Olympéa Solar Paco Rabanne

New to my fragrance collection is Olympéa Solar by Paco Rabanne, the newest fragrance from the brand and it is just stunning.
Olympéa Solar Paco Rabanne
Described as being a a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women, if you like the Olympéa range, then you need to add this one to your collection.
The immediate feeling of being transported to a sunshine haven on a radiant day.
Olympéa Solar was launched this year and it has some incredible notes that run throughout. Opening with the Top notes of Mandarin Orange, Orange Peel and Orange Blossom; you immediate get a hit of sharp citrus notes which are as zesty as they are warm. Then with the heart notes, referred to as being Solar notes which is a relatively new term when it comes to fragrances and they they refer to perfumes that possess a sunny disposition, a relatively new phrase that I only came across recently. In the case of Olympéa Solar, those notes are Tiare Flower, White Flowers and Oakmoss which brings about freshness and settles the top notes before the base notes of Ylang-Ylang and Benzoin come through to give that sweet smooth almost caramel likeness, the Ylang-Ylang holding everything together to create a beautiful scent.
Olympéa Solar Paco Rabanne
I absolutely adore the original Olympéa and having tried both Legend and Aqua, I only have Blossom left to try from the series and if Solar is anything to go by, I need to try it sooner rather than later.

Olympéa Solar is packaged in a beautiful glass bottle whose description states that it is a circle of triumphant laurels surrounds the fragrance new bottle and its radiant intensity comes from a golden foliage pattern directly molded on the glass. This design has been inspired by paco rabanne fashion house and is notably similar to the rest of the brands bottles in this series.

Priced between £56 and £95 depending on the size of the bottle you choose, which incidentally is either 30ml, 50ml or 90ml.

Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox

With its inspiration being taken from the French Riviera, the June Edition of Glossybox with five beauty treats to prep you for summer days, you could even say the box has French themed products!
Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox
Whilst we are all longing for longer sunnier days, that summer heat, that as Brits we love to hate, most of us are currently enjoying the extended Bank Holiday to celebrate the Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen. The Glossybabes over at Glossy HQ want you to experiment with lustrous makeup and skincare goodies and within this box, which is worth over £80, you have just that!

The first item out of the box is from my favourites L’Occitane and it is the Shea Butter Hand Cream.
Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox
My all time favourite hand cream, it is enriched with 20% fair-trade shea butter as well as honey, almond and coconut oil. Added to that, there is also the inclusion and infusion of both jasmine and ylang-ylang essential oils. A beautifully light scented cream that leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturised.

The second product is from Ciate with their Bamboo Bronzer and I’m so glad to see a bronzer rather than a blusher in this box.
Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox
Described as being a virtually weightless face powder that creates a natural looking bronzed hue with soft matte finish. This bronzer is infused with nourishing botanicals such as Bamboo extract which helps to combat shine and regulate oil production. This is a bronzer which, despite its intense colour pigments gives you the opportunity to build it up to create your own custom coverage.

From Dr Eve R_Youth the third product, we have the Vitamin C Night Moisturiser.
Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox
Designed to brighten, plump, moisturise and revitalise your skin as you sleep, this product contains one of the best forms of vitamin C - L-ascorbic acid and working alongside ingredients such as Hyaluronic acid, Argan oil and Rose Oil it aims to brighten uneven skin tone and re-plump tired, dehydrated looking skin.

The next product is from Greenfrog Botanic and within the box we have a lemongrass soap.
Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox
Made with 90% natural ingredients, this soap is gentle yet refreshing and it leaves your skin feeling super clean, soft and moisturiser.

The final product within this box comes from Starskin VIP with a pair of The Gold Eye Mask.
Summer Rendezvous with Glossybox
These masks, which are crafted from gold foil-topped cellulose fabric, the innovative mask traps heat to lock in the concentrated serum, aiding absorption for effective results. The formula features 83% Rose of Jericho, known for its revitalising properties, Marshmallow works to soothe irritation for a calm and comfortable finish, then we have Butcher’s Broom which brightens the eye area and finally Butterfly Ginger which offers protection from blue light, supporting a radiant, youthful-looking appearance.

I absolutely love the  theme for the June edition of Glossybox and once again, it continues on from the last few months box of great boxes for 2022.

As you will all know by now, Glossybox is a beauty box subscription service and it costs as little as £11 per month here*. By subscribing to these boxes, it gives you the chance to get your hands on the Limited Edition boxes.

Introducing Tatcha!

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited for a sneak preview of the Tatcha range that has arrived here in the U.K. and is on sale at Space NK.
Tatcha has arrived in the UK
Like K-Beauty brands, Japanese skincare has caught the eye of so many people, not only because of the products available but because of their impressive ingredients and formulations - For Tatcha, this is just that.

Through their cult-favourite line, Tatcha has created a bridge between skincare and wellbeing for next level experience when doing your skincare routine. The brand is a reminder that the skin, brain and body are in constant communication.
