IT COSMETICS NEWNESS AT QVC UK

I am a big fan of IT Cosmetics the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil-Free Matte which I wear pretty much every day if I’m not wearing a tinted moisturiser, I’ve lost count of the number of tubes I’ve gone through. I recently received a really lovely gift of products from the brand which are on sale on QVC, so I thought I would share them in this post and then do an update on everything I haven’t tried.

First up out of the box are two products I am a huge fan of - the Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil-Free Matte and the Your Skin But Better Setting Spray which form part of a Christmas set with Superstar Flawless Foundation Brush. This set is priced at £46.98. This set contains three full-sized products and you do get to choose your choice of shade, from the 12 available for the Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil Free Matte SPF40. As I have said, I am a huge fan of the CC+ Oil-Free Matte and was matched to the shade fair-light which works perfectly for me. On the skin, it is has a texture which isn't too thick, it blends really easily and it is really hydrating on the skin. 

The Your Skin But Better Setting Spray is one I have now repurchased a few times because I love the formula as much as my skin does. Infused with Coconut Water, Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera this setting spray does a great job at looking after your skin as it does to prolong the wear time of your makeup without drying out your skin.  

The one product I hadn't tried from It Cosmetics is any of their brushes and I just love the look of the Superstar Flawless Foundation Brush. This Foundation Brush for 2021 is described as being a custom-designed make-up tool to help ensure precision control. I absolutely love that it has the most incredible confetti designed handle and a stunning looking star-shaped brush, the bristles of which are incredibly soft and they are not only designed to reach every corner of your complexion, but to also deliver effortless application of liquid, cream and powder foundations and concealers. On its own, this brush is priced at £30!

Having never tried the brushes from It Cosmetics, also within the box is the Celebrate Your Heavenly Luxe On-the-Go Brushes set which are priced at £25. Alongside the exclusive travel pouch within which these brushes are housed, there is a trio of mini brushes which includes a mini Foundation Brush, a Mini Multi Powder Brush and a Mini Concealer Brush, all of which are supersoft and feature rose gold ferrules and handles to give them that Luxe detail.  A set of brushes every makeup fan needs to have with them in their collection.

The final offering I have for you comes in the form of skincare with the new Bye Bye Serums and I have seen so many people raving about just how good they are, so I am excited to try them out before sharing my thoughts and views on them with you. 

There is a total of four serums within the collection and they are priced at a very reasonable £18 each, the one thing with a serum is that they tend to be the most expensive part of your skincare routine and the one I have just finished costs £130 for 15ml!

Within the serum collection is 

• Bye Bye Dark Spots - formulated with 4% niacinamide and 1% ethyl vitamin C, this serum helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and discoloration while helping to improve the look of your skin’s clarity
• Bye Bye Dullness - formulated with 15% pure vitamin C and vitamin E, this formula helps boost radiance while giving skin a rested look and protecting it from external aggressors. Suitable for all skin types
• Bye Bye Lines - formulated with 1.5% hyaluronic acid and helps deliver hydration to your skin, leaving it feeling smooth and supple while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• Bye Bye Pores - formulated with 10% glycolic acid, this formulas helps minimise the appearance of pores while exfoliating to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth

This is an incredible collection of products which any beauty fan would be lucky to find under their tree this Christmas, my own included.  If It Cosmetics isn't a brand you are too familiar with, it is an award-winning make-up brand which hails from the US, their products are developed with plastic surgeons and dermatologists and they seek to create products that are game-changing in the beauty industry and when in the hands of real women become life-changing.

You might remember a post on my blog from a few weeks back when I shared an update on my kitchen renovation and some little touches I had added to the wall from Poster Store. Skincare by Steamcream

So what do you use Steamcream for?

Steamcream is a face cream, a luxurious body cream and even a hand cream which has been designed to deliver moisture directly to the skin. 

It is formulated using natural skin-softening ingredients such as ground oats (colloidal oatmeal) which are are rich in amino acids with highly moisturising properties alongside the likes of almond oil and jojoba oil which have fatty acids similar to sebum, cocoa butter which is rich in oleic acid and finally Lavender, Neroli, Chamomile and Rose essential oils.

The cream is incredibly lightweight on the skin and it smells as Wdelightful as you would expect given those oils above, for those who aren’t too keen on the scent of Lavender shouldn’t worry too much because it isn’t the most dominant scent, though it is detectable. 

The tin that I have is called Winter Delight and the picture depicts a family wearing their Christmas jumpers hanging baubles making it look really festive.

My original Steamcream tin houses my fuses for my kettle, microwave etc… the perfect size without taking up too much space.
