Lotil Christmas Giftbox

Stocking Filler gift buying can be as much fun as shopping for regular presents and from Lotil, I have this very cute blue Lotil Christmas Giftbox.

If you have never come across Lotil before, it might shock you to learn that not only is it made here in the UK, but the hero product, the Lotil cream has been tried and tested for over 100 years and I was first introduced to it a few years ago and it is very much a cupboard staple.

The Lotil moisturising cream is a product recommended for use on all dry skin that you feel needs extreme repair and moisture.

Stocking Filler Gifts with Feather & Down

The Copenhagen Company - Scandi Christmas Medium Candle

When it comes to Christmas scents, for me the use of cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise and citrus peels remind me of Christmas Cake and it is at this time of the yeat when Christmas Candles really grab my attention.

Meet the Copenhagen Company, a family run business which is described as being The Home of Hygge Scents. Inspired by Founder Bo’s Danish roots and passion for fine fragrance, the collection includes an array of room sprays, diffusers and candles in a variety of sizes.  I was very kindly sent the Scandi Christmas Medium Candle and it has one of those scents you detect before the box has even been opened.

What I love about this candle is the description speaks for itself when you first see it packaged so beautifully inside its box and the gold lid really makes this a beautiful gift.

Transport yourself to a festive wonderland with this citrus led scent entwined with a blend of delicious spices including cinnamon and cloves, sweetened with a touch of vanilla and held together with the warm and woody notes of sandalwood and cedar.

The candle features top notes of Orange, Mandarin, Lemon and Red Fruits and those are the scents that grab your attention until the candle is unboxed and lit, it is a fresh citrus scent and just wonderful. As the candle is lit, those heart notes of Cinnamon and Clove take my back to the Christmas cake ingredients being mixed and steeped in a bowl, covered with a muslin cloth to marinate, strong enough to scent every room in the house, but then the earthy notes at the base of Sandalwood, Patchouli, Vanilla and Cedar bring about an aromatic sweetness whilst still allowing those top notes to work there magic.

This is a medium three wick candle, priced at just £18 and it has a burn time of approximately 30-35, depending on how often and for how long you burn it for. It has a natural wax blend and uses cotton wicks.
