The Body Shop Hand and Body Gift Sets

I did mention that I had a whole lot of gift sets to share from The Body Shop and they will be featured in different priced bundles, but there is something for every budget. Today it is Stocking Fillers for the Hands and Body.

The first gift set is the Feels & Festivity Hand Cream Trio (£15) and then we also have the Creamy & Christmassy Body Butter Trio (£15).

This Feels & Festivity Hand Cream Trio  Christmas gift set comes with three gorgeously scented Hand Creams with Kindness & Pears, Love & Plums and finally Joy & Jasmine, of which make up The Body Shop seasonal fragrances that I have shared. 

Kindness & Pears is enriched with pear extract and has a wonderfully sweet scent. The advice to use these hand creams is to squeeze a small dollop of the cream into your palm and massage into skin and nails to leave them feeling smoother, softer and hydrated with 48hr moisture. Each of these hand creams is also Vegan.

Then with the Creamy & Christmassy Body Butter Trio, we have three tubs of body butter which match the scents of the hand creams above.

Once again, these body creams are Vegan and they are made with 96% ingredients of natural origin and this includes Community Fair Trade shea butter and then Cocoa Butter, both of which leave the skin feeling loved, softened and nourished with the promise of 96hr moisture.

Again, as with the hand creams above, we have Kindness & Pears which is enriched with pear extract as well as the vibrant and fruity notes of juicy pear, strawberry and warm tonka bean which really give it that feel good fragrance. Then with Love & Plums which is enriched with plum extract and alongside that we have those rich, bright, fruity-floral notes of plum sorbet, peony and finally comforting musk which again gives this cream a lovely luxe formula which melts onto the skin. Then once again, my favourite of the three is Joy & Jasmine which is enriched with jasmine extract which gives it a lovely floral scent it added to which we have the fresh, light floral notes of orange flower, rose and sensual jasmine and it is the longest lasting scent of the three and it’s just delightful.

Bath & Body Works Twisted Peppermint Collection

Ever since I shared the news that Next has score an absolute blinder by bringing Bath & Body Works back to the U.K., I couldn’t wait to find a store that I could visit to see them on display. So a few weekends ago, I went off to Westfield in Shepherds Bush to see the collection for myself.

On the store there was a decent sized selection of body sprays, candles, soaps and the aromatherapy selection and a few more bits. The lady who greeted us like long lost friends, also told us that there was a whole lot of Christmas sets coming and that the Black Friday sale would be amazing.

So what did I purchase? As well as Stress Relief Shower Gel, which I absolutely love. I bought the Twisted Peppermint Shower Gel and Whipped Confetti Body Scrub to match the Hand Soap I already had.

Sleigh away the day and nestle up at night into a magical winter wonderland. Our dermatologist-tested Shower Gel combines nourishing vitamin E and aloe to create a rich, bubbly lather. Gentle and non-drying, it's the perfect daily cleanser to leave skin feeling fresh and clean!

The fragrance of these products, as you can imagine is very minty and it uses a blend of cool peppermint, sugared snow, vanilla buttercream and fresh balsam.

The Twisted Peppermint Shower Gel which has a wonderfully potent scent to it, lathers really quickly when it comes into contact with warm water.

What I love about the shower gel is that as well as being tingly on the skin, though we are not talking Original Source depths of tingle, it doesn’t make you feel chilly. After showering, my skin is scented of peppermint for an hour or two after getting dressed and it is a fresh scent rather than one which has been manufactured.

As well as the Peppermint, this shower gel also contains both Vitamin E which helps to nourish and protect the skin and then we have Aloe which is used to treat a whole host of skin ailments and is itself used to help hydrate, moisturise and soothe.

To go with the shower gel, I went and bought the Twisted Peppermint Whipped Confetti Body Scrub and it smells just as amazing as the Shower Gel and if there is one product I would tempt you to purchase right now from the Bath and Body Works Range, it would be this!

When you squeeze the scrub from the tube, I would recommend starting from the top and gradually working your way through it, rather than squeezing from the middle, it looks a little bit like toothpaste and mixed within the thick formula, you can see the pink and blue confetti balls and they are the exfoliant sugar crystals and they come into contact with warm water they dissolve into the texture which then creates a foam, and whilst it is abrasive and works really well to give your skin a really good exfoliating treatment, it does so without scratching.

The final product, which I already had in my collection is the Twisted Peppermint Gentle Foaming Hand Soap and it is again just a delightful scent.

Once again, this hand soap combines the use of natural essential oils along with nourishing vitamin E, softening Shea extract and aloe and whilst they work together to protect and care for your hands, when it is used with warm water, once again it delivers that luxurious foam that washes hands clean while taking care to maintain skin's natural moisture barrier.

Whether you shop online or in store with Next for Bath and Body Works, the offers and discounts apply for both.  So currently in store it was 3 for 2 on everything bath and shower as well as £10 for 2 hand soaps, so there is some real bargains to be had and I am looking forward to seeing the Christmas sets on offer over the coming weeks, not to mention perhaps a little stocking up over the Black Friday weekend!
