Antipodes Flora + Credo Skincare

One of my favourite products ever is the Antipodes is the Aura Manuka Honey Mask, which I have shared quite a few times. Today I am back with the latest launches from the brand - Flora + Credo.
Antipodes Flora + Credo
Described as being "the new gamechangers" for skin that is stressed, sensitive and unpredictable, together these two products work to calm redness, reduce blemishes and restore balance.    For my skin, since having Covid it has changed. Now much more dry whilst still being combination, I need to really pay attention to what my skin needs.

The first product within this due is the Flora Probiotic Skin-Rescue Hyaluronic Mask (£28). Described as being a probiotic face mask to rescue tired, stressed, or sensitive skin. Vegan friendly, this creamy face mask is suitable for all skin types, but for those who have tired, stressed and blemished skin.

Needing just 15 minutes of your time, Flora is designed to be used 1-2 times a week to hydrate and nourish the skin.

Ingredients:

  • Plant-based Hyaluronic Acid - a powerful moisture-retaining properties - it can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water.
  • Kalibiome Sensitive - balances your skin’s flora, helping to reduce redness and control inflammation.
  • New Zealand Harakeke Flax Gel - provides natural hydration to leave skin soft and plumped.
Then finally, this mask is infused with a botanical blend of wild rose and lavender, the face mask provides aromatherapy benefits with each application. What I have enjoyed about this mask is just how soothing it feels on the skin, it isn't too thick or gloopy and having applied it to the skin, leave for up to 15 minutes, where it will partly dry in parts, before gently rinsing off with warm water.  Once the mask has been removed, or in my case the remnants of the mask have been removed, because my skin drinks it all up, my skin is so soft and smooth and really feels that hit of hydration.

Then we have Antipodes Credo Probiotic Daily Revitalise Serum (£38) which is described as being a daily serum featuring high-tech ferments targeting blemishes and fine lines for healthy, clear skin.

Again, this serum uses the innovative probiotic Kalibiome AGE which is combined with kombucha, hyaluronic acid, and bamboo ferment which come together to help cultivate the growth of good bacteria on the surface of the skin.

Ingredients:

  • Plant-based Hyaluronic Acid - a powerful moisture-retaining properties - it can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water.
  • Kalibiome AGE postbiotics - innovative ‘good bacteria’, shown to help increase skin elasticity and hydration, whilst reducing the appearance of redness and wrinkles.
  • Bamboo Ferment & Kombucha - Feeds the skin with good bacteria, helping to balance the microbiome and strengthen the skin barrier.
  • Bakuchiol - This is an alternative to Vitamin A which helps to smooth and refine skin texture, reducing the appearance of fine lines.
I absolutely love the texture of this serum, with its pink tint and almost gel like feeling on the skin, it comes with an accompanying dropper is really helpful at giving you those required 3-4 drops onto the skin and as it absorbs, it isn't greasy or tacky and it doesn't leave the skin shiny.  Designed to be every morning after cleansing, but before moisturising, it is a lovely step within the routine.

If you are new to Antipodes, it is worth noting that they are committed to repurposing, reusing and recycling, including using recyclable boxes made from 100% biodegradable cardboard derived from sustainable forests as well as glass bottles, aluminum tubes and printing with 100% eco ink from vegetables.
