Lookfantastic x Eve Lom Limited Edition Beauty Box 2022
In recent weeks, alongside the amazing value Advent Calendar, Lookfantastic has had boxes  with Clinique and Liz Earle, both of which have been a great introduction to each brand.

The Eve Lom box is worth over £181 and once it goes on sale it will be priced at £40.00 here. Below is a list of the products that you will find inside this box.

Contents:

  • Foaming Cleanser 20ml & Cloth – worth £18.00
  • Moisture Cream Deluxe 8ml – worth £14.67

A really good mixture of products and I am glad to see the Rescue Mask included as it is one of my favourites from the brand. The Lookfantastic  x Eve Lom Box will be available at lookfantastic.com and priced at £35.

Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Collection

Pacifica is a new brand within my stash and it is described as being 'an accessible wellness brand with a commitment to our planet (and the animals that inhabit it) at its core'. It is 100% vegan and cruelty-free, and has a product catalogue which features everything from body care and skin care to makeup and hair care.
Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Collection
The collection I have been getting to know is the Vegan Ceramide collection, namely these three products shown above. Subtitled as being a collection for Moisture Barrier Care, the three products can be used together to create a simple, fuss-free skincare routine.

Starting with the Vegan Ceramide Extra Gentle Face Wash (£12) which is described as being a super gentle and fragrance-free wash,it is the first product to be used within this three-step skin care routine.
Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Collection
What I have found with the products I've tried from Pacifica is that each one of them has a 'star of the show' ingredient and in the case of this collection, the star of the show is said to be Pacifica’s plant-based lipid that works to restore the protective barrier function of your skin. The role of this face wash is to remove dirt, make up and impurities without stripping your skin and to do that it uses ingredients such as Marshmallow Root extract which helps soothe and smooth your skin skin and alongside it is Calendula which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties as well as its ability to help calm redness and inflammation.

What I really like about this face wash is just how gentle it is, though effective. It does foam slightly when it comes into contact with water, but without leaving your skin feeling stripped of moisture.

The second product from this range is the Vegan Ceramide Barrier Face Lotion (£16). Described as being a lightweight and fragrance-free, this ceramide-fuelled face lotion helps to moisturise, calm and smooth.
Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Collection
Again, alongside Pacifica’s plant-based lipid that works to restore the protective barrier function of your skin, you will find the inclusion of Marshmallow root, chamomile and calendula help soothe and smooth and with it comes anti-oxident rich sunflower oil and chamomile which together gives you a lotion that hydrates, protects and smooths too.

For me, my skin is combination oily but with dryness on my cheeks and around my nose. The dryness isn't constant, so there is no one solution to keeping my skin happy, but what I have found with this Lotion is that it really does help to hydrate the skin. When you have used a product which is quite drying and it leaves your skin in need of anything to add moisture, this is one of those products, my skin literally drinks it up.

The final product within this trio is the Vegan Ceramide Barrier Facial Oil (£20) and it is my favourite product of the three. Described as being a ceramide-fuelled facial oil which is the skin saviour you’ve been waiting for, it makes quick work of dry patches and dull-looking complexions. So essentially my skin in a nutshell!
Again within this facial oil we have the Pacifica’s plant-based lipid that works to restore the protective barrier function of your skin and working alongside it is anti-oxidant rich sunflower oil for its hydrating properties. As with the other two products within this range, there is also the infusion of calming and soothing calendula and marshmallow root extract.

The oil itself isn't greasy or slimy and it comes with a dropper to ensure you get the right amount of drops - the advice being 3-4 for use on the face, chest and/or neck. I have also used this oil on my elbows and shins accidentally because I picked up the wrong oil, however, it has worked like a treat on patches of dry skin which I always get from wearing chunky tights - that said Pacifica does have a really intriguing sounding Body Milk Spray which I have my eye on.

The entire Pacifica range can be found via Cult Beauty with prices starting from £5!
