Japanese Cleansing Cloud by British Beauty Blogger

When I saw that Jane, better known as British Beauty Blogger, had created her very own cleansing bar, during Covid no less, I knew that it would be amazing and I bought it double quick.

Cleansing is part of my skincare routine that o enjoy the most, it’s quite relaxing of an evening to remove the entire day from your skin. Even if you haven’t left the house, you’ll be surprised how much muck, to coin a phrase, is removed!

The inspiration for this particular cleansing bar is very much a Japan theme and it is said the shape, defined as a happy cloud, is paying tribute to the rituals of Japanese cleansing and bathing.

This is the type of product that you can use anywhere on your body and as soon as you open the packaging, you are hit by this infusion of the most amazing citrusy, zingy fragrance, all before you have had it in contact with water. Jane states that this is an “anywhere” bar that you can use in the shower, in the bath, it’s for your body and safe enough to use on your face too - a lovely little multi-use cleansing bar - if only we could take it on holiday!

The ingredients include a whole host of wonderful this such as Japanese Yuzu which creates that amazing introductory aroma. The hero ingredient for this cleansing bar is hemp oil, the hero ingredient which helps to keep the skin supple and hydrated as it is high in linoleic and gamma-linoleic acids, as well as Vitamin E, D, B1 and B2 with minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc and calcium. Then we have soothing rice milk which gently exfoliates and is packed with antioxidants for smooth and protected skin. Finally we have an abundance of oils which include coconut oil, olive oil, meadowfoam seed oil and avocado oil so you can imagine just how amazing your skin feels after using it!

I have used this bar of joy on my face as part of my cleansing routine, I’ve used it on my body in the shower and I’ve used it to cleanse my feet before applying a foot balm and what I love is how easy it lathers with minimal effort.

If you haven’t bought your cleansing bar yet, then do, the scent alone is enough to put a smile on your face. The Cleansing Bar is vegan and the best part? It costs just £12/100g at victoriahealth.com
