I am really chuffed to be sharing the November 'Firecracker' Edition from Lookfantastic and it has been curated to help you to embrace the colder evenings with some cosy nights in.
It features 6 beauty products which are picked with the hope they help you to indulge your senses as well as take some time out for yourself.
The first product to catch my eye within this box comes from Philip Kingsley with the Pure Colour Frizz-Fighting Gloss, a product I have not yet tried from the brand.
Described as being the perfect way to extend your colour between appointments and nourish chemical-treated strands, Philip Kingsley’s Pure Colour Frizz Fighting Gloss grants a beautifully sleek and smooth finish. Designed to supplement your heat-styling routine, this treatment gives your hair a weightless veil to give that mirror like shame whilst at the same time taming any wayward frizz. Protecting the hair up to 190°C, it also defends against UV damage and free radicals in order to maintain the vibrancy of your colour. The formula is infused with a lightweight blend of silicones, which it is said won’t build up on your hair, their role is to protect and condition for a high-shine finish. There is also the inclusion of phytantriol which also encourages suppleness and sheen as it improves the texture of damaged, chemical-treated hair and boosts moisture retention.
The second product within the box comes from ThisWorks with the Perfect Legs Skin Miracle, a product I haven't used for a very long time.
Described as being a tinted serum that applies effortlessly to deliver subtle colour and a sun-kissed glow. It used a delicate blend of Caramel and Arnica which works to smooth the surface texture of the skin as well as to hydrate. To do that, the formula is enriched with Vitamin C and E. The texture is one which applies effortlessly to the skin and as it does so, the non-greasy formula blends seamlessly to conceal the appearance of bruising and imperfections, whilst evening out skin tone and creating a natural-looking sheen. As well as being used on the legs, you can also use it all over the body to give that sun kissed look.
The third product within this box comes from a really lovely brand which I am getting to know called Polaar, and the product is the Ice Pure Micellar Water with Arctic Cotton.
Designed to expertly cleanse the skin, lips and eyes without over-drying or leaving behind a feeling of uncomfortable tightness. Polaar harnesses the powers of Arctic Cotton, the gentle cleanser effortlessly eliminates dirt, pollution and even the most stubborn make-up to reveal a clearer, brighter complexion. Delivers long-lasting moisture and hydration to leave skin feeling soft, supple and revitalised.
The fourth product comes from Nails Inc and we have Portland Square as the shade within this box, seemingly perfectly in keeping with the theme of the box.
Portland Square is an orange shade with red tones to it and it uses charcoal as an ingredient to care for your nails by promoting growth and protecting them against environmental aggressors.
The fifth product out of the box comes from Lord & Berry, a brand I got to know through beauty boxes such as this one and it is the Line/Shade Glam Eye Pencil in a Golden Bronze shade.
This pencil is super soft when applying onto the skin, be it your lash line or even on your lids. It boasts a creamy formula which blends effortlessly to give you that bright eyed awake look and is being really pigmented it does stand out.
The final product within this box comes from Naobay and this is also a brand I have got to know through beauty boxes. From the brand this time comes the Detox Oxygen Light Cream.
Using the antioxidant power of green tea to work alongside the protective properties of Ginkgo biloba to act as a shield against daily aggressions. Then there is the inclusion of raspberry which works to protect your skin from the loss of water and finally aloe vera for its calming properties. What all of this gives is a cream which is lightweight in texture and also non-greasy.
This months box offers quite the eclectic mixture of products and you can create easily put an afternoon aside to use them within a pampering session. Lookfantastic is, as I am sure you will know a monthly beauty box subscription service which costs as little as £13 per month here* and this box has contents worth just short of £60.
