Temple Spa My Kinda Skin, Combination Skin Essentials kit

When it comes to choosing your skincare products, there is an endless stream of advice that can be as cumbersome as it is confusing. Being a Beauty Blogger, I am lucky to have access to some of the best skincare products available as well as some of the best advice. Today I am sharing the Temple Spa Capsule Skincare Collection, called My Kinda Skin, which is very clever and might just be what you need if you do find skincare confusing.  I have combination skin. That essentially means that my skin is as dry as it is oily. For me, it is the t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) that is oily and more often than not leads to that mid-afternoon shine but then on both cheeks I suffer with dryness, so it can often be quite the task to choose which product works best for my skin.

The My Kinda Skin, Combination Skin Essentials kit which forms part of the Temple Spa Capsule Skincare Collection is made up of a trio of products, all of which have been specifically chosen for my skin type. Inside this lovely bag, the trio of products are designed to cleanse, tone and moisturise and work together to ensure your skin is balanced and cleansed without stripping it of moisture.

The first product within this package is called Dual Act wet and dry cleansing lotion. Described as being a highly intelligent formula that behaves as two cleansers in one by treating multiple skin types at the same time, hence why it works perfectly for those with combination skin

It intuitively deals with an oily T-zone, whilst gently cleansing the drier areas of the face. It is perfect combination skincare for skin with a dual personality, leaving the whole face clean and smooth without being taut. The gel-lotion texture, which is lightweight in feel, contains what is referred to as the savvy CombidermTM complex, as well as Mediterranean extracts of tomato, marjoram, olive, apricot, grapefruit and wild yam, plus skin boosters and vitamins.

The second product is the Toning Essence which gets the thumbs up for being an alcohol-free facial cleansing toner. I do like to use a toner in my routine, not every day, but most days and they do play a significant role. Working to remove deeply embedded debris and any remnants of your cleanser, this toner is cooling and soothing on the skin.

I really like that this toner has a light, refreshing texture and it has a fragrance which, like the cleanser, is inspired by a Mediterranean summer salad with the inclusion of tomato, lemon, orange, melon, rosemary, basil, mandarin, lime and ginger. It is absolute divine and not too heavy on the fragrance and it doesn’t leave the skin feeling dry or taut either.

The final product within this trio is a balancing moisturiser called Moisture to Go. Said to be perfect for skin which can’t make its mind up whether it’s oily or dry, which is definitely mine right now.

It has a lightweight silky texture which my skin just loves, it absorbs almost on contact with the skin and again, it features ingredients that sound like your salad shopping list with ingredients such as tomato, grapefruit, marjoram, wild yam and olive which are combined to work with vitamins C and E as well as the Temple Spa high performance Combiderm™ complex which works to bring balance - absorbing excess oil and rehydrating the drier areas at the same time.

As an idea, I really like that there is an option to choose one of the kits for your oily, combination or normal skincare type, but there is also the option to build your very own collection too. This particular kit is priced at £65 here.
