Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Body Mist

One of my favourite candles is Jasmine Dreams by Rituals and it was the first product I had ever used from the brand. Fast forward a few years and I have used a few products (here and here) and the most recent to my collection is The Ritual of Ayurveda Body Mist.

Ayurveda originated more than 5000 years ago in India. This philosophy is based on restoring inner harmony through the old practice of cleansing and nurturing your body and soul. The Ritual of Ayurveda has been designed to support this philosophy and offers a collection of luxury home and body care products that help balance your body, mind and soul.

The Rituals The Ritual of Ayurveda Body Mist is described as being a rejuvenating spritz that can be used to refresh skin or perfume linens. It is infused with the delicate fragrance of both Indian Rose and Himalaya Honey which work with Sweet Almond Oil.
  • Indian Rose - As a universal symbol of purity and love, the sweet and delicate aroma of the rose is said to evoke positive feelings. Its aroma also has soothing properties.
  • Sweet Almond Oil - an ancient Ayurvedic ingredient that restores the skin's moisture balance.
  • Himalaya Honey - Himalaya Honey has been known for its medicinal properties for a long time now and it has a special softening and moisturising effect on the skin. Himalaya Honey is harvested from the virgin forests in the Himalayan mountains, the most natural environment imaginable, and provides essential nutrients and vitamins.
On the mist is spritzed, those delicate aromas come to life and creates such a refreshing scent, on the skin it moisturises and nourishes and leaves a trace behind, on Linen, again the mist settles to create a subtle scent that lingers for a good few days.  For me, this mist works best once it has settled, the aroma of Indian Rose is most definitely the dominant scent until it dries down to allow the Himalaya Honey to add a delicate sweetness and it is just a beautiful scent.

Alongside the Body Mist, the Ritual of Ayurveda also has a candle, foaming shower gel, hair mist, Shower Oil, Dry Oil and much more (here).  This Body mist is priced at £16.50 and is available from places such as LookFantastic and John Lewis (aff links)

Jurlique Winter Essentials

I am probably the only person who really hates snow.  It is pretty to look at out of your window whilst you are nice and cosy but my love affair with it ends right there.  Walking on it makes me want to heave as it crunches beneath my shoes and as for slush and ice, it is a big fat no.  With snow comes cold weather and right now, it is absolutely freezing and my skin is just not a fan.  Thankfully, Jurlique have got it all covered with their Winter Essentials Collection to help keep your skin in amazing condition and smelling absolutely incredible.

This gift set comprises of four products across a range of face and body products available from Jurlique and they include:
Softening Shower Gel Rose (300ml) - If you love the scent of rose, then you will absolutely love this Shower Gel. It has a mild, delicately scented formula with a natural Rose fragrance. Infused with pure organic botanical extracts of Chamomile, Liquorice and Rosemary, the scent is so fresh, you could easily be walking through a spring garden.  On the skin, not only is the formula luxurious, it gently cleanses and softens the skin whilst at the same time maintaining the skin's natural protective barrier to prevent dryness. Helpfully, the shower gel comes housed in a pump action bottle which makes it really easy to use in the shower.  This Softening Shower Gel is also free from soaps, sulphates, parabens, silicones, PEGs, artificial colours and fragrances.

Rose Hand Cream (30ml) - This is one of my favourite hand creams from Jurlique and I have a full review of it (here) already.  It is enriched with honey, which is incredibly nourishing for the skin as well as Precious Rose Oil to restore the skin as well as Sweet Almond Oil and Voila which together work to soothe dry irritated hands.  There is also the inclusion of antioxidant Vitamin E, which works to protect skin from damage caused by free radicals.

Rose Body Oil (100ml) - If you love the scent of Rose and love body oils then this combination is definitely one to try.  Suitable for all skin types, not only is this oil delicately fragranced with rose, it moisturises, nurtures and balances the skin.    The lightweight formula is delightful on the skin, it sinks in without leaving any greasy residue behind on the skin.  It is also perfect for using as a massage oil too!  I have a full review of the Limited Edition Version of this Rose Oil (here) already on my blog.

The final product in this collection is the Skin Balancing Face Oil (30ml) - I am a huge fan of facial oils and this one is incredibly divine.  It is non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin.  Enriched with Safflower, Rose Hip, Avocado and Macadamia Seed Oils all of which work to soothe and rebalance the skin whilst Shea Butter moisturises to leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and protected from environmental aggressors.

If you have never used any products from Jurlique before or if you are already a fan, this collection is just incredible, more so because each one of the products can be bought separately or as part of a collection from places such as Lookfantastic.  This particular set has a value of £75 but was on offer for just £51.

Do you have a favourite Jurlique product?
