Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Collection Review And Swatches

Revlon is a brand that got me through my teens as I began to discover makeup, so I am pleased to see it is still around as just as popular as it ever has been. Over recent months I have been lucky enough to feature some pretty incredible new launches including the Kiss Plumping Lip Cremes and the Volumising Mascara.  Today is the turn of the new Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Collection Tint, which is inspired by K-Beauty, got me a tad excited to try them out.

Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Collection
I loved these Lip Tints as soon as I opened them to use and whilst they look similar to the Lancome Juicy Shakers crossed with Revlon Colourburst Lip Balm, they are incredibly easy to use and they cost just £7.99 each.

I have six of the ten shades available and there is a wide range of colours available to suit all preferences.  Once the lid has been removed, underneath is where the similarity to the Lancome Juicy Shakers come to life because there is a cushion tip.  In order to produce a hint of colour, rather than shaking the product, you instead twist the ring, which is found at the bottom of the pencil until the colour starts to appear.  At this stage, you can control how much or how little of colour you want.
Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Cushion
Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint Cushion Colour
Described as being a 'Plush tip for a lush lip! With its soft cushion tip, this lip tint delivers a stain of color—and tons of moisture'. Infused with Coconut Oil, which also gives each of the tints a slight coconut scent too, which I love. The Cushion tip is designed to help evenly distribute the tint onto your lips and as it begins to dry, you can re-apply to build more colour and then as it dries, it gives the look of a blotted lip shade, this effect is inspired by the K-Beauty Popsicle lip trend.

The six shades I have are:
  • High End Coral – an intense bright orange.
  • Pink IRL – a sheer cool toned medium pink.
  • Pretty Kiss – a super sheer pinky brown nude.
  • Berry Lit – an intense bright fuchsia pink.
  • Crimson Feels – a bold bright red.
  • Fancy Rose – a deep, intense brown nude.

I have tried all of these shades over the past few weeks and not only are they incredibly nourishing and moisturising on the lips, but I also love how easy they are to use and apply and they impart enough colour to be noticeable and last long enough so that you don't need to constantly re-apply.

The swatches shown above are completely unedited and what you see is the shade you get upon a swatch. All six of the shades are really easy to wear, they feel comfortable and not in the slightest bit drying.  On application, they have the feel of a balm and as the days go on, the sheen that you see dries away and what is left is that blotted stain look which I really like for those no makeup days when I want to wear very little.  My favourite shade of the six above changes depending on my mood but I tend to opt for Pretty Kiss most often.

Fushi Bio-Vedic Face Care Collection

I tried Fushi for the first time in the run-up to Christmas when I featured their Heavenly Rose and Jasmine gift set as part of my Christmas gift guide series. Today I have The Fushi Bio-Vedic Face Care Collection which is their newest range to share today and it is beautiful.
Fushi Bio-Vedic Face Care Collection
The Fushi Bio-Vedic Face Care Collection is said to have been inspired by Ayurvedic wisdom and the range is said to perfectly emulate Fushi's passion for unrefined pure beauty oils and Ayurvedic herbs to form a unique, all-natural revitalising skincare collection. This range has been created to leave the skin supple, radiant and velvety soft without greasy feeling, this simple 3-step skincare regime celebrates the benefits of fresh oils and herbs – core to Fushi – for the skin.

The first product is my favourite of the three and it is the Fushi Bio-Vedic Enzyme Face wash (£15 for 150ml).
“The Biovedic™ Enzyme Face wash is formulated to boost cell renewal and leave your skin glowing and radiant. This refreshing and gentle botanical wash contains revitalising herbs and oils including Rice Bran oil known for its skin brightening and deep-moisturising capability and Vanshlochan stem extract to cleanse and revive the skin, leaving it soft and dewy fresh."
Designed to be used 1-2 times per week, this face wash not only nourishes and hydrates the skin, but it also work as the perfect exfoliator to rejuvenate a tired looking complexion.
Fushi Bio-Vedic Enzyme Face Wash
Using the herb Manjistha to promote long term skin radiance, it also contains Rose Otto, which is an uplifting and beautiful, sweet, floral scent.= which is known for its calming effects on the skin. Kalahari Melon Seed Oil is also used and it is known for its antioxidant and restorative properties.  Rice Bran oil is also used and it is known for its skin brightening and deep-moisturising capability and also Vanshlochan stem extract to cleanse and revive the skin, leaving it soft and dewy fresh.

The second product is the Fushi Bio-Vedic Daily Face Cream (£20 for 50ml).  This cream is described as being a:
"Nourishing, hydrating face cream with revitalising herbs and oils to revive the skin, leaving it soft and radiant. Our Biovedic™ Face Cream is a blend with revitalising herbs and oils to deliver long lasting nourishment, absorb rapidly and leave the skin supple, radiant and velvet soft.".
Perfect for daily use, this cream should be massaged into your face and neck as part of your skincare routine.
Fushi Bio-Vedic Daily face Cream
The Biovedic™ Radiance Face Cream,as with the Enzyme Wash, consists of Ayurvedic herb Manjisthta and Kalahari Melon Seed and Rice Bran oils. Manjistha is carefully infused in this wonderfully nourishing formula for its skin brightening properties. Rice Bran is rich in sterols, protective and a penetrative oil that sinks into the skin’s dermis and keeps it supple and soft all day. Again there is the inclusion of Kalahari Melon seed is an oil which is known for its incredible antioxidant, non-comedogenic and restorative properties. It boosts skin elasticity, moisture and is age defying.

The final product within this trip is the Fushi Bio-Vedic Radiance Facial Oil (£22 for 30ml).
The Biovedic™ Radiance Face oil is an ultra-nourishing lightweight face oil blended with 5 incredible nutrient dense oils including the protective Raspberry Seed, age defying Kalahari Melon Seed, skin brightening Rice Bran and vitamin rich Moringa among others. Infused with skin rejuvenating Ayurvedic herb Manjistha to deliver long lasting care and nourishment. It absorbs rapidly and leaves the skin supple, radiant and velvet soft.
I absolutely love facial oils and if my skin is feeling really parched I will add one into my skincare routine.
Fushi Bio-Vedic Radiance Facial Oil
There are a few ways in which you can use this oil and it depends on your preference. You can apply it directly to the skin or, my own preference is to add a few drops to my moisturising cream.

The ingredients within this oil include Red Raspberry seed oil which has excellent antioxidant properties and it helps to reduce the damages of free radicals as well as to soothe and improve both tone and elasticity of the skin. Kalahari Melon seed is an oil which is known for its incredible antioxidant and it also has an incredibly high Vitamin E content and up to 70% Linoleic acid, which promotes skin elasticity and is age defying. As with the other products in this range, Rice Bran oil also makes an appearance and it is a highly protective oil that protects the skin from pollution and acts as a natural sunscreen. It's rich in sterols which helps blood circulation and prevents skin puffiness. It is an excellent source of vitamin E, and a very penetrative oil that sinks into the skin's dermis and keeps it supple and soft all day.

I absolutely love this collection of products, for me, the stand out is the Enzyme Facial Wash because you really can feel a difference in your skin when you use it.  I love that there is a story behind the collection, more so that the packaging reflects the unique ingredients, distinctive heritage and Ayurvedic inspiration.  The meditative pattern is designed to embody the Fushi Mandala petals and the idea is to invite the user in, past the white borders to peace and calm of the inner world.

The Fushi Bio-Vedic collection is available from www.fushi.co.uk and it can also be in stores such as Wholefoods, Ocado, Naturisimo and other health and beauty retailers.

MUA Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks Review and Swatches

I really like MUA as a brand and for the past year or so there has been some incredible launches, some of which I have featured on my blog which include the Pro Base products and a first look at the Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks which I first reviewed here. Today I am sharing a few more shades from the range.
MUA Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks Review and Swatches
MUA Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks
These Super Stylo Satin Finish lipsticks look like a cross between the Chanel Coco Rouge Stylos and a Chubby Stick. In total there are eight shades and I have six of them to share today and they are Super Nude, World Class, Heroic, First Class, Major and Elite.  The bottom part of the stick acts as the twist to move the lipstick up and down and because the lid fastens on so tight, they are perfect for carrying in your handbag, rather than fall off and smudge everywhere and everything it touches.
MUA Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipstick Swatches
MUA Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks Review and Swatches
From these six shades, there is something for everyone whether you like a lipstick which gives you a pop of colour or whether you prefer something much more muted and nude.

Each lipstick gives full coverage and what I love is the formula, it has the creamy moisturising feel of a balm rather than the waxy feel of lipstick as they glide across the lips. The swatches above are completely unedited, so what you see is what you get.  I have worn all but the shade First Class since they arrived and they are perfect for everyday wear.
  • Super Nude - the lightest of all the shades and it gives a barely there coverage
  • World Class - a Pinky nude which looks much bolder on a swatch than it does on the lips
  • Heroic - A peahcy toned nude which is one of my favourtie shades
  • First Class - A stunning bright red and one of the most pigmented of shades ive used
  • Major - A brown toned nude which is slightly darker on a swatch than it is on the lips
  • Elite - A mauve shade which again, I absolutely love and have worn a lot of.

Each one of these MUA Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks is available for just £3 each. When it comes to wear time, I was surprised to get around 4 hours out of each as I was expecting much less, but as with any lipstick or lip product, it depends on how much you eat and drink.

You can find these Super Stylo Satin Finish Lipsticks in Superdrug along with the rest of the MUA brand.

Glossybox April Edition - Fruity or Floral?

To celebrate the arrival of Spring, this month Glossybox has curated quite the vibrant Fruity or Floral editions, of which you will receive one or the other.  Each box will be fruit-inspired or blooming with the florals.  Inside each box are five products to fit with the theme of your box, plus an extra treat.
Glossybox April Edition - Fruity or Floral?
If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen which box I was kindly sent and having seen no sneak previews as to what is inside, I couldn't wait to see what was waiting for me.

The first item out of my box is 'Let Your Dreams Blossom' Eau de Parfum by Jeanne Arthes and the theme of the bottle matches that of my box. Jeanne Arthes is part of the Arthes Group, a French perfume company based in Grasse which was founded in 1978.
Glossybox April Edition Jeanne Arthes EDP
The fragrance itself holds notes of rose petal, Cedarwood alongside the more delicate notes of Lily, Freesia and amber and together they create quite the floral fragrance and one that most definitely works for Spring.

The second product out of my box is from Soaper Duper and it is Fruity Green Tuberose Body Butter.   I was introduced to Soaper Duper back in 2016 (review here).  Formulated using 97% naturally derived ingredients which include moisturising Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter as well as nourishing Baobab and Macadamia Oils which come together to work with antioxidant vitamin E, and skin-softening pineapple and passionfruit.
Glossybox April Edition Soaper Duper Body Butter
What I love about this body butter is just how quickly they melt onto the skin. One bore I find with using a body butter is having to spend ages massaging them into the skin, so quite a lot of the time I get bored quite easily, not with Soaper Duper, this one smells incredible, it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and there is literally nothing I dislike about it.

Next, I have the Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask from Dr. Botanicals and again, Glossybox clearly has been listening to what I love because I do love lazy skincare.
Glossybox April Edition Dr Botanicals
Described as being something to help you sleep your way to an energised and refreshed complexion, this mask is infused with pomegranate extract which is not only moisturising but also high in antioxidants.  All natural and vegan, the formula nourishes and hydrates your skin and it also smells absolutely incredible too.

Next up is the Hydrating Water Infusions Raspberry and Rose Shower Gel from Original Source.  It has been a long time since I have used anything from Original Source admittedly, so I am quite keen to give this a try.
Glossybox April Edition Original Source

In keeping with the theme of the box, this shower gel is infused with fruits and flowers which in this case happen to be Rose Flower Water and Raspberry Fruit Extract. It also contains 3 moisturisers as well as a vitamin and antioxidant blend.   The formula is also paraben free and Vegan.

The final item is from Dr Paw Paw and it is the Hot Pink Balm.  Formulated using the moisturising properties of the pawpaw fruit, this balm is a newly launched take on the original product that most of us have now come across and used.
Glossybox April Edition Dr PawPawGlossybox April Edition Dr PawPaw Swatch
With a hot pink tint, this balm nourishes and hydrates the lips using Olive Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil and also adds a hint of colour too, you can also use it on your cheeks for a pop of colour if the mood suits.

This box also had what Glossybox call a treat, which is an extra product and in this case, it was a Natural Fusions Chia Seed and Argan Oil Hair Mask from Palmers
Glossybox April Edition Palmers Natural Fusions Hair mask
I absolutely love hair masks and I try to ensure I do one at least once a week if I heat style my hair or twice a month if I am not using my straighteners. Described as being intensive and deeply conditioning, this mask nourishes dry and damaged locks. Formulated with Argan Oil which helps with hydration and rejuvenation of the hair, Chia Seeds which help to protect your hair, this mask should be used on clean, wet hair and left to work its magic for around 15 minutes.  I am really looking forward to giving this one a try.

Again for me, this is another great themed box and I love that the contents match the theme. As always you can subscribe to Glossybox right here and if you use the code BQUEEN20 you can get yourself 20% off that first box!
