Mintd Box - 2nd Birthday

July is my favourite month (because it is my birthday month) and today I am sharing with you the second birthday beauty box from Mintd which you might have seen the full reveal of HERE on my Instagram not too long ago.

For a beauty box to make it to a second year it is quite an achievement and there is something a little special about Mintd box and that is that it is a monthly / bi-monthly luxury beauty subscription which sends to you a carefully curated selection of 4-5 full/deluxe sized luxury beauty products from exceptional luxury brands. Products across the skincare, makeup and haircare spectrum are carefully selected and handpicked from a broad section of innovative, exclusive and luxury that there is out there.

So to mark the second birthday there are four amazing brands from which there are four amazing products which are: 

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser (£35) - Sunday Riley is a brand I have been wanting to try for some time now. Everyone I know who uses any of the products is a huge fan and cannot promote them enough. Described as being a lightly foaming cleanser which contains a cocktail of vitamins, minerals & essential oils to tone and balance normal to combination skin.

So you will find ingredients such as French green clay and Moroccan rhassoul clay which work to gently lift away excess oil without drying out the skin. There is also the use of neroli essential oil and the powerful antioxidant vitamin C. Black pepper helps to boost the circulation as well as helping to rejuvenate tired skin and finally the use of frankincense which works to promote cellular regeneration to give a firmer and smoother face with visibly reduced pores. The luxurious gel formula calms and soothes irritated skin, bringing back balance and brightening the complexion.

Omorovicza Rose Lifted Serum (£90) - This is one of my favourite brands and this happens to be a product I hadn't yet tried. Described as being a luscious healing skincare product, it screams luxury and this is something I love about the brand.

The formula for this serum is really lightweight and uses natural ingredients to leave the skin feeling soothed and rejuvenated.  The use of natural sea mayweed works to relax muscles, smoothing expression lines and wrinkles, then we have Ruby crystals which give the skin an instant youthful glow so the complexion is left looking radiant and revitalised and of course there is the Hungarian Thermal Water which is used in every product from Omoroviza for its mineral-rich content.

Oskia Skincare Renaissance Mask (£51) - Described as being a spa in a jar this Renaissance Mask by Oskia is simply divine. A buttery balm that increases skin radiance and minimises the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles, it is formulated with beauty-boosting nutrients and essential vitamins and minerals that enhance cell turnover.

This mask works to even out and brighten the complexion by reducing melanin production, leaving skin feeling fresh, re-energised and youthful. Initially pink in colour, once applied to the skin the mask turns white once signifying the product has been applied effectively. What I love about this mask is the texture and how it makes my skin feel as I apply it and then after using, my skin feels so hydrated.

The final product in the box is the De Mamiel Dewy Facial Mist (£14.10) - Described as being a serum that works like a facial mist, this unique serum is formulated with essential oils so that the skin is repaired and protected, and the mind and body are calmed for an overall sense of well-being.

Ever since I started using this I have become quite obsessed with it. It can be used at any time of day - perfect in the morning for awakening the skin after cleansing, as a quick refresh mid-afternoon, to refresh your makeup before a night out or even to be used before bedtime to soothe.  It lightly coats the skin rather than drenching and it smells just incredible.

Too Faced Peaches and Cream Collection Launches at Debenhams

Debenhams is one of my favourite stores without question. Whether I need makeup, perfume, shoes, jewellery or even clothes, it is the first Peaches and Cream Collection and if you are a fan of Too Faced, you will absolutely love this collection. Looking as good as it smells, this collection has everything you will ever need. Whether you like foundations (of which there are 20 shades), primers, eyeshadows, blushes or highlighters there is plenty to be had. 

This post will be a quick overview as to what is in the collection and then over the course of the next few weeks, as I still get to know each product, a full review will appear.

White Peach Palette - Absolutely stunning, this palette hosts a collection of matte, shimmer and glitter shades. Infused with refreshing peach and sweet fig milk, the palette features an assortment of sparkling peach, champagnes, soft pinks and deep plum shades. Priced at £33. 

Peach Blur Finishing Powder - Sitting in the 'Too Pretty To Use' category is Peach blue and it is described as being a translucent all over finishing powder which creates the illusion of perfect skin. Using advanced optical correcting spheres to reflect light, creating a flawless finish that's perfect for every skin tone. Priced at £25.

Peach Mist Mattifying Setting Spray- Scented with fig milk, this mattifying mist is designed to control oil and shine as well as to give you that perfect finish to your makeup. It sets, it refreshes and it mattifies and it is priced at £27.

Peach My Cheeks Blush - These cream-to-powder blushes are just beautiful to look at and what I like about them is that they are easy to blend for that touch of colour, or should you want to make a statement they can be built up to do just that. As well as being used on the cheeks, you can also use them as a lip tint too.  Six shades in total within the collection and they are priced at £25.

Sweetie Pie Bronzer - Have you ever seen such a beautiful product in your life? If blushes are really not your thing, then this has absolutely everything! Featuring a blush, bronzer and highlighter all in one, not only does it sculpt and give you the perfect glow, it smells just incredible too! Priced at £25.

Peach Perfect Setting Powder - I love a good setting powder and this one, with its peach tint, it is just beautiful. Infused again with the scent of fig milk and peaches, this powder uses advanced optical correcting spheres that help smooth harsh lines and blur imperfections and it works on all skin tones. Priced at £20.

The final product is the Primed and Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer - This is a cooling primer which works to helps to blur flaws and smooth complexion. Using a brightening peach tint that works on any skin tone for a soft focus finish, it is not only lightweight but also comfortable on the skin and much like everything else in this collection it smells good enough to eat! Priced at £27.

Without question, this is one incredible launch and from the packaging to the scent it is just stunning, but there is something else about this collection which makes me swoon and that is how everything works so well on my skin, how it feels and currently I can't even pick my favourite product from this collection!

REN Magnesium Booster Bath Salts

My favourite range so far from REN is the Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium range (review here) which has a collection of products from bath oils and body scrubs to body washes and hand cream which has the ability to brighten and de-stress skin, boosting vitality and luminosity while calming the mind.

New to the Atlantic Kelp and Magnesium range comes the Booster Bath Salts and I this is the product which has excited me most! Anyone who reads my blog will know that I love baths and I love bath salts, they are totally underrated. For me, being in water is one of the best ways to calm down, de-stress and forget about life.

How can Magnesium help? Magnesium salts from the Zechstein sea that help to relax muscle tension, relieve stress and prepare the body for sleep.  When used in the form of bath salts, they are described as being a Magnesium boost for a restoring and relaxing bath to help relieve muscle tension and promote mind relaxation for a more peaceful sleep. Before using the range, I would have rolled my eyes at such claims, but I am a total convert and these bath salts are just incredible. 

Once the bath water is running, you need no more than three handfuls of the salts, which are fairly large flakes, and scatter them across the water and then slide into this heavenly bath and relax for around 20-30 minutes.  When I use these salts, for an extra treat I add a capful of  Ren’s Atlantic Kelp and Microalgae Anti-Fatigue Bath Oil which is formulated with seaweed oil extract to moisturise and tone the skin, this oil also helps to combat fatigue by detoxifying and relaxing both your body and mind.  I have an incredibly busy and stressful job, as well as running a home, being a wife and blogging as a hobby, so sometimes life does get on top of me and I need a little time out and some definitely some 'Me time' and with this is the perfect way in which to do just that.  

Available now from SpaceNK, these salts are simply incredible and are worth absolutely every single penny of the £28 for 750g and I've got a back up ready and waiting for when I run out.

Microbarbox Gin Fizz & Prosecco

With my birthday on the horizon, I am being plagued by family members as to what I want for my birthday. I am perhaps one of the most indecisive people there is to know which is apparently frustrating but the one thing I do love if Gin and the Microbarbox Gin Fizz & Prosecco set from FindMeAGift is just a perfect present. 

Described as being a bar in a box, this cocktail box has everything you need to create some incredible cocktails and it is so beautifully presented, it almost seems a shame to open it and use anything inside. That aside, this box also features a cocktail menu which shows you how to make some incredible cocktails. I haven't yet managed to turn BeautykingUK into Tom Cruise from the film Cocktail but he does make a mean Raspberry Gin Fizz.
