Now the excitement of Advent Calendars has pretty much come to an end, Glossybox are not back with their Glossybox x Hello Beauty Heroes Limited Edition Box and it is a cracker.

Freya + Bailey Limited Edition Collection

Freya + Bailey skincare is a brand I am not at all familiar with.  I have seen it pop up on my social media feed but it isn't a brand I know much about.  For the last few months, I have been sharing a lot of Beauty Advent Calendars on my blog, mainly with the premise that if there is a brand you know little about and they create an Advent Calendar, it can be a really good way to try out some of their products.

Botanical Lab expands its Anti-Blemish Range with two new launches

Since the launch of their Anti-Blemish range, Botanical Lab has added to it with the introduction of their Purple Ginseng + Niacinamide Mattifying Moisturiser and Witch Hazel + Salicylic Acid Cleansing Pads.  Botanical Lab, describes themselves as being an unconventional, stylish and affordable range for clear skin. Once you have finished with the pads, the second product, which makes up Step Two can be used.

STEP TWO: MOISTURISE with Botanical Lab Purple Ginseng + Niacinamide Mattifying Moisturiser (£12.99).  This is a really lightweight lotion which is formulated with purple ginseng, salicylic acid and niacinamide.

The first product within the box Niré Beauty Aloe Vera with Lavender and Chamomile Soap (100g) and it is absolutely delightful.

I am a huge fan of essential oils, I mention them a lot on this blog and Lavender is one of my favourites to use.

As an Oil, Lavender has so many different uses, for example, it can also used to relieve headaches, anxiety and for many, it is probably better known for its insomnia. What I like about this oil is the calmness the scent promotes and it is perfect for those times when you just need to relax and wind down.

I really don't think I need to mention my love of candles, I always have one burning and this candle is one that you don't need to burn because the scent is so lovely and strong.

This candle is described as being a rich oriental fragrance opening with sparkling citrus top notes leading to a heart of lush lavender and resting on a substantive base of tonka bean, vanilla, precious woods and amber.  So for anyone who isn't too keen on the scent of Lavender the notes of tonka bean and vanilla are right in there.

Finally in this box we have the Sleepy Shower Steamers from Bubble & Bath. For anyone who doesn't have a bath, products such as these Shower Steamers are a really fab thing to try.

Sleepy is scented with Lavender which smells like freshly picked lavender flowers and is bursting with a floral aroma, as soon as the steamer comes into contact with water and begins to fizzle away, the scent intensifies and it is perfect for use before bed to help you relax and wind down.

Q&A Skin Christmas Crackers

I do love a good beauty cracker, the ultimate goal is to have a Christmas Tree which features a whole host of beauty baubles and crackers, which is more than possible right now! Today I am sharing the Q&A Skin Christmas Crackers.  

As a brand, Q&A described themselves as being a natural, clean and ingredient focused skincare brand on a mission to demystify skincare. Their skincare range is 98% natural and predominately vegan and cruelty-free! These crackers are the perfect gift for anyone who hasn’t come across the brand but wants to know more about them! There is three to choose from and here they are.

The first cracker is the Festive Favourite Cracker which at just £5 is an absolutely incredible bargain! 

Inside the cracker is the Liquorice Lip Oil, which is designed to glide onto lips to give a boost of hydration and a lovely shiny finish. It contains three main ingredients:

• Polyglutamic Acid - This helps to draw moisture into your skin and works to promote healthy skin repair, whilst working with Hyaluronic Acid to keep your skin cells nourished by forming a protective barrier to keep the Hyaluronic Acid right where we need it most.

Then we have the Hyaluronic Acid Facial Serum which is perfect for skin which is described as being dehydrated, in need of a refresh. Again it has three key ingredients:

• Hyaluronic Acid which rejuvenates, hydrates, and promotes healthy skin. 
• Biosaccaride Gum which provides intense moisturisation whilst helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines. It will leave your skin velvety soft and feeling fresher than eve
• Beatine which helps to balance moisture levels, and it also prevents products from feeling sticky.
• I really like the feel of this serum on my skin, it’s lightweight but without being too runny and it absorbs in double quick time.

For just £12 this is a really good cracker and would make an amazing stocking filler.

Then the final cracker Merry + Bright Christmas Cracker which is described as being perfect for skin which is dehydrated, feeling unbalanced or in need of a refresh. Inside this cracker is a mask duo that will satisfy every skin craving and all for just £12!

This cracker contains a full sized and again there is three notable ingredients:

• Activated Charcoal which works to draw out impurities from the skin, especially those stubborn blackheads!
• Bentonite - This is a natural clay which has the power to absorb excess sebum from your skin and is said to be the perfect ingredient for oily and acne-prone skin types. 
• Kaolin - this is a natural clay that helps to detoxify the skin and give the Activated Charcoal Face Mask its luxurious texture.

The second product within this cracker is the Vitamin A.C.E Face Mask and it is described as being an antioxidant rich face mask that is packed with favourite Super Food ingredients.

Evolve Organic Beauty Pure Mask Magic

I love a good facemask and for my Christmas Gift Guide series this year I have two different ones to share with you, today it is the Evolve Organic Beauty Pure Magic Set (£30).

The products from Evolve are vegan, cruelty free and eco-friendly.

Well if that isn't inviting enough to tempt you in, then the rest of this post will be.  Inside the beautifully presented box are three of Evolve's amazing masks and each one has its own sense of purpose and whether you decide to use them on their own or as part of a multi-masking full on pampering session, you won't be disappointed.

The first mask out of the box happens to be my second favourite mask from Evolve and that is the Bio-Retinol Gold Mask (30ml).

This gold face mask uses Bio-Retinol, which is a natural retinol-like plant extract from Bidens Pilosa and whilst it is said to possess a whole host of properties such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, within this mask it works on the skin to deliver the same rejuvenation and cellular renewal benefits as Retinol, but without any irritation.  This mask also contains bothorganic Argan Oil and Rosehip Oil which work together to really nourish and moisturise your skin, so it glows just as much as the sustainably sourced mineral Mica that has been used for the golden shimmers!

When using the Bio-Retinol Gold Mask, the directions are to apply a thick layer onto skin after cleansing and then leave it to work its magic for around for 5-10 minutes. I find this mask much easier to apply using a spatula because of the consistency, which I happen to love, to get an even coverage. Once that time is up, add warm water to transform the gold mask into a milky texture and then rinse off.

The second Mask within this Pure Mask Magic Set is the Miracle Mask (30ml) and if you like a fruity scented mask, then this one you are going to absolutely adore.

This is an exfoliating face mask which has been blended with 100% natural fruit acids including Glycolic Acid from Sugar Cane and its job is to instantly deliver smoother plumper skin. Then there is the inclusion of Peruvian Maca, described as being an ancient energy booster, it helps to increase cellular renewal, skin radiance and works to reduce the appearance of ageing whilst Papaya acts as a natural exfoliator.

When using this Miracle Mask, again you need to apply a thick layer on to freshly cleansed skin, but this time, you only need to leave it to work for around 3-5 minutes before rinsing clean with warm water. To look at this, this mask reminds me of a syrup because it is so smooth, only it isn't sticky or tacky when applied to the skin.

The final mask within this trio is my favourite and it is the Radiant Glow Mask (30ml) which smells good enough to eat and I have a full review of this mask.

Suitable for all skin types, this rich mask has three main ingredients which turn it from being just an ordinary face mask into something quite special and they include Raw Cacao which is high in antioxidants and helps to protect the skin and improve hydration and complexion. Then we have Sweet Almond Oil which is not only rich in Vitamin A, E and B's but also has high moisturising, emollient and nourishing properties, up next we have Coconut Shell Particles and Evolve uses up-cycled coconut shell particles to act as the exfoliant to delicately buff away dead skin cells leaving skin smooth, soft and brightened.  Aside for the main ingredients we also have the use of natural sugar extracts which turn this exfoliating mask into a creamy milk on contact with water, Kaolin Clay which helps to revitalise and purify and it is fragranced with Organic Vanilla oil, which thankfully doesn't overpower the chocolate scent.

To use this mask, you need to apply a thick layer onto the skin, again, I find it much easier to apply using a spatula and despite the inclusion of Kaolin Clay, which my skin is not a fan of, this is one of only two masks which has never caused my skin to have a hissy fit and react!  Once the mask has been applied, it should be left on the skin for around 5 minutes and then remove with warm water and I always use a cloth, sometimes a flannel and others a Muslin cloth.

With this Pure Magic Mask Set, you really get quite the choice, deciding which one to use or which two or three to multi-mask with, depending on your skin concern at the time. All three work wonders on their own as they do together.

The Body Shop Flutter & Flick Eye Makeup Gift

I have an incredible collection of gift guides coming up with The Body Shop and having already shared the three seasonal fragrance collections on my blog, today is one for the makeup lover in your life with the Flutter & Flick Eye Makeup Gift (£20).

Packaged inside the most beautiful festive box you will find three products - Happy Go Lash Mascara, Smoky Eye Definer Pencil and then the Camomile Cleansing Butter, which as a trio is so cute.

The Happy Go Lash Mascara is described as being a black, everyday mascara which works to thicken and define the lashes, whilst being gentle. 

Made with 93% ingredients of natural origin, the mascara is enriched with 93% ingredients of natural origin, including organic beeswax and Community Fair Trade organic virgin coconut oil, so not only is at as easy to remove as it is to apply, the ingredients also look after your lashes too.  What I like about this mascara is that it gives a natural look.  I have fairly long eyelashes, so anything with a formula that is too wet leaves my lashes looking dreadful.  The wand is also fairly easy to work with too, the bristles are fairly soft and thick and move between the lashes easily.

Eyeliner is something I don't go out of my way to purchase as I can live without it, but this Smoky Eye Definer Pencil is one I have really liked. It is available in black or brown and within this kit, it is the black shade.

It is incredible soft on the waterline and easy to glide along without pulling the delicate skin, plus as the pencil has a smudger on one end, if you want that more dramatic look, there is plenty of time to apply and then smudge, it isn't any eyeliner that doesn't budge before you have your chance. 

Finally we have the Camomile Cleansing Butter which I am a huge fan of already and within this Makeup Gift, it is a smaller tin, perfect for your makeup bag!

If you haven't come across this Cleansing Butter before, you need to grab some. It has one of the softest textures I've ever used and it is designed to not only only be kind to your skin, but to also gently melt away your makeup, which it does in just a few seconds of being on your skin and I always use mine in conjunction with the Body Shop Muslin Cloths, which at £2.50 are amazing value for money.

Black Friday originated from the US and it is a tradition we have seemingly adopted here in the UK, though not on the same scale. This year's Black Friday is set to be on 26 November, making it an ideal time to grab those last minute Christmas presents you really weren't up for paying full price for.  In this post, I will be sharing with you all the biggest and best beauty deals for 2021, just as I have done over the past few years and I suspect 2021 is going to be bigger and better than ever with a lot more deals and offerings.

Amazon - They usually start their Cyber deals off a week earlier than Black Friday and they always have some amazing Beauty Deals to grab hold of and this year I am sure the deals will be amazing.

Aromatherapy Associates - If, like me you absolutely adore this brand, they are already having a 25% off sale that is worth taking advantage of!

Aurelia Beauty - They are offering 40% off on their website right now with the code Black40, plus a free gift with every order and double loyalty points! 

Beauty Bay - Their Black Friday event is always amazing and they currently offering 30% off almost everything including brands such as Zoeva and some brands have as much as a 50% offering! Find them here

Beauty Pie - Last year they offered a months free membership for Black Friday and as a member already, I’m hoping for some really good deals. If you’re yet to sign up, I have a referral code that gets you and me a bonus!

Bioeffect - they are offering 20% off everything and this includes Christmas gift sets which already have a value saving

Bobbi Brown - They are currently offering 20% off sitewide if you use the code LUXEBEAUTY and there is also a few Gift With Purchase offers too.

Charlotte Tilbury famously goes big when it comes to Black Friday deals. Her 2020 Black Friday sale was one of the very best with the most amazing gift sets on offer. The offering currently is up to 30% off a lot of products and you can find them here. Also, those infamous mystery boxes are back and they are incredible!!

Ciate - Starting on Monday the 23rd of November with 30% discount off all makeup and there will also be deals on some beauty bundles too.

Clarins - Currently they have a mailing list to sign up too for details on their offerings.

Cloud10 - They are offering 30% off currently and here you will find brands such as Emma Hardie, Alpha H, Morphe, Nuxe and more.

Colourpop - Always an amazing Black Friday sale with Colourpop and if you’re tempted or curious this is the time to be buying! As a reminder they add the tax onto your basket when you check out so no surprise customs fees! 

Cult Beauty offered a range of discounts for Black Friday with a whole host of much loved brands from Charlotte Tilbury and Chantecaille to haircare and skin-tech with up to 30% off. Sign up now to be alerted to Cult Beauty Black Friday.

Current Body - Here is an amazing offering of up to 50% off and im told this will get higher closer to Black Friday, so one to bookmark!

Deciem - Again, following their campaign for 2019 and 2020, Deciem is encouraging it’s customers to shop slowly and are offering 23% off everything for the whole of November.

Elemis - Offering 30% off plus get a FREE 5-piece exclusive gift with £100+ after discount. Use Code: CELEBRATION

Escentric Molecules- the cult fragrance brand and creator of iconic Molecule 01. is offering 20% off everything.

Escentual - There is already some amazing deals with Escentual but if you use the code BLACK10 you can grab an extra 10% at check out.

Faace - From Friday 26th to Monday 29th November, they will be offering 25% off sitewide at wearefaace.com. Big supporters of period poverty, for every Period, Tired or Sweaty full-sized mask sold, a pack of sanitary products will be donated to someone in need via Hey Girls. Fiils - Special Green Friday Offer. From Friday 26th November to Friday 3rd December, they will be offering free aluminium bottles to store your refills and a washbag with orders over £60 plus free shipping. And that’s not all, to show how much they care about the planet, this stylish and sustainable bathroom brand will also plant two trees for every order.

Foamie -  the 100% plastic free sustainable skincare, haircare and body care bars is offering 33% off everything

Foreo - My beloved facial cleansing buddies are offering 50% off their products and it includes the Bear!

Fresh - Currently offering 20% off or 25% off everything with a £100 spend, the Black Friday deals are yet to be shared.

Green People - Green People are celebrating Black Friday 2021 with an 8 day-long, 25% discount across all ranges. The offer runs from 22nd to 29th November, inclusive. Simply use the code BLACK25 at the check-out. Free delivery on orders £25 and above. 

Kate Somerville - Currently offering 25% off sitewide with a free gift on a £100 spend.

Kiehls - There is already a few deals to be online with Kiehls, so if you are a fan of the brand then it is well worth having a look. 

Lancôme - The Black Friday deals start on 15th November where you will get 30% off sitewide, though it doesn’t include gift sets. Use the code BF2021 at the check out.

La Roche-Posay - Offering 33% off sitewide plus a complimentary free gift when you spend £35 or more.

Liberty - There is an offering of 15% off within the beauty category which sees some amazing brands included!

Liz Earle - There is an offering of 30% off on skincare, hair care and a whole lot more.

L’Occitane - They are offering 20% off all products plus a donation of £1 from every hand cream sold goes to PUR Project to plant trees.

Lookfantastic - They are having a Cyber Beauty Takeover Event and you can sign up now for access all areas discounts and much more.

MAC Cosmetics - I have some amazing  Black Friday offerings from MAC Cosmetics to come but there is currently 20% off on many products and if you sign up to the Black Friday waiting list, you’ll be one of the first to get your hands on some bargain.

Medik8 - A brand I am absolutely loving, Medik8 have a waiting list you can join to get access to what we are told will be some incredible Black Friday offerings.

Molton Brown - Molton Brown are offering 25% off everything (excluding gift cards) over Black Friday weekend.

Murad - There is said to be savings of up to 35% on the exclusive Black Friday deals and I will be first in the queue for some of my favourite products!

NARS - NARS always has an amazing Black Friday sale and rumours have that this year it is going to be their biggest sale with site-wide discounts including their holiday collection!

Neal’s Yard - To find out more about the offerings for Black Friday, you need to sign up to the mailing list to get advance notice of what’s to come. Last year there was savings of up to 30%!

Net A Porter - They will have an offer running at 15% off on beauty from 26th November, just use the code BlackFriday.

Omorovicza -  They are offering 20% Off Sitewide using the code CYBER20 and if you spend £150, you will receive a full-sized complimentary 9 piece gift worth £210.

OPI - There is an offer of 30% off with OPI right now online and that offer has been extended to the entire range!

Paula’s Choice - Starting on 21st November, the Black Friday deals for Paula’s Choice are said to be immense and if you subscribe to their newsletter you can get £5 off your next order!

REN Clean Skincare - There is now an amazing offer of 25% off using the code BF25 plus a free gift when you spend £75 sitewide.

Revolution - There is always an offer from Revolution but currently it is 50% off and it includes Advent Calendars and Christmas gifts.

Selfridges - They don’t use the term Black Friday, but do offer a discount that coincides with Cyber Week and this year, you need to use the code SELFCCE for 10% off beauty & 20% off fashion.  There is currently up to 20% off some beauty products too.

Skin in Motion - From 24th-30th November there is a Black Friday offering of half price on kits and 25% off the full range site-wide using the code BF25 across the Black Friday period.

Space NK - For 2020, Space NK had some amazing deals and for 2021 there is an offering of 25% off from November 23rd and it includes brands such as Olaplex, Drunk Elephant and more.

Smashbox - They already have some warm-up Black Friday offerings online, but you can also sign up for VIP access and get 15% off whilst waiting for the sales once they start.

Superdrug - Getting in there early, the Black Friday deals kicked off on 3 November for its health and beautycard members, both online and in-store with up to 55% off across beauty, fragrance, electrical and more!

The Body Shop - They have usually got some incredible deals all year round, but to get your hands on some Black Friday deal alerts, there is a waiting list to sign up too.

Tisserand -  Tisserand Aromatherapy are offering 25% off everything sitewide all Black Friday weekend.

Urban Decay - They are offering an amazing 40% off sitewide from 00:01 on 22nd November till 23:59 on 29th November, no code needed as the discount will be automatically applied at checkout.
