StylPro Luxury Brush Collection

When it comes to Stylpro, the inventory of products has grown so quickly, it is quite remarkable. I have no doubts that most people who are currently reading this has or has had the StylPro Makeup Brush cleaner, which by the way saves hours of time completing this dreaded task, I would rather iron than clean my brushes!  From the brush cleaner there has been a Beauty Fridge, a Face Steamer, StylFile Nail File, the StylPro Glow and Go Mirror and so many more products within this collection. Today I have one more for you and that is the StylPro Luxury Brush Collection.

This brush set is said to have been inspired by Hollywood glamour and it features an 8-piece brush set which is currently on offer here for just £10 which is an absolute bargain.

This glitter Vegan brush set is described as offering high density, super soft makeup brushes featuring everything you need for your face and eyes, from buffing, blending and everything in-between. Each brush has soft touch wooden handles, a beautiful glitter ferrule and the most important bit, they are made from soft synthetic hair.

• G103 POWDER BRUSH - This is a large, domed powder brush which is perfect for the application of powder, bronzer and blush. A great all-rounder for on the go touch ups.
• G104 BUFFING BRUSH - This is a dense and flat-topped buffing brush perfect for foundation application. Perfect for blending, this is one of my most used brushes from the collection.
• G105 CONTOUR BRUSH - This is quite a dense and short flat-topped blending brush so it is ideal for blending and buffing your contour and creating that perfect sculpted look.

These brushes are the ones I have used the most with G104 being my most used brush. I love how lightweight the hands are, how easy they are to hold and who doesn't need a bit of glitter in their lives occasionally?  

The bristles are also really soft on the skin and using my Stylpro Brush cleaner, they clean so easily and look like new every single time.

The next five brushes are the ones you also need in your collection, with everything from blending and precise application, this completes the collection.

I am never without a concealer brush, if there was a brush I need that would be it, so I was delighted to see one within this collection.

• G106 CONCEALER BRUSH - This is flat and flexible, oval shaped brush perfect for concealer. The slight pointed edge on this brush allows for precise application.
• G107 CREASE BRUSH - This is the brush I’ve used the lease but it is a long and fluffy brush perfect for shadow application. It has a tapered point which allows for precise definition and blending within in the crease of the eye.
• G108 SHADOW BRUSH - This is a really soft and fluffy shadow brush which is designed perfectly for eye shadow application and creating an even base.
• G109 SMUDGE BRUSH - This is a short but wide brush designed for smudging and blending shadow and kohl liner into the lash line. The shape and density of this brush is the one to use when filling in your brows. 
• G110 BROW BRUSH - This is a flat and angled shaped brush, perfect for even and precise application of powder, gel or pomade products. Use this brush to fill, shape and define eyebrows.

As you can see, all 8 of these brushes work together a team to help with your makeup application and whether you need a new set of brushes or just need one or two more for your collection, for just £10, this is one not to pass up!

L’Occitane Solid Shampoo Bars

Shampoo bars are not a new creation, they have been around for many years but over time, whilst some haven't offered many benefits at all for my hair, these offerings from L'Occitane are absolutely brilliant, not that you would expect anything less and not only do they lather with minimal fuss and faff, they leave my hair feeling refreshed, washed and not at all weighted down or like straw.

I was kindly sent two of the three Solid Shampoo Bars to try and the first thing I noticed was the incredible fresh scent which belonged to the Gentle & Balance Bar as I opened the box.

This Shampoo Bar is said to be suitable for all hair types and from this one bar you get around 20 hair washes. Free from silicones and sulphates, this shampoo bar is formulated with a prebiotic natural sugar complex which means it not only respects and maintains scalp eco system and pH, but it does all of that whilst strengthening skin natural defences.

This Gentle & Balance Shampoo Bar is enriched with the essential oils of Lemon, Orange, Rosemary, Chamomile and Lavender and as I have said already, it smells absolutely incredible, the kind of scent that is relaxing and calming, but its for your hair and not your skin, though I am tempted to use it on my body every time I shower.  As it comes into contact with water its light, fluid texture offers a unique sensorial experience, while the exquisite fragrance awakens the senses, it lathers in just a few rubs between your palms and then you rub that lather directly to your hair and scalp, massage it around, L'Occitane advise that you should start from the bottom of your scalp and moving upwards to your temples with small circular motions and then finish at the top of your scalp before rinsing from your hair.

The second shampoo bar is the Intensive Repair Shampoo bar and this one is designed for brittle and damaged hair, so if like me you haven't seen the inside of a hair salon since January 2020, this might just be calling your name.

Again, packaged sustainably, the Intensive Repair Solid Shampoo is perfect for hair that is feeling dry, brittle and a bit damaged, be that from chemicals if you have been over-doing those home box dye kits or from heat styling. It has been designed to help to revitalise, strengthen and protect the hair from  root to tip, the hair fibre is strengthened. Soft and radiant, the hair is full of life.

Again, this shampoo bar is really gentle and also has a silicone and sulphate free formula. The ingredients used for this option is a combination of oat amino acid whose job it is to repair, restructure and improve the hairs fibre condition and then we have a patented anti-breakage complex made up of five essential oils - angelica, ylang-ylang, sweet orange, lavender of course and then geranium with provitamin B5 and sunflower oil and together they work to protect and give softness and suppleness to the hair.  

The scent for me with this shampoo bar isn't as strong as it is with Gentle & Balance, but there is definitely a light aromatic scent which lingers.  Again, this shampoo bar should be used in exactly the same way and as soon as you form that lather and apply it to your hair and scalp and massage until you feel ready to rinse all of the suds from your hair.  After using, again my hair feels really clean and rather than dry and frazzled, it soft soft and smooth.

These shampoo bars from L'Occitane are priced at just £10 and they are available right now on the brands website along with the rest of the collection.  I am a huge fan of the hair care range from L'Occitane, particularly with the Almond Collection which gives my hair a whole lot of TLC when I need it.  With these shampoo bars, which we have both been using for a few months, you really do get your monies worth.
