Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021

This months Glossybox is titled the Beauty Treasures edit and this month, July, is all about discovering everything from skincare to refresh and uplift, makeup to have you shimmering in the sunlight to a shower product to help you relax and unwind.
Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021
Opening the box which is beautifully decorated with its treasure chest theme, the first product from the box comes from a brand called Aurikah with their Aura Body Fragrance Mist in the scent Tropique.
Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021
Described as being an Islands escape in a bottle , this mist is one which captures those island florals and it smells just absolutely delightful as it opens with the scent of coconut and lime and as it begins to settle the heart notes of Mango and Gardenia mix with the lime to create the scent of holiday as you mix cocktails with the scent of sun cream but the magic really happens with the base notes of frangipani and sweet woods which really give it lasting power and since my box arrived, I haven't stopped spraying this all over myself and whichever room I am sitting in.

The second product out of the box comes from a brand called KNDR with their Kind Bronze Bronzer, which at a first glance, I thought was from Physicians Formula.
Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021
Described as being a buildable natural bronze, this powder is really easy to work with, it looks much darker in the pan than it is and the creamy formula is really soft and has been created using a blend of nutrient-rich plant based butters which condition your skin.  So not only do you have a bronzer to give you that sunkissed glow, but one which also looks after your skin too.

The third product comes from Foamo with their Shower Steamer Shell.  I am a huge fan of Shower Steamers and have featured a few on my blog from other brands.
Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021
From Foamo this Apple and Star Fruit Shower Steamer Shell is described as being one to refresh your senses as it fizzles by your feet to release a relaxing aroma of sweet orange essentials oils into the air, which also help you to unwind.

From MCoBeauty for the fourth product within this box, we have the Cheek and Lip Tint and I have the shade Flamingo Pink.
Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021
Described as being the perfect double duty beauty for a rosy pout and flushed cheeks, what you have with this Cheek and Lip Tint is a multi-taking pigmented stain which you can blend using your finger tips to the cheeks and on the lips it gives you the option of buildable coverage.

The final product within this Beauty Treasures box comes from Ilamasqua with their Beyond Powder in the shade OMG.

Glossybox - Beauty Treasures July 2021
Described as being a shimmering champagne hue that instantly warms skin and it is perfect for illuminating the high points of the face and reflecting light, the powder is effective when worn on the top of the cheek bones, brow bones and even the collar bones. It is absolutely stunning however you choose to wear it and as a full-sized product it is worth £34!

I absolutely love this months box and the theme, the mixture of products inside is perfect for its theme because I have found some beauty treasures, especially the Aurikah Body Fragrance Mist which I just love.

As you will all know, Glossybox is a beauty box subscription service and it costs as little as £11 per month here*. By subscribing to these boxes, it gives you the chance to get your hands on the Limited Edition boxes, such as the upcoming Huda Box which launches on Friday.

If you have followed the Glossybox journey over the past year, then you will know that most boxes sell out super quickly, so I expect this one to do just that.

Alpha-H Four Piece Heroes Collection

Alpha-H comes from humble beginnings, a story I have told many times.  From a family garage 25 years ago to becoming an award-winning global phenomenon with a product I am sure everyone will have tried, heard of or has on their wish list - Liquid Gold.  Available now in over 30 countries and available from a huge array of websites and stores, this Four Piece Heroes Collection is definitely one you need to have within your collection - whether you are an Alphaholic or have yet to try the brand!
Alpha-H Four Piece Heroes Collection
Partnering with QVC to offer a unique limited-edition collection for a special Today's Special Value (TSV) deal, you will find four of the brands most iconic and innovative formulas, one of which has been specially supersized to 200ml for this incredible deal and it is available right now!

The first product is actually one which you make the choice of when selecting and purchasing your TSV. You can either choose the  Balancing Cleanser or the Triple Action Cleanser.  So, I have the Triple Action Cleanser with Thyme and its job is to cleanse, tone and remove every single last trace of makeup from your skin, all without stripping it of that essential moisture - which of course it absolutely does.

The lightweight, gel-like formula, which I absolutely love, contains antibacterial thyme extract which helps to minimise excess oil and breakouts, it works alongside soothing aloe vera and cucumber which inject the skin with moisture while calming it down. The formula is free from foaming agents, detergents or sulphates and it works to restore the skin's natural pH balance without irritating!

The second product is that iconic Liquid Gold which has been supersized to 200ml for this deal. Liquid Gold is described as being a powerful night-time resurfacing treatment, which works to tighten and revitalise tired, ageing skin as well as helping to radically improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, open pores and acne-prone skin conditions.

Liquid Gold is packed full of amazing ingredients such as Liquorice which helps combat acne and hyper-pigmentation and of course Glycolic Acid, which is derived from sugar cane, to jump-start the skin's metabolism and refining its texture by dissolving the bonds that hold dead skin cells together, so they're sloughed away with your morning cleanse to reveal a more luminous, glowing complexion. This is one product I always turn too when my skin needs a jump start, when nothing I am using is helping my skin to look better, I bring this out and time and time again it hasn't let me down.

The third product within this Four Piece Collection is the Essential Hydration Cream. This cream has been one of my favourite creams for a long time.  Described as being the one to soothe, repair and revitalise lacklustre complexions, it is also suitable for even delicate skin types.  Like many people, I have been spending far more time than I would usually do in front of the computer screen with face to face meetings now being held online via Zoom, Teams or whatever other system it is that we decide to use, from doing this, I've noticed my skin has felt really dry, despite continuing with my skincare routine.

So the Essential Hydration Cream is not only lightweight in texture and non-greasy, it has a whole host of ingredients which my skin just needs.  This cream suspends sea minerals, fatty acids and youth-restoring peptides in the finest of essential oils and its key ingredients include the likes of Evening Primrose Oil and Linoleic Acid which nourish and improve the skin's elasticity, Rose Geranium Oil which helps to stimulate healing and balance sebum production and then antioxidant Vitamin E which hydrates and repairs cell damage from environmental aggressors.  Designed to be applied liberally every morning and evening after cleansing and for me, I love that it is it lightweight on the skin and it smells as heavenly as it feels when applied!

Finally, we have Hyaluronic 8, a serum which is said to act as a topical alternative to invasive dermal fillers and it includes eight multi-weighted hydrating ingredients including the next generation flash filling Hyaluronic Acid Primalhyal Ultrafiller™, which is just as impressive as it sounds.

The 'magic 8' instantaneously provide moisture to the surface of the skin while simultaneously penetrating deep into the lower layers of the dermis to build a sustainable moisture reservoir, giving us that much wanted hydrated and plump feeling to the skin. I wrote a full review of just how fabulous this serum is here and it is up there in my top 5 favourites from Alpha-H.

This collection can be found on QVC right here or you can use the QVC Item Number which is 245295 if you want the Triple Action Cleanser or item number 245295 for the Balancing Cleanser.  This collection is a brilliant introduction to Alpha-H for those who have yet to try a product and also a great way to top up on your favourite products if you are already a huge fan, the only issue is that they sell out incredibly quickly, so from July19th, grab them as quick as you can!
