Chantecaille The Safari Chic Collection Lip Veil Acacia

Until now, Chantecallie had been one of the brands I had merely lusted after on my trips to Liberty, their counter never failing to capture my attention, usually the Jasmine & Lily Healing Mask is the one I really want.  Now, I have my very own Lip Veil from the latest Safari Chic collection and I have not stopped wearing it since it arrived.

Described as being Chantecaille's latest philanthropic launch, The Safari Chic Collection Lip Veil, of which there are three, has been created in support of the brand's long-time partner Space for Giants and their vital work protecting Africa's elephants and the landscapes they depend on and on both the outer box and the lip veil packaging, there is an embossed Elephant clearly in view.

I chose the shade Acacia which is described as being a tan rose hue and it is just absolutely beautiful, the perfect shade for Autumn if ever there was to be a shade. This is a vegan lipsticks and one which uses Fair Wild-certified organic baobab oil which works to leave your lips feeling so soft and smooth. 

On the lips, the Lip Veil literally glides across, with an almost lip balm like texture, bringing with it an amazing pigment all whilst hydrating and soothing as it goes.  Once on the lips, it does a really good job at hydrating and I've found it doesn't cling to any dry skin, though I do always ensure my lips are exfoliated regularly to avoid such things happening.

When it comes to swatching, I took two shots, both unedited or changed in anyway but one was with my camera flash and one is without and I honestly cannot tell you just how much I adore the shade.  It definitely makes me want to try the other two from the range which are called Plumeria and Tamarind and again, both are such beautiful shades.

This has been my first venture into Chantecaille and it definitely will not be the last, I honestly didn't expect to love a product as much as I do this one and it costs £40 and it can be found here via Beauty Expert*

Clarins x Selfridges Exclusive 24 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar 2020 ADVENT

Clarins are on a roll with their advent calendars for 2020, I have already featured these two for him and for her and today is the exclusive 24 days of Christmas Advent with Selfridges.

Lancome Beauty Advent Calendar 2020

The Lancome Beauty Advent Calendar 2020 has just launched into Selfridges and it is quite impressive.

With its bright pink coloured box it opens up to lay flat and inside there is 24 boxes, each one of the days being made to look like little buildings along the Paris skyline and if you have ever been to Paris and seen the Eiffel Tower light show, for me, it is reminiscent of that.

FOREO UFO ACTIVATED MASKS - CALL IT A NIGHT

I am pretty obsessed with my beauty gadgets and one of my favourite brands is Foreo, to the point where I have pretty much every device they have ever released! One of my favourites is the *UFO Mini Smart Mask Treatment which I’ve reviewed here.

The UFO is designed to be used with FOREO’s mini sheet masks, developed exclusively in Korea and combining plant and fruit extracts and botanical oils. So with my Beauty Expert Voucher, I decided to buy some new masks to try and opted for the Foreo Call It A Night UFO-Activated Mask* (£9.99). The joy of this device is that there is an abundance of masks to choose from, I usually always get the coconut oil ones which I just adore, but you know what they say about change.

Maintain flawless skin with FOREO Call It a Night UFO-Activated Mask; a Korean-inspired treatment to be used in conjunction with the brand's UFO device for maximum absorption of nutrients and active ingredients.

These masks are fortified with some really lovely ingredients such as 

• Ginseng - which is known to help tone and rejuvenate, for skin that looks younger and more luminous.
• Olive Oil - which helps nourish and soften skin, leaving you with smooth skin that feels supple and replenished.

Together these two ingredients make quite the powerful couple. The mask itself is made up of a soft microfibres which glides effortlessly across the skin and when it has been secured to the 'UFO' device, T-Sonic™ pulsations gently warm and activate the ingredients so you get the most out of each treatment. Using the mask in conjunction with the UFO device is said to help to revitalise and nourish skin while you sleep, so you can wake up to a radiant, healthy complexion.

I am a huge fan of my Foreo UFO* and what I love is that these masks are not drenched but there is enough liquid on them so that you can feel it when moving the device around your face as instructed.  After using this mask, what I have loved is no irritation or the feeling of dryness on my skin. I use my device with the mask before bed, it is quite relaxing as I finish a chapter of a book and then leave it to finish working its magic.
