Tatcha The Water Cream

I have already shared my love for the Tatcha Dewy Cream, which I have a full review of right here, but today I am sharing my even greater love of the Tatcha Water Cream.
Tatcha Water Cream
Tatcha, if you are not aware, was created back in 2009, and as a brand, it is more than just a cream for a reason, instead it is all about creating an entire ritual for your body, skin and soul, through the power of skincare. From Japanese wild rose to pearl, each of the ingredients is carefully curated and incorporated into Tatcha products to boost your skin's health and radiance daily.
Deeply hydrate and balance the skin with Tatcha The Water Cream, a moisturising cream that contains powerful botanicals to promote healthy ageing. This unique water-burst cream does not contain any mineral oil, phthalates, sulphate, parabens or synthetic fragrances.
Suitable for oily and oily combination skin, this oil-free moisturiser is not only formulated with Japanese Wild Rose which works to visibly tighten pores and smooth the skin texture, it also has a host of other ingredients which include:
  • Japanese Leopard Lily which helps to control excess oil and clarify skin by encouraging natural skin turnover.
  • Hadasei-3™ - This trio of antioxidant-rich Japanese superfoods work together to reveal soft, healthy-looking skin. Featuring Uji Green Tea which is known to detoxify and help prevent signs of premature aging, Okinawa Red Algae which rich in polysaccharides, essential for skin water retention and renewal and Akita Rice which is a nourishing moisturiser which rich in essential proteins.
Plus this cream is also infused with 3-karat gold to give your skin subtle, but not over-the-top shimmery glow and if that isn't enough, it also comes with the cutest gold spoon applicator too.
Tatcha Water Cream
On the skin, the Tatcha Water Cream has that lightweight gel/cream texture and once applied, it is refreshing, soothing, moisturising and just an absolute delight to use. It isn't greasy or tacky and it doesn't sit on the skin for too long after application, in fact I've found it just absorbs super-quickly and leaves behind really soft skin.

Perfect for use in both the morning and the evening, you only need the smallest pearl sized amount because a little goes a long way with this cream.

To date, this has been my favourite discovery from Tatcha and whilst it does cost £63 for 50ml, the cream does last a very long time and is absolutely worth every single penny!
