Tatcha - The Dewy Skin Cream

Tatcha is a new brand that I have been getting to know via these two wonderful creams and having shared some initial thoughts a while back, today I am back with The Dewy Skin Cream.

Tatcha was created back in 2009, and as a brand it is all about creating an entire ritual for your body, skin and soul, through the power of skincare. From Japanese wild rose to pearl, each of the ingredients is carefully curated and incorporated into Tatcha products to boost your skin's health and radiance daily.

The Dewy Skin Cream is described as being a rich, moisturising cream that gives skin a healthy dewy glow.
Give skin a dewy, healthy glow with the help of Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream, a rich, moisturising cream that works to plump and hydrate the skin. A blend of botanical extracts and oil work to nourish and moisturise the skin while enhancing its ability to retain and release moisture as necessary
Ideal for those with dry skin or for anyone who has combination skin which likes a richer moisturising cream. What I have come to learn about Tatcha is that every single ingredient is chosen for a reason, usually Japanese botanicals with proven clinical ingredients and this cream is no different.

Key Ingredients

  • Japanese Purple Rice - said to be packed with nutrients and known for its ability to survive any harsh environment. It is rich in anthocyanin, a strong antioxidant which helps to restore skin and protect against stress and pollution, helping skin look healthier and more balanced.
  • Okinawa Algae Blend + Hyaluronic Acid: This is special blend of Okinawa algae and hyaluronic acid captures water to help restore skin’s natural moisture reservoir and it also helps to replenish ceramides to ensure an optimum skin barrier, aiding in the reduction of future moisture loss, for skin that is visibly smooth and plump with hydration.
  • Botanical Extracts: Using a blend of botanical extracts and oils such as ginseng, wild thyme and sweet marjoram, they work together to nourish and moisturises skin, enhancing its natural ability to retain and release moisture as needed, plus it also  imparts a radiant, dewy glow.
This cream is wonderfully rich and my skin loves it, despite being oily-combination. I had initially expected it to be quite heavy but it isn't at all and using the accompanying gold spoon, which is so boujie I adore it, you get just the right sized pearl blob of cream and it melts into the skin with minimal effort and afterwards, the softness and the smoothness is incredible. If I could cover my entire body with it, I would!

Priced at £63 for 50ml, it is on the pricier side for a cream, but absolutely worth every single penny!
