Glossybox March Edit - Glossy Wonderland

Moving on from last months TImeless Treasures, the March Edit of Glossybox has arrived and this month we are being asked to step into a Glossy Wonderland where you can explore your playful side because the world of beauty is fun. 

So this month featuring everything from magical makeup to sweet scented shower treats, you will find five full sized products bring a vale to this box over £65.

The first product from my box comes from a brand called Elikya with their Rose Liquid Highlighter.

Described as being an all natural highlighter that is enriched with essential hibiscus oil.  On this skin, this highlighter is so lightweight, it has a subtle pink shimmer which I really like, but best of all, depending on your preference, you can mix a few drops into your foundation to give that sunkissed glow too.

The second product in this months box comes from KNDR Beauty with their Mood Stick Lipstick.

Proudly claiming that this is no ordinary lipstick, it is a colour shifting lipstick which transforms from the shade Never Blue to a pH perfect pink tone for your lips. It also has a sheer luxe finish which is really hydrating, quite similar to that of a lip balm.

From James Read Tan for the third product in this months box, we have the Sleep Body Mask.

Described as being the product to help you develop a natural-looking sun kissed glow, it develops through the night when your skin is at its most receptive hours and transform into a light sun kissed hue which can be built upon for a more intense colour, so that be your wish.  This formula is a fast-dry formula and because it is colourless, it also doesn't stain the bed sheets or your pj's!

Up next from Magnitone we have the WIPEOUT! Microfibre Cleansing Cloth which should help you ditch those wasteful wipes.

I stopped using wipes longer ago than I care to remember, I don't even use them to remove makeup swatches off my skin.  These Cleansing Cloths are incredibly soft to the touch and are said to have the ability, with just warm water, to remove even the toughest of makeup.  Once you have used the cloth, you can wash and re-use thousands of times.

The final item in this months box is one of two different products. You will either find Bubble T Cosmetics Peony and Cherry Blossom Body Wash or the product that I found hiding inside by box which is the Bilou Shower Foam.

With the Bilou Shower Foam there is four different options that have been put into the boxes, so you will either get Coco Cocktail, Tasty Donut, Pink Melon or Fizzy Berry.  I have Coco Cocktail which describes itself as smelling just like Tropical Paradise. It has hints of creamy coconut and tropical Madagascan Vanilla alongside Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera and Avocado Oil too. 

For me, once again, I have absolutely loved the theme of this months Glossybox and continuing on from last months box, they have produced three very good boxes for 2022.

Skinceuticals Gentle Cleanser Cream

After having Covid, my skin really was not happy and in many respects still isn't. I have always had combination/oily skin and have learnt to accept that whilst I am never going to be shine free and have insta-perfect skin, there is products I can use to keep the shine down to a minimal along with blemishes and everything else. That said, my skin has become quite dry, so I changed my routine slightly to accommodate products that are said to help with dryness and one of those is the Skinceuticals Gentle Cleanser Cream.

If you read my blog regularly enough, you will know that I am a bit of a fan of cleansing. SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser is described as being a delicate cream cleanser that works on sensitive, dry and normal skin types. It is also a product which can be used several times throughout the day without irritating the skin and it works to soothe any sensitive or traumatised skin. So it definitely ticked the boxes that I needed.

On the skin, this cleanser, which helpfully comes in a pump action bottle, is really creamy and isn't designed to foam, but when it comes into contact with water, the creaminess does become more of a milky texture. It is a very delicate cream cleanser that doesn't dry out or strip the strip the skin but it does an impressive job at removing excess oil which sits on the surface of the skin, as well as remove your makeup, though I can't comment on eye makeup, as I always use eye makeup remover.

This product also removes any excess oil, which, if like me you have that combination oily skin, it is very much needed. After using, what I loved was how soft my skin felt to the touch without feeling dry and for me, when using a cleanser, I want a product which not only cleanses my skin, but also one which doesn't leave it feeling stripped or taut.

This cleanser does have a really nice scent to it, this comes from the inclusion of Orange Peel Oil and its job is to act as an antibacterial ingredient for the skin and then we also have Glycerin which is great for hydration as well as nourishment and skin soothing. 

Overall, I have absolutely loved using this cleanser, I love how it leaves my skin feeling after using it and priced at £38 for me, it is worth every single penny.  This is the first product iI'e used with Skinceuticals and it has made me want to try absolutely everything else the range has to offer!
