ESPA Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 Revealed

I am really glad to see ESPA have done another amazing advent calendar for 2021 and personally, I think it is better than the 2020 version and the theme this year is Hidden Treasures.
ESPA Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 Revealed
Instead of being Green as the calendar was last year, for 2021 ESPA has chosen a beautiful burgundy red but have kept the drawer style opening. Hidden inside each one of the 25 drawers you will find a treat from ESPA for your mind, body and soul.

It goes on sale around October 1st and will be priced at £160 but is worth more than double that at £389. This advent calendar will be widely available, but if this is the one you have been wanting to get your hands on, there is a waiting list right here. As always, if you don’t want to know what is inside this advent calendar, then don’t scroll any further!

YSL Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum

YSL have an amazing range of skincare and a few months ago I shared the YSL Pure Shots Airthin UV Defender which I absolutely love.  Today is the turn of the YSL Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum which is part of a whole range of skincare, designed to reduce the appearance of fatigue.
YSL Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum
Night Reboot Serum is known as the star product from YSL Beauty’s Pure Shots range, the Night Reboot Serum takes the cake with its potent formula of botanicals that work to regenerate the skin while protecting it against oxidative stress on the surface. There’s also a groundbreaking bi-phase (exfoliator-in-oil) formula that combines moonlight cactus and glycolic acid.
  • Moonlight Cactus – protects skin cells to reboot and regenerate the skin.
  • Glycolic Acid – exfoliates and removes dead skin cells while treating scarring, skin discolouration and signs of ageing.
As you can see, the formula is what is referred to as bi-phase and to get the best of it you need to shake it and mix it before using.

Then once it has mixed together you can use the product. It does have quite a watery texture to it and as it is a serum, I was expecting to use something with a little more to it, but I don’t dislike it. As soon as the product comes into contact with my skin, it sinks straight in and as well as encouraging that dead and dry skin away owing to the Glycolic Acid, it also hydrates at the same time, all without irritation, tingling or any other problems. As it contains AHA's it is suitable for use at night time, so it finding a place for it within your routine is a must, but being mindful that you must use sunscreen after using because your skin will be more sensitive to the sun.

I really had no idea what to expect from this serum, but my skin has absolutely loved using it and I have enjoyed how it has left my skin feeling after use. It is priced around £59, you can find this YSL Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum from Feelunique, YSL and Lookfantastic to name just a few places.

Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box

This months Glossybox is a really special edition, not just because it is packed full of mazing brands and their products, but because it happens to be the 10th birthday edit - yes, Glossybox is celebrating its 10th birthday which is simply incredible given the market is saturated with beauty boxes in all different kinds of shapes, sizes and budgets. But here we have a brand who release some incredible one off limited edition boxes as well as their regular monthly boxes and this one, well it is quite something.
Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box
This months box features five products that are described as being the absolute beauty must-haves and it has everything from skincare and makeup to a few products in-between, pretty much everything you need to get yourself party ready and raring to go.

The first product out of the box comes from Elemis and it is a deluxe mini of the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream.
Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box
Not only is this cream filled with powerful ingredients such as Rose Absolute, Mimosa Absolute and Padina Pavonica, it is designed to hydrate your skin, whilst increasing its elasticity, suppleness and firmness. It is incredibly lightweight when applied to the skin and I really like the gel-like texture, which isn't greasy or tacky to the touch.

The second product out of the box comes from NCLA with the So Rich Birthday Cake Cuticle Oil, which looks a whole lot of fun to use.
Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box
This is a limited edition cuticle oil which is not only scented like birthday cake, but it is designed to deeply hydrate and soothe both your cuticles and nails. Using Vitamin E extract alongside safflower seed oil not only nourishes your nails but it also locks in moisture. It has a handy rubber-grip dropper which allows for perfect dosage and application every time, without spillage and waste.

The third product within this birthday edition comes from Steve Laurant with a full-sized eyeshadow palette aptly names Celebration.
Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box
Featuring a mixture of both matte and shimmer shades, these neutral tones with the addition of a few darker shades take that eye makeup from day to night with minimal effort and not only are they incredibly pigmented, they apply like an absolute dream and they don't budge easily once applied.

The next product out of the box is another makeup item and this time it comes from Lottie London with the Ombre Blush in shade Haze.
Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box
Nestled inside its compact, Haze is a peach to orange ombre shade which is absolutely stunning and perfect for this time of the year. The powder formula is described as being an ultra-soft, easy to blend powder gives skin the perfect lit-from-within flush.

The final product in this box comes from Frank Body with the Anti-drama facemask which comes packaged inside a pouch.
Glossybox 10th Birthday Edition Box
Using a cocktail of pore-purifying ingredients, this mask is designed to help decongest the skin as well as that never-ending battle with blackheads. With the inclusion of charcoal, chamomile, honey and lavender which together work to draw out embedded impurities, calm inflammation and combat clogged pores, this mask also only needs up to 15 minutes of your time.

I absolutely love this months box and the products which have been featured to celebrate the 10th birthday of Glossybox are quite something, I love the mixture of skincare and makeup.

As you will all know, Glossybox is a beauty box subscription service and it costs as little as £11 per month here*. By subscribing to these boxes, it gives you the chance to get your hands on the Limited Edition boxes.
