Sanctuary Spa Signature Candle

I am sure most of you are familiar with Sanctuary Spa and have tried more than one of their products. For me, the Luxury Bath Float has been a favourite for some time, but there are just so many amazing scented products to choose from.

L’Occitane #LightforSight Candle

For the last few years, I have been lucky enough to promote the L'Occitane Charity Candle and the brand has always supported global sight issues and of course, this year's candle it is no different.

L'Occitane are working alongside Unicef this year and 100% of the profits from each candle sold goes straight to them. At £9 it isn't going to break the bank but it is worth noting that for every sale it does have a meaning and that is a years supply of Vitamin A supplements for 5 children. As we all know, Vitamin A is crucial as it is an essential nutrient for healthy vision, teeth, skeletal tissue, and skin and a deficiency in Vitamin A is the first cause of childhood blindness, affecting a staggering 127 million children worldwide - one-third of whom are under the age of 5. 

With the support of €1,000,000 over three years, L'OCCITANE allows UNICEF to protect 1.7 million children, including Myanmar, Papua New Guinea and Bolivia, three countries where the prevalence of Vitamin deficiencies A is particularly high. UNICEF program aims to provide children aged 6 months to 5 years with the two vital vitamin A doses necessary for their proper development. So the candle, which as well as raising money, is a beautiful gift and, as with the rest of the L'Occitane Christmas Collection is housed inside a tin and is dressed with an incredibly bold and bright design from the famous fashion house CASTELBAJAC Paris. It smells absolutely incredible and it has notes of freesia, red berries, Heart of Lily of the Valley, Rose and Jasmine which work with the warmer notes of Amber and Rosewood to create a beautiful floral scent which is one of the strongest I have had from a L'Occitane Candle.

Pixi Beauty Mattelast Liquid Lipsticks + Swatches

I adore the Pixi Matte Last Liquid Lips and when this package arrived, alongside a little squeal of excitement, I noticed some little pots in the top half of the box and couldn't wait to get stuck in. The original collection launched some time ago with six neutral toned shades (reviewed here) and if nude shades are for you, then there is definitely a shade for you amongst them. Fast forward to now and Pixi have added to their range by introducing five new shades to the collection to bring in the pinks, oranges and berry shades.

Described by Pixi as being extremely long-wearing and comfortable, these MatteLast liquid lips have a non-transferable formula which is also non-drying thanks to the infusion of Rosehip Oil and Vitamin E which instantly works to hydrate the lips. 

I love the unique Pixi Petal applicator which has been designed to help with precise application and an even distribution of colour onto the lips. The tip, on the end of the applicator, is also pretty clever in that it allows you to outline the lips precisely. These MatteLast Liquid Lips also:

• Set quickly to a matte veil 
• Have colours which are universally flattering and wearable
• Has colour which applies smoothly and uniformly in a single stroke
• Are not tested on animals
• Are Paraben free

The shade range offers something for everyone, I adore Really Rose and it is one that I have actually re-purchased too, but alongside Really Rose there is also the choice of quite a few more shades and they include:

• Au Naturelle is a warm peachy pink nude,
• Bare Beauty is what I consider a true nude. 
• Matte Beige is the shade which will probably flatter most and is again a warm toned nude,
• Pastel Petal is a pink/brown nude,
• Really Rose is a beautiful rose toned nude,
• Evening Rose is the boldest of the nude shades but so very pretty. 
• Peony Pink is a cool toned purpley pink shade 
• Prettiest Pink is very much a Barbie pink shade. 
• Orange Red is a bold red toned orange
• Real Red is a true natural toned red
• Berry Boost is perfect for this season and it is a deep berry red.

I like that there is a real mixture of shades, if you're comfortable with your nudes, then there is one for you right here but, if you are wanting to move outside your comfort zone, then Pixi have also factored that in and have given quite the choice.  

In addition to the eleven shades within the Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lip Collection, I mentioned the pots in the top half of the box at the beginning of this post and have included four pots of lip colours with the fifth being an empty pot and we are being asked to create our very own lip colour by mixing the red, yellow, brown and white shades. 

From this, Pixi will then choose one winner from all of the shades created and sent back to them and turn it into the twelfth shade within this range, plus, the winner will also be taken to LA for a makeover! Such an amazing opportunity and I have already mixed my shades together to create my perfect lip colour which I need to send off to Pixi! which is an amazing opportunity. Magnitone Wipeout Makeup Removing and Cleansing Cloths

I am a huge fan of double cleansing, I think I mention that in pretty much every single post, but in doing this every single day without fail, I go through muslin cloths really quickly and no matter how expensive or inexpensive they are, after a few washes they become pretty useless and less effective at doing what I want. With that in mind, I have seen the Magnitone Wipeout Cleansing Cloths raved about across my social media and wanted to give them a try. 

Luckily for me, a little package arrived in the post and I haven't looked back since, in fact, spoiler alert - I was so impressed I've since ordered some more!

Effortlessly remove makeup with the Magnitone London WipeOut! The Amazing MicroFibre Cleansing Cloth; a pack of two pink cloths that tackle stubborn makeup using just warm water.

The Magnitone WipeOut! Cleansing Cloth are sold as a pack of two for £15 (here) and they are available in two colour options - pink and grey. The cloths are ultra-soft to the touch and perfect for those who have sensitive or intolerant skin types. So long lasting, it is claimed that not only are these cloths reusable but they last up to 1000 times when washed at 30 degrees, that is quite some claim and whilst I am not going to count down from 1000 to the point they become useless, I like the very idea that I am doing my bit for the environment as well as my skin.

Designed to be used wet or dry, these cloths, which are double-sided simply glide across the skin almost effortlessly and whether you are wearing oil-based makeup, SPF, creams, lotions, gels or even waterproof mascara, nothing is going to get in the way of the fibres on this cloth which are specially designed to grab and hold everything it comes into contact with. Once the cloth is wet, it slightly swells as water is absorbed and as soon as I apply my cleansing balm and then massage my skin to begin the process of removal, everything within its path melts away and clings to the cloth, which can look pretty grim if I have spent the day wandering around London! Surprisingly it doesn't spread everything across the face as it removes either, which is another big tick.

My personal preference is to use this cloth wet rather than dry but either way, it does an amazing job when it comes to cleansing and to date, this is the best cloth I have used! Not something I get to say all too often.
