Disciple Clean & Serene

New to my skincare collection is Disciple and having seen the brand all over my social media feed for a very long time with people raving about it, I was delighted to be asked if I would like to try a few products.

Cleansing just happens to be my favourite skincare step of my routine and whether it is a balm, gel or even an oil, I love finding new ones to try.

The brand if you didn’t know, was created for stressed-out skin by a lady called Charlotte Ferguson who is a psychotherapist and fountain of skin knowledge. Disciple skincare as a brand is described as being perfect for addressing inflammatory skin issues, including blemishes, eczema and premature ageing. It is so good that it is hand-blended in small batches from the best raw botanical ingredients, these adaptogen-rich formulas work not only on the surface of the skin but internally too, improving your body’s ability to adapt to stress and helping to rebalance hormones.

To that end, the first product I am sharing with you is Clean & Serene, a name that really does describe this beauty perfectly.

Your stress-free, gentle daily face wash. A mini morning detox, without stripping the skin. SLS-free and packed with rejuvenating Melon juice, detoxifying Grapefruit plus naturally occurring Vitamin C from Papaya fruit to brighten and tone.

Packaged in this most brilliant emerald green glass bottle, the daily cleansing gel is gentle on the skin, doesn’t leave it feel stripped or taut after using and as it seeks to remove overnight buildup and sebum, it’s a delight to use.

It is infused with a whole host of amazing fruit derived ingredients such as melon, grapefruit and papaya extracts, all of which offer their antioxidant powers designed to help boost the skin’s resilience to environmental aggressors as well as to rejuvenate, detoxify, brighten and tone.

TOYL - The Ultimate Body Box

The July TOYL Beauty Box has arrived and it is titled The Ultimate Body Box!

The first product out of the box comes from Aromatherapy Associates with the De-stress cooling muscle gel.

This body gel works to help ease sore and aching muscles after a long day at work or an intense workout. It uses the essential oils from Rosemary, Black Pepper, Lavender and Ginger which work to instantly cool and warm those aches and pains while at the same time hydrating and softening the skin.

The second product is from a brand I’ve never heard of until now and it is the Stone Street Soaphouse with their Geranimo Wholesome Body Cream.

Natural and cruelty free, this body cream promises to hydrate with no greasy feeling. Using nourishing oils such as jojoba, argan, and almond it has a wonderfully smooth texture and the most wonderful geranium scent, it might just encourage me to use the full tub.

Up next from Mudmasky is a product I’ve never even given a thought to needing, but it intrigues me and that is the Saved by the Scrub for Underarms.

This 100% vegan underarm scrub used 5 natural ingredients to keep your armpits fresh for up to 16 hours. The formula uses Premium Kaolin Clay whose job it is to suck out the bacteria and remove dead skin cell and re-used coffee power to neutralise smells. 

The next product is from This Works with their Stress Check CBD Body Polish.

This scrub is described as being a natural exfoliator that utilises lactic acid and pumice to buff away dead skin and daily debris. The combination helps to not only decongest clogged pores but to also reveal a skin tone that is more even with a softer texture and looking more visibly radiant. You will also find a hemp-derived pure CBD Isolate alongside squalane and vitamin E which aid in replenishing moisture, then there is a soothing blend of essential oils -ylang-ylang, lavender and neroli, all of which help you to relax, unwind and de-stress.

The fifth product is the Dr. PAWPAW Age Renewal Hand Cream and you can never have too many tubes of hand creams in my view.

Lightweight in texture, this hand cream is formulated with a botanical blend that is designed for hands which are dry, dull or ageing skin. Using PawPaw Fruit Extract, which is described as being a multitalented ingredient, it helps to brighten, calm and moisturise the skin. Then we have Aloe Vera, an all round hero ingredient which is known for its anti-inflammatory abilities, it also helps to cool the complexion, reduce redness and soothe irritation. Olive Oil works to lock in this moisture, while Colloidal Oatmeal provides antioxidant protection as it safeguards the skin against harmful environmental aggressors. 

The final product is the BeautyPro Foot Therapy Collagen Infused Bootie with Removable Toe Tip.

I am a huge fan of masks from BeautyPro and I can never recommends enough just how useful foot masks are, especially, if like me you really don’t like feet. This mask is described as being an innovative, dual-function foot mask that hydrates and nourishes feet in need. These single-use socks are designed to instantly delivering an anti-ageing cocktail of ingredients and they include the likes of Marine Collagen, Shea Butter and Vitamin E which moisturise and thoroughly nourish the skin, whilst the inclusion of Peppermint ensures your feet are left feeling refreshed.

Cult Beauty is really going for it with their beauty boxes right now! Having shared The Lip Edit recently, now is the turn of The Repair Edit.
