The 2019 John Lewis Advent Calendar is one I really like the look of and it should come as no surprise because not only was the 2018 calendar pretty amazing, it is also one of my favourite places to shop for beauty products.

As you might expect from John Lewis, they have an advent calendar that features some of the most amazing high-end brands there is to discover and naturally all are available in stores and online.  Brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Evolve, Bare Minerals, REN, Floral Street and many more.

These days, it’s easy to set up your own business from the comfort of your own home. While you will need some supplies, setting up a beauty and makeup business is a relatively inexpensive and simple task. Here, you’ll discover how to set up an online beauty and makeup business internationally.

Know what products you’re going to sell

One of the first things you’ll need to figure out before setting up your beauty and makeup store, is which type of products you’re going to sell. The beauty industry is extremely competitive, which means you’re going to need to stand out if you want to succeed.

So, if you do want to sell directly through your website, you may need to have one professionally designed.

Establish relationships with suppliers

If you want to make the most profit from your business, you’ll need to make sure you have great relationships built with your suppliers. Compare different suppliers such as wholesalers and couriers to ensure you’re getting the cheapest prices. Sites such as Parcel2Go can help you identify the cheapest couriers. Don’t be afraid to negotiate with suppliers too as this can make the costs more affordable.

These are just the basics of setting up a beauty and makeup business. Remember, when setting up internationally, you’ll need to factor in the costs of shipping. You’ll also need a courier who delivers internationally. Once you’ve got your store set up, you can focus on marketing yourself to draw in new customers.
