Gifting with Jurlique + Giveway and Offer

Jurlique is such an amazing brand, one that I was introduced to many years ago, long before I entered into the world of blogging and it is one that I still adore now. Jurlique was founded by Jurgen and Ulrike Klein, a German couple who migrated to Australia armed with their natural expertise – his as a biochemist, hers as a botanist – and a vision to create the purest skin care on earth. What I love is that all of the ingredients used within the Jurlique products are grown on a farm and hand picked for each item, they are also free from synthetic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides. I have been a fan of the Rosewater Balancing Mist for years and I always have a bottle sitting on my desk in my office because it is refreshing, smells incredible and it soothes, rejuvenates, and hydrates whilst being on the go. Then we have the Rosewater Balancing Mist which provides instant hydration and supports moisture balance and then we have Moisture Plus Rare Rose Cream which delivers intense hydration throughout the day.

If you love the scent of fresh roses, then the Rose Softening and Moisturising Gift Set (£87) features a trio of incredible products which work really well together.

Starting with the softening Rose shower gel, which I am using currently, it has a soap-free formula that hydrates while cleansing. Made with the natural ingredients of honey, organic aloe vera and liquorice extract, it also helps to re-balance dry skin to restore moisture levels. Suitable for all skin types.  To compliment the shower gel the next product is the Rose softening body lotion and alongside that fresh but subtle scent of rose is  a formula which is enriched with the likes of macadamia and avocado oils which nourish the skin while protecting it, and what I really like about this particular body lotion is that as well as absorbing quickly, it has a non-greasy formula and it has a pump dispenser! The third and final product within this gift set is the Rose hand cream and again, as above, this hand cream is rich, it is luxurious, it nourishes and moisturiser as well as softens.

Then we have the final gift set, the Herbal Recovery Gift Set (£124) and it is described as being a trio of essentials to hydrate and re-energise dull, tired looking skin.

The trio within this gift set is the Activating Water Essence+ which not only hydrates your skin by activating your skin’s ability to retain moisture but it also prepares the skin for better absorption of moisturisers and serums.  Then we have the Herbal Recovery Signature Serum, this is a lightweight gel serum which is designed to revitalise radiance as well as to help reduce the appearance of dullness and within the ingredients list you will find the likes of Yarrow Extract, Red Clover Extract and Viola Tricolour Extracts which are quite the formidable trio when it comes to hyrdation, moisturising and protection of the skin. Then finally, also from the Herbal Recovery range is the Signature Eye Serum and its job, other than to help the appearance of ageing is to minimise puffiness and dark circles. As a serum it is really lightweight and as it is something you are applying around the eye contour, the last thing you would want is an extra thick serum and with this a little goes a long way. I have a little applicator that I use with my eye creams and serums which is really relaxing and it works well with this one.

TOYL It's Makeover Time November Beauty Box

The November edition of the TOYL Beauty Box has arrived and this month it is aptly titled 'It's Makeover Time'. Over the paste few months, we have seen serums, products for the legs and feet and this month, Karen, who founded Time Of Your Life (TOYL) has spent the past few months trailing the best make-up for midlife women and these are the products she chose.

The box is worth £101.94 and it is on sale for just £35, but again, if you use the code BQUK it can be yours for just £30 and inside is everything you need to give you those fluttery lashes, bold lip, blurred lines and glowing skin!

The first product out of the box is from Lord & Berry with their Vogue Matt Lipstick in the shade Fuscia. These lipsticks are said to offer full-on colour with moisture which comes from the inclusion of orchid and papaya extracts.

As a shade, it is very much the fuscia pink, not as bright as I was expecting it to be, in fact it is really wearable and until I came across it in this box and tried it, it would have been a shade I would have looked at twice. If wearing a red is out of your comfort zone, then a shade such as this pink might very well be the one you can wear.

The second product within this box is the Bellapierre Ultra Glow Highlighting and Bronzing Palette and it is described as being the ultimate cheek palette.

On the palette there is four universal shades; three of which are best described as being shimmery highlighters and one which is a velvety matte contour shade. Finely milled pigments make all of these shades easy to blend and build up and the four shades from left to right - Beam, Spectacular, Aura and Straight can be mixed for the perfect glow, day or night and I have used the shade Straight as an eyeshadow shade and it is really beautiful to work with.

Next from Code Beautiful we have their Volume Lengthening Mascara (VLM). I was first introduced to this brand back in 2017 and their lip-liner is still one of the best I have used.

This mascara is described as being volumising, lengthening, thickening, curling, no-clumping, no-smudging, vegan mascara and to top it all off, it is also water-resistant. Enriched with vitamins and waxes to encourage lash growth, the full bristle brush with different length bristles designed to grab every lash for guaranteed definition, thickness, volume and lift.

The final product in this box is from Lord & Berry but this time it is the Skin Control Mattifying Blurring Primer.

Described as being a universal weightless real-life mattifying and blurring primer, it works to minimise excess shine with a soft focus finish, it also blurs the appearance of pores and fine lines and gives a velvet finish on the skin. Skin Control is shine-free, matte, smooth, and primed for makeup application.  What I like about this primer is that it works just as well with foundation as it does with my tinted moisturiser.

The final product within this box is a treat and it comes from Vita Liberata with their Heavenly Elixir in the shade medium.

Whilst I don't use fake tan products, this Heavenly Elixir is described as having a luscious cocoa scent and it is a product that is hydrating, so it helps to lock moisture into the skin whilst at the same time, working to deliver a most naturally flawless bronze shade to the body, which is then said to continue to develop over the next few days and it doesn't begin to fade for 10 days.

I really like the theme of this box, I love the Lord & Berry Blurring Primer and I am always happy to see a mascara in any box I am lucky enough to review. The contents are worth £101.94 and could be yours for just £30*.
