TOUCH IN SOL Metallist Shadow Liquid Foil & Glitter Duo + Giveaway

I don't think I need to mention how much of a fan I have become of the brand Touch In Sol by now but just incase you have no idea who or what I am talking about you can find reviews here, here and here on products I have been using from the brand.
TOUCH IN SOL Metallist Shadow Liquid Foil & Glitter Duo
Today is a product that will appeal to just about everyone and it is a product I just cannot rave about enough and that is the Metallist Shadow Liquid Foil & Glitter Duo.

Combining foil and glitter shadows, this dazzling duo imparts rich, metallic pigment and stunning sparkle for truly show-stopping eye looks. In five gorgeously gleaming molten metal shades – from pale gold ‘Talia’ to burnt copper-bronze ‘Eldora’ – this is an effortless way to flatter and enhance your eyes, channelling some South Korean cool in the process.
Eye shadow is a product you can never have too much of but throw into the mix something which also combines the use of foil and glitter, well now you're talking. There are some brands who have some very good glitter shadows and then there is Touch In Sol and it is these ones which literally are the best I have tried. A dual ended product means that you have one end which is a super metallic creamy shadow and the other end is a glitter, that compliments the creamy side perfectly. Once on the eyes and the liquid has set this stuff does not budge, it doesn't fade and it doesn't crease. I also use a primer on my lids and having spent an entire day moving around London from meeting to meeting starting at 8.30am and getting home at 9pm, the last thing standing was my eye shadow.  It doesn't scratch, it doesn't itch, there is no chunky flakes of glitter which set awkwardly, everything about Metallist is easy to wear and comfortable.

I have five incredible shades which I have been trying out over the last few months and I am struggling to decide which one is my favourite:
  • Margaret - Burnt Rose-Orange
  • Eldora - Copper Bronze
  • Adelio - Bronze Ruby
  • Lottie - Dusky Mauve Rose
  • Talia - Pale Champagne Gold
From the five above, Talia is the one I have worn the most during the daytime, but if you have seen me at events of an evening, then I have either worn Eldora or Lottie, it really depends on my mood but depending on yours you can mix and match them too.

The application of Metallist is really easy, ive seen a few people apply theirs slightly differently to have I do it, but it has to be what works for you.  Using the doe footed brush, I apply the creamy eyeshadow to my lids first (after priming) and then allow the shadow to almost dry, but not quite before adding the glitter.  When you add the glitter you can again use the spatula shaped applicator or depending on your preference your finger or a brush.  I always tap some of the glitter onto the back of my hand before applying, this then allows me to control where I want it to go, set and how I want it to look.  I can, then at any point apply more if I need too.

If I have managed to tempt you into trying Touch In Sol Metallist Shadows, then hold it right there because I have a giveaway for you over on my Instagram HERE and it is quite straight forward.

There is a whole host of Touch In Sol makeup and skin to be discovered over at Cult BeautyASOS and recently launched at Feelunique and honestly, it is a brand which continues to surprise me.

Indulge Beauty

Not too long ago there was a rush of excitement as people claimed and confirmed that Sephora was coming back to the UK and I was dreaming of all the products I could buy, here I am in 2018 and still no Sephora! Will it ever arrive, well who knows but in the meantime, nestled in the heart of Westfield Stratford City is a store called Indulge Beauty, a store I have now visited three times in as many months and quite possibly one to watch.

Indulge beauty describes itself as being a revolutionary, interactive shopping experience which is home to over 120 cult, classic and emerging brands. The brainchild of f entrepreneur Sanjay Vadera, the mastermind behind The Fragrance Shop and he identified a gap in the market for customers to shop across brands when shopping. Whenever you go to a makeup counter for a makeover, they will only ever use their own products, there is nothing wrong with this, the sales assistants have jobs to do. However, how many times do you wear a full face of makeup and stick to just one brand? For me, it is never. I do sometimes use more of one brand than another but that is all. So Indulge Beauty is designed to allow you to shop cross brand and by that I mean get your lipstick from Illamasqua, your primer from Touch In Sol, your gloss from Buxom, your mascara from Makeup Forever, your eyeshadow from Urban Decay and your foundation from The Ordinary for example.  So inside the store, you can settle yourself into a makeover station and experience a whole new kind of fun.

It isn't all about makeup either.  Inside you will find products for skincare, bath and body, supplements, hair care, gift sets, travel sets, hair accessories and tools and of course fragrances.  There is also an incredible selection of brands which includes Urban Decay, The Ordinary, Buxom, GHD, Caudalie, Verso, Ouai, Touch In Sol, BeautyBlender, Delilah, Glam Glow, Makeup Forever, Eight and Bob, Tom Ford, Erborian, Aveda and so many more.
Indulge Beauty
What I really like about the store is that it is gender fluid.  You don't walk in and feel as though it is aimed at women or men, it is aimed at absolutely everyone to come along and enjoy, celebrate and indulge in beauty. You can find Indulge Beauty on the lower ground floor, next to Superdrug but don’t fret if you can’t make it because Indulge Beauty has an online boutique. New customers can get 15% off with the code WELCOME15 at check-out.

Exuviance Detox Mud Treatment

One brand a lot of my Blogger friends rave about is Exuviance and it is a brand until now I had never tried. I was kindly sent two new products which will soon launch and the one I am sharing today is the Detox Mud Treatment. Like anyone, I love an excuse for a good pampering session and this was something I looked forward to trying. If you have never come across the brand before, Exuviance is a dermatologist developed skincare range created by Drs. Van Scott and Yu, widely recognised around the world as leaders in the field of cosmetic dermatology. They are creators and original patent holders of the first glycolic peel and discovered the rejuvenating powers of Alpha Hydroxy, Polyhydroxy and Bionic Acids, which provide proven, visible results backed by evidence from numerous clinical studies, patents & articles in every major medical journal of dermatology.

Described as being a deeply purifying mask that works like no other, to decongest the pores and detoxify the skin it is perfect for anyone all skin types and obviously for anyone who feels their skin needs a really good deep clean. What caught my attention to this mask was the inclusion of Japanese Binchotan Charcoal, an ingredient I have seen in quite a few products and one that my skin reacts too really well. I have combination skin which gives me an oily t-zone and also dryness on my cheeks and there are times when my skin can just be a nightmare and like most of us needs something a little extra special.

Exuviance state that the inclusion of Japanese Binchotan Charcoal is what makes this mask unique. The Charcoal has strong absorptive properties that act like a magnet and in doing so it naturally draws out impurities and toxins from the skin that can be caused by environmental factors such as pollution. This results in a beautifully radiant and glowing complexion, leaving pores refined and energising stressed skin.  Alongside the charcoal there is a whole host of other ingredients which include:

• French Clay has a high mineral content that absorbs excess oil to leave the skin with a natural matte finish.

• NeoGlucosamine is clinically-proven to boost collagen production whilst lightly exfoliating the skin, leaving it smooth and refined.

When it comes to using the mask, you need to ensure that you have fully cleansed your face and décolletage and then having applied a fairly thin layer, simply leave it on for 15 minutes at which point it has dried but isn't too tight and then rinse off using warm water. Designed to be used twice weekly, I haven't found the mask to irritate my skin or leave it dry and taut, instead I love the fresh clean feeling I am left with.
