Rosalique 3-in-1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula

I have redness flushing on both cheeks, more noticeable on the left cheek but nonetheless, it is there and green colour correcting products have been my friend for some time, anyone who uses colour correcting products will be aware that greens help to cover redness.

The Rosalique formula has been developed especially for hypersensitive and redness-prone skin and it works to give an instant, gentle and long-term improvement. It does this by using microencapsulated redness concealing technology as well as Bisabolol, a clinically proven redness reducing ingredient. Alongside those, we have provitamin B5, Zeolite and Shea Butter.  Together they instantly conceal redness, gently reduce symptoms and because it has SPF25 helps to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays.

I have been using Rosalique for a good few months now and I have tried it when I have a slight flushing and when my cheeks are more rosy red and  as you can see from the swatch above, which is unedited, it is most definitely green in colour and when applied to the red areas on my cheeks, it does conceal them enough that I am comfortable.  Once it has been applied, I use a beauty blender, but on days when I need a little more coverage because the redness is really rosy, I have then used Rosalique but also with a little powder over the top. 

What I really like about this product is its ability to cover my redness, be it a light flushing or something a little rosier. Woman by Ralph Lauren

I absolutely love my fragrances and for me, they are quite a personal choice, not every perfume or aftershave suits everyone and whilst your absolute favourite scent smells incredible to you, to someone else it could be just horrid.

One fragrance I have worn every single day and one which I have had a lot of compliments on is the latest release from Ralph Lauren called Woman, a scent which is described as being one that embodies the duality of women:

Inspired by Ralph Lauren's vision of a heroine - someone who is fearless yet feminine, strong yet expressive, she strikes an alluring harmony between audacious power and feminine grace. The ultimate embodiment of modern femininity, she leads like a woman. 

If you like your fruity florals then this fragrance ticks both of those boxes and as I've said, this scent is right up there ticking those boxes for me.  It opens strongly with notes of pear, rhubarb and blackcurrant to give that really sharp fruity kick and then as it begins to settle, the middle notes of tuberose, orange blossom and Turkish rose come into play and at this point, I knew the fragrance was for me, even before the base notes of sandalwood, Hazlenut and cedarwood bring the scent down to earth with their woodiness.  With this fragrance, it is a case of less is more, one or two spritzes at most will be more than enough to last the entire day, it has a longevity of around 7-8 hours when I wear it for example.

I absolutely adore the bottle, simple yet elegant with its shapely glass bottle and gold accents but with the eyes being drawn to the flip top lid, something that you don't really see on perfume bottles anymore.  The bottle design is said to have been chosen as it takes inspiration from the traditional shape of a flask with soft curves, for me, it looks every bit as luxurious as I would expect.
