L’Occitane Pressed Fruity Lipsticks

Did you know that as well as having an amazing skin, body, hand and hair care range, L'Occitane also have quite the growing makeup range too? Already a fan of their lip care products, L'Occitane has added to the range with their brand new Pressed Fruity Lipsticks.
L’Occitane Pressed Fruity Lipsticks
L’Occitane Pressed Fruity Lipsticks
Each one of these Pressed Fruity Lipsticks, has a really lightweight formula which I really liked and because they are silicone free not to mention enriched with a combination of vitamin E and a unique blend of fruit and vegetable extracts and there is no use of mineral oils either, so they don't leave the lips feeling greasy or tacky when used and I was really impressed with the transfer of colour onto my lips - which didn't mark a cup I was drinking from.

There is four Pressed Fruity Lipsticks within the collection and I have been playing with three of them for the last few weeks, trying them out and testing their longevity and generally seeing how well they work with my skintone and lips of course.

The three shades I have are:
  • POMELIP – a natural shade of pink perfect for spring
  • CAROSSE – a vibrant coral shade, evocative of the Provence sunrise
  • SPRING SUNRISE – a deep shade of pink for a bold look
Each one of these lipsticks comes with a doe-foot applicator which not only makes the application totally effortless as the colour just glides across the lips, I have found that there is no need to use a lip liner. Once on the lips, the colour doesn't feather and has a lovely satin finish which is really comfortable to wear.

The swatches shown above are unedited and you see them as they apply from the doe-footed applicator, all without sticking or streaking. These lipsticks also have a wear time of around seven to eight hours, though as the day wears on, the shade does begin to wear off, but the staying power, which is impressive on its own has another ace up its sleeve because it manages to stay put on the lips even whilst wearing a face mask.

Priced at £20 each, these Pressed Fruity Lipsticks are perfect for Spring and to see you through to the Summer.

Roccabox Hot Girl Summer - June Edition
Inside this months box, which is said to be worth over £50, you will find five products and here you have a mixture of skincare, hair care and makeup.

The first product out of the box comes from Crabtree & Evelyn with a product ive wanted to try for some time, the Evelyn Rose Shower Milk (travel sized rrp £9.16).
Roccabox Hot Girl Summer - June Edition
Described as being enriched with soothing rose water, softening mallow flower and hydrating coconut water its milk-to-froth suds are incredibly delicately scented with the Evelyn Rose signature scent.

The second product within this months box comes from a brand I have only ever come across in Beauty Boxes and that is Beauty Crop. The product this time is their Smoothie Stick Lip Crayon (full size rrp £7) and there is two shades in the boxes, you will either get Saucy Marsala or Peach Please.
Roccabox Hot Girl Summer - June Edition
I have the shade Saucy Marsala which is a brown shade. Described as being a creamy and hydrating lip crayon which delivers moisturising rich colour, while providing a smooth, even application. It is enriched with Almond Butter which provides a hit of magnesium and antioxidants to moisturise and protect the lips and Goji Berry which is rich in Vitamin E boosting circulation and generating new skin cells, making your lips softer.

Next out of the box is Anatomicals with their Deep Conditioning Hair Pack (full size rrp £5). Described as being a fab hair mask that replenishes moisture to leave hair soft, shiny and frizz-free.
Roccabox Hot Girl Summer - June Edition

From Bellapierre, the best product in the box, we have the Brown Eyed Girl Palette (full size rrp £28.99).  Whilst mine did come with a little bit of damage, it is still very much usable.
Roccabox Hot Girl Summer - June Edition
Described as being a palette featuring four expertly coordinated shades which are not only highly pigmented but they are also super blend-able. The eyeshadow palette features one rich cherry brown matte, two silky shimmers, and one chromatic rose gold shade which work together to create multiple eye looks.

Pixi Bodytreats Rose Collection

A new Pixi launch is always exciting and a good few weeks ago now, this amazing Pixi green rucksack arrived and inside, I found the newly launched Pixi Rose BodyTreats Collection. I am already a fan of the Pixi Rose Skincare Collection, especially the Rose Ceramide Cream!
Pixi Bodytreats Rose Collection
There is four products within the Rose Bodytreats Collection and I was kindly sent three to try - Body Cleanser, Body Polish and a Body Balm, the fourth product is a Rose Body Oil and it sounds absolutely divine.

The first product out of the rucksack that i wanted to try is the Rose Body Polish (£24). I love a good body scrub and depending how my skin feels, I like everything from something that is really abrasive to something that is not at all a scrub, but still does the job of a scrub.
Pixi Bodytreats Rose Collection
From Pixi, we have a nourishing body scrub which uses fruit extracts to help exfoliate and brighten the skin, Rose Flower Oil to moisturise and restore plus there is the inclusion of lactic acid which helps to smooth and clarify. This scrub can be used daily, or as often as needed, and is recommended to be massaged into dry skin before your bath or shower. Then leave the scrub on the skin for 1-2 minutes, and rinse away under warm water.

The second product inside this Pixi Green rucksack is the Rose Body Cleanser (£18).  This nourishing cream cleanser is described as being rich in flower oils whose job is to cleanse the skin as well as helping to soften and hydrate.
Pixi Bodytreats Rose Collection
The formula, which I really enjoyed using, has both rose flower and rosehip which conditions, and they work alongside citrus oils and lavender whose job it is to refresh and soothe the skin. This is a great product for using after you have used the Rose Body Polish in the bath or shower as they really compliment each other, you simply need a small dollop into the palms of your hands, wash and then rinse and as you do so, those citrus oils mixed with the Lavender come to life and it is a really lovely scent.

The final product within this trio is the Pixi Rose Body Balm (£24). Described as being a daily moisturiser to be smoothed over the skin, it hydrates and nourishes the skin.
Pixi Bodytreats Rose Collection
This balm is really lightweight and not overly heavy, so it will be great for the summer months to complete your skincare routine. It uses Shea Butter which gives the moisturising and nourishing side with Rosehip oil for smooth and supple skin before rose flower oil moisturises and restores the skin too.

I adore this trio, possibly my favourite collection that Pixi have to offer by way of the Skintreats section and if like me, you love the scent of rose, then this is a collection you definitely need.  All of these products can purchased individually starting at £18, or there are a few very cute Rose infused gift sets on offer which are priced from just £20.
