The Benefits of Online Nail Tech Training

If you're looking into the possibilities within Nail Tech Training, one of the biggest things to consider is whether to opt for a live, in-person programme or an online course.

Each format has its own advantages, and either one can be a great way to start your new career or business as a Nail Technician.

The Benefits of Online Nail Tech Training

The benefits of an in-person training programme may be more obvious, as these have been the typical way to learn new skills for many decades.

Since the arrival of the internet, however, a new industry of online training has flourished, largely because there are some great advantages to learning, studying and training online.

So, here we'll explore some of these advantages and review the many benefits of uplevelling your skills remotely.

Self-paced Learning

Whether you're looking to start with the basics or go all in with an advanced online nail course with kit included, one of the biggest advantages of online courses is that you can more easily go at the pace that is right for you.

We all learn at different paces and in varied ways, so being able to adapt your training programme to the study methods that work best for you can be a major benefit to your learning goals.

Location Flexibility

Another key benefit of online nail tech trainings is that you can learn and train from wherever you like. It's possible to complete your programme from the comfort of your home or your favourite workspace. Wherever you have the space to practice and a good internet connection, you can advance your skills, your way. This aspect can also help to keep costs down, as you won't need to budget for travel expenses to a live class, or accommodation if you were to opt for a training provider away from your local area.

Increased Options

When you opt for remote learning, it opens up a whole world of new options. For example, in-person training programmes are limited to certain times and locations, which may not be ideal or even possible for you. Whereas online options can be accessed from anywhere, so you don't need to be limited to your local options or have to travel to distant classes. This means that you can opt for the very best nail tech training possible, as the location is no longer an issue. If you find that the options in your local area aren't exactly what you're looking for, choosing an online programme means you can select from a much wider range of courses.

Reference Material

While learning in live classes can have its advantages, it can sometimes be challenging to remember all the things that your instructor teaches you during the training. One major advantage of remote courses that have a core curriculum online is that you have the material to keep as a reference. This means you can revisit the trainings any time, whether to deepen your understanding, repeat lessons as extra practice, or revisit later for a quick refresher.

Record of Achievement

With online nail tech trainings, the emphasis is on self-study using the trainings provided. Yet many courses also have an assessment element, so that you can receive feedback on your work. This will help you see how you're improving or understand which areas you may need to work on. While these assessments provide valuable insights into your training experience that will help you become a better nail technician, they also serve as a valuable record of your progress. It can be inspiring to see just how much you've improved when you compare your final assessments to your first attempts.

Advantages of In-Person Trainings

While improving your nail tech skills online can be a great option with all of the above benefits and more, there may be occasions when an in-person programme may be more suitable.

For example, if you know that you learn best in a live environment where you can interact with both your peers and your trainer, you may find that an in-person class is a better option for you. Or you might feel that the immediate feedback that you gain from live training is the ideal scenario for you, in which case you could benefit from live classes.

Taking your nail tech skills to the next level is an exciting and important step towards your vision of becoming successful in this popular industry. So, it's well worth taking the time to review the benefits of online training courses to see if they're the best fit for your goals, your lifestyle, and the way you learn best.

Lacura Peptide Lip Treatment - Rhode Dupe?

A product that adorns my social media feed is the Rhode's skin peptide lip treatment which has been a viral hit for years, and well as the title might suggest, Aldi has a product that might have been inspired by that product with their Lacura peptide lip treatment.
Lacura Peptide Lip Treatment - Rhode Dupe?
Priced at just £2.99 you could argue that it has been designed to rival Rhode's popular version, albeit it almost £15 cheaper. With its sleek grey design it does share some similarities with Rhode, both equally stylish and practical, and both feature 10ml of product making it the perfect size to fit in any bag or even a trouser pocket.

The applicator helpfully features a classic angled tip, making it easy to apply just like you would with a traditional lipstick.
Lacura Peptide Lip Treatment - Rhode Dupe?
From the ingredients I noticed in Rhode’s formula, Lacura’s peptide treatment includes the same shea butter, vitamin E-rich babassu oil, but rather than the one peptide, the Lacura version features two types of peptides. Both products feature 'palmitoyl tripeptide-1', which helps support and repair the skin, but Lacura adds 'palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7', which works to prevent collagen loss and stop signs of ageing.

Coat your lips with a layer of moisture with this Peptide Lip Treatment. With a combination of peptides, shea butter, capuacu butter and babassu, your lips will look softer and full with a super glossy finish. Whether on top of bare lips or over the top of your favourite lipstick or liner for a much-needed moisture boost, this lip balm is a makeup bag essential.

From Lacura, the peptide Lip Treatment is available in three options - Unscented, Watermelon and Salted Caramel whereas Rhode features one extra offering with Vanilla.

Whilst I am yet to try the Rhodes Peptide Lip Treatment, I have got the three Aldi Lacura ones and what I love about them is that each one feels nourishing without being heavy, and when paired with a matte lipstick, they add a lovely glossy shine.  Of the three, the Unscented option is perfect for those who just don't enjoy scented lip products, which would usually be my preference, but the Salted Caramel version smells delightful, very much how you expect a salted caramel latte would smell if I am to compare.  Then there is the Watermelon which smells like a sweet freshly cut watermelon and not at all synthetic.

Given the price of under £3, I can say that all three of these are wonderful to use, a non-sticky or tacky formula with no unpleasant aftertastes or artificial smells, making them a great alternative.
