieces and stunning earring, statement skull rings and mystical Karma Beads, there is something for everyone and every taste! The one difficulty is choosing my favourite items and it did take several days agonising what I liked the look of the most, but eventually, I settled on the following:

The first item I chose comes from the Silver Bracelet selection with the Black Classic Pave Bracelet (£98) and again, it is just stunning. I have quite small wrists, so usually end up having bracelets re-sized to fit, but this one is an adjustable bracelet, featuring a lobster clasp and it didn't need any altering at a
ll.

Along the chain, there is three circle Thomas Sabo discs and within each one is 7 sparkling stones, which are black in colour and again work really well against the silver discs, all of which have the words Thomas Sabo inscribed onto them. Again, this bracelet can be worn for both a casual everyday event or it can be dressed up for a more formal occasion.  I have worn it on both occasions and it always gets comments.

The second item I chose from the Earrings for women section is these Royalty Black Ear Stud (£49). I have really small ears, so I always opt for earrings which don't emphasise how small they are, so no large hoops or anything that dangles too low.
Thomas Sabo Jewellery - Sterling Silver Collection

What stood out to me when choosing these earrings is the design, unlike anything else I own and quite striking in design, the description reads as follows:

The cross motif of these ear studs impresses with vintage charm, which really comes into its own thanks to the artistically worked engravings, stone embellishment and blackened Sterling silver.

The cross motif with the black stone embellishments work really well with the bracelet featured above and when worn together make quite the pair. Sitting on 925 Sterling Silver with push back clasps they feature handcrafted precision details and because they are quite dainty, the black stones make them stand out.  If my jewellery doesn't feature skulls then somewhere there is usually always a cross and these fit in perfectly with my style and personality.

The final item I chose is in keeping with the other two items and it is this Silver Necklace called the Sterling Silver Glam & Soul Royalty Star Necklace (£119) which is just stunning to look at.  The Glam & Soul Range is described as being a collection which is made up of versatile women’s jewellery and watches perfect for all styles and occasions and it includes a wide range of necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings. So whether you want simple yet stylish or something a little more of a statement, then this is the collection for you.

I chose this necklace because I love the simplicity of the chain, but the statement made by the Star, as soon as I saw it on the screen, it jumped out at me.
Thomas Sabo Jewellery - Sterling Silver Collection
This necklace has been preciously handcrafted and the star pendant, which is a glittering cubic zirconia embellishment, is fitted onto a length-adjustable chain with a lobster clasp as well as white charm carrier, so at any point in time, you can swap and change your pendant. This necklace also comes with the description:
"The magic of the jewellery item is created by the combination of vintage design language and sparkling stone embellishment".
Sitting on a chain which is around 45cm in length, hangs below the neckline and sits flat against the chest and what I really love is how easy this is to wear for a formal or casual occasion, it is totally flattering and shines prettily in daylight.

Keeping the presentation of the jewellery stunning, all Thomas Sabo products are perfectly presented in Thomas Sabo packaging with a gift bag and box.
Thomas Sabo Jewellery - Sterling Silver Collection
Thomas Sabo guarantees the entire range of branded products with a full warranty, covering manufacturing and material defaults for a period of up to two years from the date of purchase.

I would love to know if you have ever purchased anything from Thomas Sabo, or whether anything from their new releases has caught your attention.
