TOYL SUPER SUMMER LEGS AND PEDI BOX - July 2021

This months Time of Your Life, or TOYL box has a very good theme which I am not sure ive ever seen a beauty box do before - welcome to the Super Summer Legs and Pedi Box. TOYL is a beauty box that I have been lucky enough to feature monthly for a while now and once again, I love the theme. Once again, these products have been chosen by Karen, the founder of TOYL, because she believes they very much represent the best for women over the age of 40 and believes they are better suited to those needs. Once again, this box is worth over £104 and it can be yours for just £35, read on to find out how!

The Super Summer Legs and Pedi Box is all about exploring some of the most incredible products that are available for our legs and feet. Say goodbye to those Lizard shins and hard soles with these products.

The first product out of the box comes from a brand I am loving getting to know and that is Margaret Dabbs with the Firming Leg Serum (200ml - RRP £45.00)

Described as being a miracle product, it is formulated with what is referred to as the innovative Legance™ and V Tonic complex allowing this serum to act as an invisible support stocking, helping to stimulate circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite. It is also clinically proven to reduce water retention and it can be used every day in place of body lotion to promote firmer, toned legs.

The next product comes from Leighton Denny with his Smooth Your Sole Foot File (RRP £6.00) a product everybody needs to have in their stash.

Described as being a whizz at removing dry, dead skin from feet. This is a professional quality, double sided foot file for fast removal of calluses and thickened areas of dry skin on the feet to leave your soles feeling soft, smooth and perfect for those sandals!

Sticking with the feet for the next product, we have Dermatonics Heel Balm with Manuka Honey (60ml / RRP £5.99). This is a brand I haven't come across until now

Designed for very dry skin on the feet, this cream uses New Zealand Manuka Honey which hydrates and draws moisture into your skin with the end result being soft smooth skin. I have never tried this product before, but I did do a quick search to find it gets rave reviews everywhere it is featured!

When you've finally got your trotters looking much more delightful, there is one task left to complete and that is applying nail polish.  The product in this box comes from Kure Bazaar with the shade Fabulous (10ml / RRP £15.00) 

Fabulous is said to be the UK Press's top colour pick for summer 2021 and as a brand, Kure is described as being non-toxic and has a list of 10 ingredient "nasties" that it bans from it's formulas plus it's made in France.  Added to that, it is also made from 85% natural ingredients. So definitely ticks a lot of boxes.

Now the feet are looking as fabulous as they possibly can, it is time to move away from them (thank god) and the next product out of the box is the Gatineau's Exfoliating Mitt (RRP £12.99).

Described as being the exact tool for smoothing shins and removing dead skin, this double-sided Body Buffing Mitt not only works to gently exfoliate the skin it also helps to remove impurities and dead skins cells. For those of us who suffer with lizard legs or scaly shins, this mitt is perfect for helping to deal with that because the mitt itself, whilst it isn't too harsh on the skin, does, with a little bit of pressure make short work of that scaly skin. 

Next up we have the Urban Veda Revitalising Body Lotion (250ml / RRP £12.99). I have used quite a few products from Urban Veda over the years, so am glad to see it in this box.

This Lotion is described as being a light, deeply moisturising body lotion which is perfect for summer legs. Rose infused and smelling just delightful, this Revitalising Body Lotion is packed full of omega-rich bio oils and organic nutrient-rich flower waters meaning tired skin is deeply hydrated and softened giving it a new lease of life.

The final product within the box could be one of two options from Bioderma and their expert suncare range, you will either get the Bioderma Photoderm Max SPF50+ Sun Mist (150ml/ RRP £17.50 ) or the soothe after sun with Bioderma's Photoderm Refreshing After Sun Milk (100ml / RRP £7.90).

I got the Refreshing After Sun Milk which is said to be ideal for use on all skin types, including those who have sensitive skin. This rehydrating after sun milk is fortified with emollient and soothing agents, allantoin and ginkgo biloba which together help to calm the feeling of overheating to the skin. Then we have Glycerine and shea unsaponifiables which ensure the skin is rehydrated and replenished, this in turn prevents dryness that can be caused by sun exposure. Exclusive patented Cellular Bioprotection complex effectively shields the skin against the risks of cell damage.

So with a box that helps you create a bit of TLC for the legs, a full on pedicure for your trotters and there is also a bit of body care included just to ensure that your legs look amazing in shorts, skirts or swimwear this summer!

Caudalie Vinoperfect Glycolic Peel Mask

Caudalie is a brand who happens to create some of my favourite products and the Caudalie Vinoperfect Glycolic Peel Mask goes straight into my top 10 products from the brand, it is simply wonderful.

Described as being “Confidence in a bottle” this dual-action skin renewal treatment, it works like a scrub and peel all at the same time and in doing so, the formula is made up of 96% natural ingredients and its job is give your skin that glow whilst remove dullness and all in just 10 minutes.

This glycolic peel also has the task of clearing the complexion, tightening pores and at the same time, it works to give you an immediate burst of radiance while exfoliating gently the skin. How does it do this? Once on the skin, this masque works to gently exfoliate and peel away those dead and dry skin cells alongside any trapped impurities. It also works on minimising the appearance of pigmentation and dark spots. Fans of Caudalie will be aware of an ingredient known as Viniferine, a patented ingredient derived from vine sap, which tackles dark spots and is 62 times more effective than vitamins to protect against free radicals.
