Alpha-H Skincare 3-Step Approach

Alpha-H is one of my favourite skincare brands, I am lucky enough to receive packages from the brand, but I also purchase my own products too and many of them have appeared on my blog for the past few years.  The love of Alpha-H for me started with a conversation with the late Michelle Doherty, a frank and direct discussion about what my skin needed and why helped me to turn a corner, those one niggling insecurities now a thing of the past.
Alpha-H Skincare 3-Step Approach
Fast forward 25 years and Alpha-H has come a long long way - pretty much a household name thanks to the iconic Liquid Gold and I don't know that many people who either haven't heard of it or used it at some point within their routine.  Today see's the turn of what is referred to as the Alpha-H 3-Step Approach or the Triple A as I refer to it so I can remember the order!

The First A is Activate.  This is with using the Alpha-H Balancing Cleanser with Aloe Vera, which I am a huge fan of and have featured a few times on my blog.  A cream cleanser which is free from drying detergents and SLS's.  Enriched with Aloe Vera alongside Vitamin E, together the two ingredients work to soothe and condition the skin without stripping it or leaving it feeling dry.

On the skin it removed makeup and other impurities from your day whilst at the same time, it works to correct the skin’s natural pH balance which then prepares it for optimal ingredient absorption.

The Second A is for Accelerate. For this step, which is all about skin renewal and rejuvenation there can only be one product for me and that is the iconic Alpha-H Liquid Gold.   Acids are not something to fear when it comes to skincare, their role is to work to correct damage, boost collagen and revitalise texture and tone.

Liquid Gold, which I absolutely adore, combines 5% Glycolic Acid with a unique low-pH delivery system which stimulates action at a deeper layer of the skin to accelerate the renewal process whilst at the same time, it also improves brightness and tone, supports collagen production and helps minimise the visible signs of sun damage, ageing and blemishes.

The third and final step is A for Advocate - By using the word 'advocate' it means for your skin and to do that it means using the likes of vitamin serums, replenishing moisturisers and not forgetting the protective SPFs.  Within this edit is the Daily Essential Moisturiser with SPF50+ and it happens to be one my most-used Alpha-H products.

Described as being a super lightweight non-greasy 3-in-1 moisturiser which provides optimal sun protection with 5 UVA/UBA filters. It uses Silica and Pro Vitamin B5 to aid with hydration and then Vitamin E for its anti-inflammatory benefits.

This 3-step routine is really easy to follow, it comes with lots of advice and help as to getting the best out of your skincare, what products to include into your routine for extra benefits - all of which you can find right here.
