Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar 2022

The Ciate Advent Calendar is back for 2022 and this year it is a special one because it is the 10th anniversary of the iconic Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar.

As you can see, the Advent Calendar is made up of 23 mini plant-based polishes in shades that have not been seen before, plus there is also a special Christmas Eve treat.  These polishes are made from 80% natural ingredients which help to rejuvenate, strengthen and repair, designed to give a high gloss finish the bottles are made from recycled glass with a recyclable cap.

This year the Ciate Mini Mani Month Advent Calendar is priced at £65, making it £6 more than 2021 but as it is a special edition this year, it is great value for money.

As yet there has been no shared release date,  nor the shades of polish inside the Advent Calendar, but there is a waiting list which can be found here.  As soon as more information is released, I will share it here.

Kiehl’s Beauty Advent Calendar 2022 - On Sale

Kiehls have announced their Beauty Advent Calendar for 2022 and this is always one of those Calendars that you can share with your better half.  Plus, it is on sale right now!

Featuring a very funky 3D style, this Advent Calendar has been created by London and Cape Town-based animation studio, Made by Radio. It is a 24 day Calendar and as you can see, it features some of Kiehl’s most loved products and it includes cleansers, face, masks, facial serums, moisturisers and a whole lot more.

This Calendar will be priced at £99 and it launches around 14th September with Kiehl's and most likely Selfridges.  As always, if you are not wanting to see any of the contents of this Advent Calendar, then please don't scroll down anything further.

Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar's 2022

Rituals has announced their three Rituals Advent Calendars for 2022. Three advent calendars are a 2D Calendar a 3D Calendar and then there is also a Premium Advent Calendar to complete the trio.  If you are a fan of Rituals, the Advent Calendars have just gone on sale.

For 2021, the offering from Rituals was the choice of a 2D or 3D Advent Calendar, so to include a Premium option is quite exciting.

Athletia Treatment Cleansing Oil

I have become obsessed with the brand I am sharing with you today - Athletia.  Althetia has an incredible list of products within their catalogue from skincare and body care to hair care and room mists and I have 3 more products to share and having already shared the Aroma Mist, the next product I am sharing is the Athletia Treatment Cleansing Oil. Described as being a makeup removing cleanser with natural botanical oils to melt and efficiently remove makeup and impurities whilst moisturising and smoothing.

I am a bit obsessed when it comes to Cleansing products and anyone who knows me, will know that it is the favourite part of my skincare routine, whether that is first thing in the morning or better still, the first thing I do when I get home, to wash away the entire day off my face.  

With this cleansing oil from Athletia, because it is oil based, you need no more than 3 maybe 4 pumps onto dry palms before applying to your skin. As you do this, those natural oils are the ones to grab your attention, which is saying something as my sense of smell is not back to 100% after having Covid, so the fact I can grasp the notes of this oil is quite something.  As this is an oil based cleanser, it will be runnier than your balms, gels and creams but the need to use less than you might do with a balm is definitely a plus point.

On the skin, what I love is the texture of this oil, it isn't slimy or greasy, instead it is incredibly smooth though rich, so once it emulsifies and it does an incredible job at removing everything in its path, even Waterproof Mascara, all without the need to overly rub the skin or your eyes.

As you might expect from Athletia, this cleansing oils contains 6 botanical oils, one of which is carrot oil which makes it the bright orange colour. Aside from the botanical oils, for me, it is those uplifting scents of juicy grapefruit and lemon, invigorating juniper berry and eucalyptus which make this Cleansing Oil special. Whether you need to relax and unwind, de-stress or just take a moment, once you have this cleansing oil warmed between your palms, breathe in those amazing uplifting scents.

Paraben free, silicone free and mineral oil free, if you are in the market for a new cleansing oil, then this is one not to be sniffed at. Priced at £42 here.
