Jo Malone Beauty Advent Calendar 2022

When it comes to elegance, Jo Malone always presents one of the most stunning Advent Calendars in what is a classic but understated design that would look incredible in any setting.  

For 2022, the Jo Malone Advent Calendar is said to be based on a jewellery box that can be refilled and reused. The 2021 Advent Calendar sold out in record time, so if this is the one you have been waiting for, then there is a list to join.

Inside this year's JO Malone Calendar will be 25 gifts which range from colognes and cologne intense, seasonal favourites for the home, snow-inspired decorations and there will also be a 30ml cologne in one of the brand’s most loved fragrances.

The calendar is set to launch at the end of September at Jo Malone London and it will retail for £335, slightly up on last years offering of £325 but you are getting one extra gift.

I have to admit, if money wasn't an object, then I would buy this Advent Calendar in a heartbeat, not only does it feature my favourite Red Roses scent but I really want to try Scarlet Poppy Cologne Intense, which sounds delightful.

Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar 2022 Reveal

Having shared the news that the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar is coming back for 2022, I can share the details of everything you need to know.

Liberty is one of my favourite beauty halls to go and spend some time browsing because they have so many amazing brands - Votary, Susanne Kaufmann, Omorovicza, Hourglass, Kiehls and that is before you even get to the fragrance section.

For 2022, The Liberty London Beauty Advent Calendar is priced at £245 which is up £20 on 2021 but the contents are worth a massive £1065 plus, five calendars will also have a £1,000 voucher inside them!

Once again for 2022, I am delighted to see that Liberty London has announced that there is to be a Liberty London Men’s Advent Calendar and it is worth over £800.

Priced at £235.00, there will be early access given to those who subscribe to The Beauty Drop on 27th September as with the other Liberty Advent Calendar and again, it will go on general sale 28th September.

Fenty Skin - The Body Duo

Aside from an incredible makeup collection, Fenty Beauty also has a skincare collection not to be missed and despite my obsession with Fat Water, new to my stash is The Body Duo.

The Body Duo is made up of two mini Fenty Skin products - The Body Scrub called Buff Ryder and then Butta Drop Body Moisturiser which together make quite the duo.

Get Caribbean skin straight from your shower. These mini Fenty Skin essentials are the perfect pair, giving you everything you need for smooth, hydrated, and glowing skin just in time for that hot getaway.

Packaged in the tell-tale purple coloured bottle and tub, whether or not you have a holiday booked, these two products are incredible together or on their own. 

Starting with Butta Drop which is described as being a Whipped Oil Body Cream with Tropical Oils, not only does it contain Mango and Shea Butter but alongside those you will also find 7 luxurious oils - Kalahari Melon, Sorrel, Baobab, Sunflower, Rice Bran, Coconut and Jojoba to nourish and moisturise the skin.

On the skin, what I absolutely love about Butta Drop is the texture, it is whipped so it isn't too heavy but it is also not too lightweight either. When applied to the skin, it melts on contact and isn't greasy, nor is it tacky or sticky, it absorbs and that's it, all it leaves behind is beautifully soft, nourished feeling skin. Now I just need a barrel of it to sit in!

If your skin is in need of some exfoliation, then the Buff Ryder Exfoliating Body Scrub is the one you need to be reaching for!

Made with Sugar, salt, and superfine sand to form a gentle, but really effective, exfoliating emulsion that isn't so abrasive it scratches the surface of the skin, but it is a texture that you definitely know is working its magic. Add to that there is a host of other amazing ingredients such as cherry to condition and soften, coconut oil which hydrates, softens and infuses skin with rich fatty acids, and then come the fruit enzymes such as pomegranate, papaya, and pineapple to help exfoliate the skin.

I really like the texture of this scrub and despite it being presented within a tube, it is easy to squeeze to extract the scrub as the tube isn't too rigid it is impossible to squeeze, that said, I do think the scrub would be better in a tub.
