Ecooking Peeling Mask and Moisturising Mask Set

I am a big fan of the brand Ecooking and have been since I was first introduced to the brand a few years ago. In that time they have grown from having a catalogue of just a few products to one which is now quite substantial. Ecooking was founded by Tina Søgaard who started out by hand-mixing raw ingredients at her kitchen table to create skin care for herself, then for her family and friends who had noticed the results from the formulations.
Ecooking Peeling Mask and Moisturising Mask Set
ECooking which stands for Eco and Cooking was born. Eco referring to ecological and organic and Cooking refers to the fact that everything has been developed at home in the kitchen, features everything within its range from lip balms and serums to hair care and problem solvers and I am told they have also ventured into the market of makeup which I find very exciting.

Ecooking Peeling Mask and Moisturising Mask Set
The gift set I am sharing with you today is the Peeling and Moisturising Mask Set RRP £39 (normally £64) which comes beautifully packaged and presented inside a Vegan gift box.
Perfect for yourself or a loved one, this skincare gift set helps to leave skin smooth and radiant. The Peeling Mask and Moisturising Mask guarantees brighter, more even skin.
If you are a fan of facemasks or know someone who is, then this is a great duo of masks to try.

The Set Contains:

Peeling Mask (50ml) - This Peeling mask features the incredible trio of Lactic, Salicylic and Glycolic Acid and it is an incredible weekly treatment which is tasked with expertly buffing away dead, dry and dull skin cells to reveal a much smoother and more radiant visage.
Ecooking Peeling Mask and Moisturising Mask Set
Using natural plant extracts and antioxidant Vitamin E which work in tandem to deliver firming and anti-ageing benefits; they not only help to minimise the appearance of lines and wrinkles, but they also help with tightening skin and enhancing luminosity. The overall result is that this miracle mask will leave the skin feeling softer and more refined but also gives you a really healthy-looking glow.

Moisturizing Mask (50ml) - If hydration is what you crave, then this is the mask you need. Described as being an extremely hydrating face mask, it is enriched with a blend of organic Shea Butter, organic Glycerin, organic Vitamin E and organic Sunflower Oil, plus Hyaluronic Acid to lock in moisture. If that isn't enough, you will also find the inclusion of organic sesame oil, mandarin oil and almond oil too.
Ecooking Peeling Mask and Moisturising Mask Set
As this mask is designed to deliver an intensive surge of moisture, the mask can be used in two different ways depending on the needs of your skin.  The first way tp use this mask is to apply an even layer to the skin and leave it to work for around 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water.  If you feel your skin needs a bit more TLC, then you can apply a much thinner layer to your skin and leave it on overnight to replenish and condition the complexion.

I absolutely love both of these masks and have done ever since I was introduced to them some time ago, whatever your skincare needs, Ecooking has a great selection of products which are Vegan and dermatologically tested.

The Peeling and Moisturising Mask Set can be found via Lookfantastic and is priced at just £30.

The Body Shop Bath time Christmas Gifts under £25

Inside the festively designed box is a total of three products which are all wonderfully scented. Inside you will find:
  • Strawberry Body Yoghurt 200ml
  • Berry Bath Blend 250ml
  • Oval Bath Sponge
The Berry Bath Blend is designed to leave your skin feeling incredibly hydrated, nourished and moisturised and it is has notes of wild strawberry, oat milk, praline and vanilla. As soon as it comes into contact with the bath water, of which it changes to a beautifully bright shade of reddy pink which I am guessing comes from the beetroot extract, the strawberry scent comes to life and with it there is a slight hint of that praline which keeps the vanilla in line and stops it from becoming too dominant.  Alongside the Berry Bath Blend there is also an oval bath sponge which is designed to help with exfoliation.  The finally, once out of the bath, whether you choose to towel dry or not, you can apply the Strawberry Body Yoghurt and alongside the Strawberry extract there is also the inclusion of organic almond milk and on the skin, the texture is quite yoghurt like, but without the 'bits' and it absorbs so quickly into the skin and leaves behind no greasy film but it does leave an incredible scent.

You can find this gift set for £22 with The Body Shop.

The final gift set I am sharing withing this part of my gift set is hair care and I make no secret of the fact that I absolutely love hair care from The Body Shop, particularly the Ginger Collection.  This time it is Banana Bliss Haircare (£20).  This collection is said to be for the person who is wanting to have smoother-looking locks this Christmas, if it is you, then this is the answer to those is dry, frizz-prone hair woes.
The Body Shop Bath time Christmas Gifts under £25
This collection is made with 91% ingredients of natural origin which organic banana puree alongside Vegan Silk Protein, this is a 100% plant-based protein, it works to cleverly replicate the chemical structure of natural silk which is produced by the common European garden spider.

Inside the gift set, you will find:
  • Banana Shampoo 250ml
  • Banana Conditioner 250ml
  • Microfiber Hair Wrap
As you can imagine, this due of shampoo and conditioner smell exceptionally banana like, as you would expect and what I really love is just how smooth both products are, by that I mean, they are lightweight on the hair, they don't weight my hair down and they leave it feeling soft after using, without that gimmicky plastic feeling.  Then if that isn't enough, once your hair is washed and conditioned, there is the inclusion of a Microfiber Hair wrap too.

You can find this gift set for £20 with The Body Shop.

So there is my The Body Shop Bath time Christmas Gift Guide for products priced under £25. Does anything grab your fancy?

Skinsense by Abi Cleeve - 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection

Skinsense is described as being a modern, effective and logical skincare created by beauty expert Abi Cleeve, a name you might be more familiar with when it comes to the sun protection brand Ultrasun. Described as being a brand which was born out of a vision to bring together groundbreaking technology with the highest grade concentration of unique active ingredients in order to successfully improve the skin’s appearance and tackle the signs of ageing.  In this post, I am sharing the 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection which is an amazing gift set.
Skinsense by Abi Cleeve - 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection
This hydration infusion collection contains one of skinSense’s newest launches, the Bi-Phase Cell Renewal Serum, which uses an innovative infusion technology to deliver thirst-quenching actives to dry skin. Alongside the serum, these treatments are designed to fight perpetual skin dehydration and dullness through what is described as being a long-lasting, slow-release moisture. Expect to see the likes of hyaluronic acid, vegan collagen and innovative plant extracts which when combined help to plump the skin’s texture, promote glow and through advanced moisturisation, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The first product is the Hydranet Day Cream and it is designed to protect the skin from external aggressors which includes both air and water borne pollutants.
Skinsense by Abi Cleeve - 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection
Dermatologically tested, this is a really lightweight cream whose job is to nourish the skin and provide continuous hydration throughout the day. It utilises lamellar technology which is often found in suncare, plus Linefill, which is a powerful complex derived from sesame seed and along with it we have Hydra-Protect Complex and this is a combination of hydrating ingredients such as Barbary Fig Seed Oil and Hyaluronic acid which work to maintain moisture levels.

On the skin, this cream which feels like a primer given its texture and on the skin for me, there is a slight blurring of imperfections which I hadn't expected and it feels absolutely wonderful as it massaged onto the skin, no greasy film, no need to massage into the skin for an age after application. Just soft, smooth skin to the touch.

If the day cream sounds amazing, which it is, then in this gift set we also have the Hydranet Night Cream.  Described as being perfect for restoring lost energy and hydration to the skin, this intensive night cream gets to work whilst you sleep.
Skinsense by Abi Cleeve - 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection
This fast absorbing lightweight cream is no-greasy when applied to the skin. It is formulated using a combination of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids which not only work to aid the skins recovery whilst you sleep. As with the day cream, this night cream also utilises lamellar technology and Linefill, a powerful complex derived from sesame seed to help maintain natural moisture levels and rejuvenate skin’s appearance through the night, alongside which there is also the inclusion of hyaluronic acid, white birch tree bark extract, rosemary leaf extract, collagen and sweet almond oil, which is quite the list of ingredients to leave your skin feeling incredible!

Could there be a gift set without the inclusion of an eye cream? Well not for skinSense and within this kit we have the Hydranet Eye Concentrate.
Skinsense by Abi Cleeve - 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection
I am really picky with my eye creams and serums, it is all about the texture as it is being applied and then how it feels immediately afterwards. From skinSense this product is described as being a deeply nourishing Eye Concentrate which not only delivers long-lasting moisture but it also helps reduce the appearance of redness and puffiness to the delicate eye area. From my eye creams and serums, I want a product that does deliver moisture as it is always somewhere that is dehydrated. Within this formula, the inclusion of sweet almond oil, jojoba oil and shea butter which is what gives this cream its silky texture and formula and it is also what is said to ensure your eyes look and feel bright.

My favourite product within this set is the Bi-Phase Cell Renewal Serum and its job is to strengthen, brighten and hydrate the skin.
Skinsense by Abi Cleeve - 4 Piece Hydration Infusion Collection
Really light on the skin when applied, this serum features a mix of plant based actives that prepare, protect and regenerate the skin’s natural barrier function. Suitable for all skin types, this Bi-Phase serum fluid works to give the skin a more more radiant appearance and it delivers moisture to the skin in two phases: a soothing oil and an infusing water, which need to be mixed together through the shaking of the bottle. The hydrating water phase is infused with probiotic and anti-pollution actives as well as Tremella mushroom extract stimulates collagen production and smooths rough skin, when shaken it is combined with almond, rice and avocado oils.

I find that I need just two pumps of this serum into the palm of my hand is more than enough to massage onto my face, neck and décolleté.

This is an incredible collection of skincare and as a gift set, it makes such a good introduction to skinSense as a brand, ideal for anyone who feels their skin is in need of hydration, nourishment and soothing.

Worth over £110, this set is currently on offer for just £46 with skinSense.
