Luxoni Beauty - An Introduction

I have recently been introduced to a new e-commerce website called Luxoni Beauty and they have a website which specialises in luxury beauty for less. Established just a few years ago in 2020, Luxoni Beauty describes itself as being "more than just a store… it’s a lifestyle". 

With a love for luxury beauty, and simultaneously wanting to find the best deals — an idea was born. The website, which is incredible chic and easy to navigate round has products listed across many categories - fragrance, haircare, skin care, makeup and so on, under each one of those headings you will find further options to break down the amount of time you need to search for something, unless of course like me, you love to just browse and procrastinate from time to time.

Medik8 Lipid - Balance Cleansing Oil

It’s no secret that cleansing happens to be my absolute favourite part of my skincare routine and newly added to my routine is the Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil from Medik8.

Ever since Covid struck, my skin has been really unhappy and as well as taking vitamins and supplements, which is completely new to me, I have had to slightly alter my routine. The Medik8 Lipid-Balance Cleansing Oil is described as being a deeply nourishing formula that’s suitable even for the most sensitive of skin. Whilst my skin isn’t sensitive, it is feeling dehydrated, so the words deeply nourishing appealed. 

This cleansing oil is enriched with Moringa Seed Extract which works to melt away dirt, impurities and makeup and as it does this, the cleanser works to restore vital hydration to maintain a healthy moisture balance.

On the skin, this cleansing oil is just delightful, it’s soft and smooth without being greasy and because it has a pump action bottle, it makes applying it to the skin effortless.

Once on the skin, the oil changes when it comes into contact with water to create a milky emulsion, the formula uses essential lipids and their job is to fortify the defensive barrier by keeping water in and pollutants out. Then with Vitamin E which delivers improved free radical protection to keep skin at its full strength. Then with Safflower Oil who is tasked with nourishing and smoothing the skin.  

After use, not only did my skin feel so soft and smooth to the touch but as promised, it also felt refreshed and clean without stripping my skin of what feels like the very little moisture it has. For that reason alone, I’ve been using this Oil Cleanser every single day since it arrived and as oil cleansers going, it is the best one I’ve ever used and I’ve tried quite a few!
