Evolve Organic Beauty Christmas Gift Guide

Evolve Organic Beauty is a brand I was so excited to get to know and one I have loved every minute of doing so. Having seen it explode across my social media, Evolve Organic Beauty products are lovingly handmade in small batches at their studio in Hertfordshire, England to ensure the freshness of the precious antioxidants in the natural oils, butter and extracts. The products are vegan, cruelty-free and eco-friendly.

This Christmas, Evolve Beauty have a whole host of incredible Christmas Gifts on offer for gifts suitable for each skin type and every budget. I was kindly given some of them by way of an introduction and they are just wonderful.  These are just a few of them!

Imagine these three stars hanging from your Christmas Tree with their wonderfully decorated packaging which features the Christmassy scenes of either Gingerbread men, Snowflakes or Reindeers. Inside the star, you will find a tin of Lip Shine (£14 each).   

This, of course, isn't just any lip shine, it is one that is rich in Cacao butter, rose flower oil, vanilla and gold sparkles. As soon as the lid is removed, there is a wonderful scent that draws you in coming from organic Blood Orange essential oil you and the Lip Shines are all completely vegan and they use a 100% natural alternative to petroleum jelly and is blended with Amazonian Cupuacu Butter and organic Cacao Butter which together work to nourish and replenish dry lips.  

What I really love about these lip shines, is not that they feel amazing on the lips, which of course they do either on their own or over your favourite lipstick, but you can also use them as a shimmery highlighter on your cheeks and collarbones too!

Next, from Evolve Beauty I have two crackers and again, they are both such a wonderful way to be introduced to the brand and what products there is on offer, not to mention how wonderful the packaging is too.

The first cracker is called 'Let it Glow' and it is a Limited Edition cracker (£20) which is described as being the perfect stocking filler. Inside this cracker are two amazing products that you just cannot help but love. The first is a Lip shine which I have featured above and it is the perfect accompaniment to the second product within this cracker which is the Radiant Glow Mask. This rich face mask is just incredible, I absolutely love it. Blended with raw cacao, clay and coconut granules these ingredients come together to cleanse, purify and buff the skin.  It is also enriched with antioxidants, magnesium, Vitamins and the fatty acid Omega 6, so this mask not only works to improve hydration and the complexion it does all of this whilst promoting cell repair and skin cell rejuvenation. Finally, there is the addition of sweet almond oil which is a high moisturising, emollient and nourishing properties.  

This mask smells good enough to eat thanks to the raw cacoa and it just feels amazing on the skin. Natural sugar extracts turn the exfoliating mask into a creamy milk on contact with water so that it rinses off easily and once you have removed every trace of the mask it leaves behind skin which smooth the touch, feeling moisturised and for me, skin which feels calm and less stressed.

The second cracker is the Calm and Bright Limited Edition Cracker (£25) and inside there are three products which come together to hydrate, soothe and calm.  

The first product is a Daily Defence Moisture Mist (30ml) and this is described as being a potent protective serum facial mist which uses an organic Mexican cactus elixir to calm irritated skin whilst helping to increase hydration.  This mist smells just absolutely amazing and also include African Moringa peptides which protect the skin from pollutants and purify the skin while hyaluronic acid, which is known for its ability to hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and leaves the skin looking much improved.

The second product within the cracker is the Hyaluronic Serum 200.  Perfect for normal to dry skin, there is 200mg of hyaluronic acid per bottle and it works alongside some Organic pomegranate extract which works to soften and protect the skin, Aloe Vera Juice which is soothing for dry, sensitive skin. Will help to calm redness and heal the skin and then we have the delicate fragrance of organic rosewater which gives this serum one of the nicest smells.  What I really like about this serum is just how it makes my skin feel, having double cleansed, I apply this serum before any moisturiser and my skin feels like ive just had a facial, so smooth to the touch.

The final product within this cracker is the Daily Renew Facial Cream (30ml). Perfect for normal to dry skin, this cream feels incredibly luxurious. Using a blend of pure organic oils such as Argan Oil which is is high in vitamin E and fatty acids, giving the skin a youthful glow. It is easily absorbed. Vitamin E and fatty acids are also known for their ability to repair damaged skin and prevent further damage. Apricot Kernal Oil and Sesame Oil which both have moisturising, nourishing and revitalising properties. 

You will also find Hyaluronic Acid as an ingredient and again, this cream is delicately fragranced using both soothing hypoallergenic vanilla & coconut natural fragrance.

3 Reasons 360 frontal wigs are so popular

360 frontal wigs are becoming increasingly popular in the beauty industry and among many young girls and women. These wigs go all around your head, allowing you to style your hair all around and not just the front giving your hair a natural look and hairline.

360 frontal wigs are not like any other regular wigs and even though they are sometimes confused with lace closures, these two are not the same. A lace closure can be used to make a wig since the closure only covers a portion of the head. But, sometimes 360 frontal wigs are considered closures. However, they both create a natural looking and flawless hairline.

Great for protective styles

360 frontal wigs are quite versatile and allow you to set up different hairstyles. Because the full lace base allows the wig to be parted anywhere on the head, these wigs can be worn in any style, be it a ponytail or just left to hang on your shoulders. This makes it look real, amazing, natural on almost everyone and it’s also sufficiently protective.

Most 360 frontal wigs either come pre-plucked or you can pre-pluck them yourself. Due to this, you can easily braid/cornrow it, wrap, or flatten the hair providing you with different styling options. But, when installing and styling, try and flatten your hair as flat as possible for a more natural look. This improves how the wig finally looks on your head when it’s styled.

Although you will find some synthetic types, most 360 frontal wigs are 100% human hair, therefore, you can use curling and flat irons the way you do with your natural hair. However, limit using hot hair tools since the hair can get damaged due to overheating. If possible, just set the hair and let it air dry.

Easy to install

You have two ways in which you can install a 360 frontal wig, you can opt to use an adhesive/glue or not. Installing a 360 frontal using glue only takes around one hour, making it an easier option compared to weaving bundles. The time you take to install depends on the technique that you use. During installation, ensure that you cover your hair by either wearing a stocking or wig cap that is close to your skin's color so as to have your parts look natural.

Durability

360 frontal wigs can last for 3-4 weeks if glued well, although it depends on how long you wear it and how much you sweat. Frontals are not the best choice for people who sweat a lot. If you are someone who sweats a lot, the wig will not stay on for too long, especially if it is installed with glue/adhesive since the glue will come off fast.

One advantage is that the wig can be removed, washed, dried and then reinstalled as many times as you want. But, you need o to wash it carefully at least twice a week to keep it clean and soft. Use a hair conditioner to wash it and leave the wig in the conditioner for a little longer time while washing to get more nutrition.

Since only one can serve you for a long time, this saves you money as compared to buying several hair bundles along with one closure for parting purposes. Choose from the best 360 Frontal Lace Wigs and 360 Lace Frontals for a better, natural look.

GlossyBox - All That Glitters December Box

Next out of the box from Beauty Bvld comes the Divine Hydra Gel Lip Masks. Having used these masks before, they are designed to plump and smooth dry and damaged lips. The lip masks have three main aims - to plump, add moisture and contour. To do this, they use the natural elements from red seaweed plant, exfoliating properties derived from sugar beets and ingredients which occur naturally in green tea. 

Hyaluronic Acid boosts hydration with Amino Acids helping the skin to stretch and bounce back into place. Anti-Oxidant rich Red Wine extract and Collagen components help to plump and smooth lips for an overall more youthful appearance.

Staying with Makeup and this time we have the Doucce Relentless Matte Lip Crayon in shade Winterberry. This is a new brand to me and until now, I had never heard of Doucce was born in New York, its name was inspired by the French word “douce”, which means soft and elegant.  

The Relentless Matte Lip Crayon is described as being a long-lasting deeply pigmented lip colour that glides on to the lips giving an ultra-matte finish. The formula provides both high coverage and an incredibly creamy saturated finish, the shade Winterberry being a rich bold red shade, making it perfect for this time of year. The crayon also comes with a sharpener to keep the tip defined for easy and precise application.

Another brand I have never come across until now is Niko Pro and within the box, we have the Jelly Blusher in shade Bali. Niko is a British Vegan Brand who make some incredible looking makeup brushes and believe fur should remain on animals where it looks much cuter than on human beings (hear hear).   

This liquid Jelly Blusher has shimmers of gold nestled within the pink hue of the blush and it is said to not only give your cheeks a flush of colour but also a bit of a sparkle too.  The jelly formula is quite unlike any blusher texture I have used before and it is lightweight when applied and also quite hydrating too.

If you love Unicorns and Fantasy then you need to hunt down this bottle of shower gel from Imperial Leather because it will be ticking all your boxes.  Called the Fantasy Icons Cosmic Unicorn Shower Gel, it is said to have been inspired by cosmic moons and sparkles.  

It is scented with pink grapefruit, citrus and floral aromas and leaves your skin feeling magically soft.  I think this is a lot of fun, anything that makes having a shower fun gets the thumbs up from me and being pink and loved by Unicorns hopefully means the Mister will leave it alone!

Finally within this months Glossybox we have 'The Incredible Pore Strip' by MayBeauty. I have had my eye on the MayBeauty Foot mask for some time, but this pore strip is the first product I have got in my hands to try.  

These pore strips are designed to remove blackheads and impurities and have charcoal as one of the main ingredients alongside Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel.  What I love about pore strips is removing them and seeing exactly what they do manage to remove from my nose, some have been totally useless and others have been incredibly good and I have high hopes for this brand given the rave reviews I have read.
