Escentric Molecules Escentric 02

I absolutely love perfumes and my tastes have changed quite a lot. Whilst perfumes such as Bvlgari Pour Femme will always remain special to me (wore it on my wedding day) I have over the years tried quite a few brands that I have come to love. I do like to change my perfumes around quite a lot but there is always a handful that I will always come back to and one of them is Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 which is just stunning and if you haven't tried it or worn it, hunt it down (Liberty) and give it a whirl! As with Molecule 01, Escentric 02 is designed to be different and alluring; unlike anything else on the high-street or in a perfumery.

Escentric 02 came into my possession a few months ago and as much as I adore 01 from the range, I was excited to see what 02 could offer. Described as being a fresh and sensual with a gin & tonic accord and hint of Austrian lemonade, it is designed around the aroma chemical, Ambroxan, with vetiver, hedione (green jasmine bud), muscone and orris incense.

Escentric 02 when spritzed has this really incredible zingy freshness to it and for me it is quite a masculine hit of fragrance until the point upon which it wears down and does 'its thing', at this point the wow factor kicks in sweet, it is musky and it is earthy all rolled into one and it then becomes your very own signature fragrance to the point where ive tried it out on a few people and the scent is different on every single person and it is something that, like 01, can be worn by both men and women.

Both of the Escentric Molecule fragrances have been ones which really capture people as you walk past them and I have had, on so many occasions, people asking me what perfume I am wearing. Both make such a statement, both are totally different to each other yet I adore them both.

If you're the kind of person that likes to make a statement with their scent, then Escentric 02 is definitely for you. Available in either a 100ml bottle and a 30ml with or without a sturdy travel case.

Get Rio Ready with Elegant Touch Nails

Right now I am totally obsessed with the Olympics, Team GB are doing just amazingly well and I am so proud to be British, we are such a small Island and there we are 2nd in the medals table with only the USA above us, whom, are a massive country! Elegant Touch are also clearly in the zone and have released two limited edition sets of nails which are perfect to get in the Rio spirit or even as a bit of fun for the summer.

Within the collection are two different designs specifically for the Rio Olympics and they are just so cute. Inside each box are more than enough nails for more than one wear and they come with everything you need for your application such as a buffer and some glue. Once applied they last for around 7 days before the wear and tear sets in and they start to fall off.
Get Rio Ready with Elegant Touch Nails
The two designs, Pineapple Party and Rio Ready are online exclusives (here) and retail for £7.95.

Pineapple Party are the kind if nails you can't miss. They have a very brightly coloured, very summery pineapple design print adorning each nail and they are a lot of fun.
Get Rio Ready with Elegant Touch Nails
Rio Ready gets you into the carnival spirit with two different nail designs which can be worn individually , for an accent nail or mixed and matched. The choice of blue and white stripes or a palm print on a yellow background are both striking and stand out.
Get Rio Ready with Elegant Touch Nails
Inside each box you will get 24 nails in ten different sizes so there should be a size to fit your own nails. I have personally always found Elegant Touch nails to fit my own fingers which are quite small and whenever I have worn them, they do last a full 7 days. Easy to apply, the nails come with easy to understand instructions and if nail glue isn't your thing, then I can highly recommend the nail guards (which ive run out of) to protect your nails from any damage.

I think these nails are a lot of fun and something a little bit different to get you in the party mood.

Primark PS Pro oval brushes

I am a huge fan of Primark and it isnt something I am afraid to say and I can spend many hours in the Tottenham Court Road store just browsing (I just wish they would sort the changing room queues out) and it is rare that I leave with nothing. More recently, I have found that Primark have really upped their game in the beauty department, more so with the release of their new PS PRO range of oval shaped makeup brushes, which on the face of it appear to be the perfect dupe for high-end Artis oval brushes which I have seen all over Instagram and Twitter, but the prices differ massively as you might expect.

I have been itching to try Oval brushes for quite some time now and did have some in a basket on eBay to try until I saw these quite accidentally and instead purchased the lot. Oval brushes seemed to become a must-have item when Kylie Jenner shared her love for them and here are mine.

As you can see, the P.S Pro Oval Brushes come in three sizes: small, medium and large, simple as that with no fancy names or numbering system to remember. The small blending brush (£2.50) is the brush that I use for a variety of different tasks such as blending eyeshadow, applying my concealer around the sides of my nose and under my eyes. The medium brush (£3) is one of the brushes I use the most and it is perfect for liquid foundations, bronzers, blushers and you can use it for contouring, highlighting, strobing and even non makeup tasks such as applying your moisturiser (If it is good enough for Kylie Jenner). The final brush, the large blending brush (£4) can again be used for the tasks mentioned above and especially great for applying foundations.

I absolutely love these brushes and think they are more than amazing value for money. The bristles are synthetic and really nice and dense, really soft on the skin and haven't shredded a single hair in the months that I have had them. They work really well with both liquids and powders, though you might need to use a little more liquid than you would normally use with traditional makeup brushes until you get to grips with how much they suck in when using. The end result is seamless, no hairs stuck to your face and no visible shading and blending lines.

Washing them is also no issue. I use my Real Techniques gel cleaner and haven't found they need much more attention than any other makeup brushes that I own to clean, but I do run them through water until it runs clear. Once I am happy they are clean, I leave then bristles facing down, usually hanging over the sink, to air dry. Once dried, the bristles are back to their original softness.

I absolutely love these brushes and as ive said, think they are an absolute bargain. If like me you had been wanting to give an oval brush a try but wasnt quite ready to splash the cash, Primark is worth visiting to grab these to try because if you don't like them, then you haven't wasted a lot of money.

Have you tried oval brushes yet?
