Lookfantastic Beauty Advent Calendar Full Reveal 2021

Lookfantastic have released all the details of their Beauty Advent Calendar for 2021 and with it a waiting list to make sure you grab it as soon as it launches.  Over the past few years, the Lookfantastic Advent Calendar has got better and better and this year is no exception

For 2021, Lookfantastic has chosen a deep burgundy theme for their Advent Calendar with the 25th drawer being the one to stand out in big gold numbering, I prefer the look of this Advent Calendar already to 2020.

L’Occitane Advent Calendars 2021 Revealed

This year, as with last year, L’Occitane will once again be releasing three advent calendars and if you are a fan of the brand, then you will be wanting all three!

The first Advent Calendar to note is the beautifully illustrated Reusable Advent Calendar, which was created in collaboration with UK illustrator Kitty McCall. The stunning design was inspired by nature and js made from recycled cotton and will be reusable after Christmas. 

Hidden inside each one of the 24 pockets, you’ll find a bestselling product. Forage Botanicals Moon Time Belly Balm

Periods are still one of those taboo subjects that people are seemingly embarrassed to talk about, something we shy away from, yet they’re a big part of your life. I’ve had painful periods for as long as I can remember, the cramps usually starting a few days before my period is due, despite every possible issue being ruled out. I’ve tried all kinds of treatments, been on and off the pill in its various forms and whilst there is a few painkillers which dull the aches, nothing soothes and comforts.

I was kindly sent the Forage Botanicals Moon Time Belly Balm, a product which should be used during menstruation and it definitely grabbed my attention.

This new balm is a natural, plant based product which is designed to be applied directly to the tummy, back or thighs, depending on where you feel you need it whilst you're in the throws of cramps. The balm has a luxurious feel to it without being oily and greasy and is easily applied to the skin.

The balm is packed full of incredible ingredients and uses the relaxing essential oils of both mint and marjoram alongside shea butter and coconut oil which is what gives the balm a velvety texture that glides on the skin. 

The advice when you have used the balm is to hold a hot water bottle where you have applied it because it then encourages absorption and helps relieve muscle tension. For me, having used this balm for over 3 months now, it does help to dull those menstrual cramps so that they are manageable and don’t leave me doubled over in pain, which is better than any painkiller that I’ve tried has managed to achieve!
