This is one of my products from the Murad collection and I've featured it on my blog already.  This product is clinically proven to be on par with a microdermabrasion facial when it comes to smoothing an uneven texture and what this product does is to work to effectively shift dull and dead skin cells via enzymatic, chemical and micro-mineral exfoliants - glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids exfoliate which also help to brighten and purify your pores.  

It is also infused with the brand's Vita-C Complex which is described as being a highly absorbable form of vitamin C and its job is to to deliver higher antioxidant defence and visibly illuminate your complexion.

Complex, a potent blend of sea emerald, peptides and date extract processed with hydrolysed rice protein which helps to boost collagen production while also lifting, firming and plumping the skin. Then for even more luxury and to ensure your skin really gets that treat, the serum also includes deep infusion oil technology that uses rapeseed oil to carry the nourishing botanicals, enabling them to work deep in the skin, boosting a youthful look.

BARE MINERALS AGELESS 10% PHYTO FIRMING CREAM 8ML - RRP £9.00
This treatment cream is a mini treat that not only helps lift skin but it also works to reduce the appearance of fine lines (and wrinkles) as it adds radiance.

Within the cream you will find Ceramides which helps to support the renewal of skin's natural protective layer and also forms an effective barrier against moisture loss so skin acts younger, PhytoMoist which is said to be a moisturising blend of natural hyaluronic acid which is derived from mushrooms and moisturisers from beets and plants which are clinically proven to keep skin hydrated and prevent skin ageing. Thwn finally the ProCollagen Complex which is a powerful vegan collagen alternative that helps firm skin and enhances skin density and elasticity as well as supporting the skin’s collagen production.

DR JACKSON 02 NIGHT CREAM 15ML - RRP £20.00
Designed to nourish, moisturise and hydrate your skin as you sleep, this night cream calms and hydrates for eight hours, locking in that moisture overnight. Ir used ingredients such as 

• Kigelia fruit extract: Known for its calming and soothing properties and it also works to erase imperfections and even out skin tone.
• Baobab seed oil: High in fatty acids and works to encourage regeneration and promote elasticity whilst visibly tightening the skin and diminishing scarring.

Alongside those two is also the inclusion of frankincense which is known for its ability to help you drift off to sleep, but it is also really soothing on the skin. Then there is  mango seed butter which helps to protect the skin against environmental contaminants.

This month's TOYL Beauty Box is titled The Radiant Skin Edition and it is worth over £164. The first product in the box comes from Whind with their Marrakech Light Illuminating Magic Oil (£69).

Described as being a weightless facial oil that features a blend of 9 cold-pressed, antioxidant-rich botanical oils:

Next we have the Gatineau Paris Radiance Enhancing Gommage (£43) and if you are in need of a product that will gently exfoliate your skin, this is just beautiful to use.

The word Gommage translates to mean Erase and this product is perfect for use on sensitive skin types and it helps to gently and effectively refresh the skin to improve its texture and tone. It has a smooth balm-like texture, which transforms into a silky oil as you massage it into the skin to dissolve impurities, while at the same time, the fine grains and beads work to buff away dead skin cells.

The final product  is from Beauty Kitchen with their Seahorse Plankton Really Radiant Moisturiser (£12).

This is the brands best-selling daily moisturiser and it is designed to lift, hydrate and restore radiance to the skin. With its lightweight formula, this cream is packed with powerful microalgae actives which are scientifically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst boosting moisture, giving skin a plump and smooth texture. There is also the inclusion of Shea butter and coconut oil which really work to deeply nourish and hydrate skin.

TOYL Night Workers Beauty Box

This months TOYL Beauty Box is titled ‘Night Workers’ and it features products from some amazing brands to work their magic whilst you sleep.

I am a big fan of products that I can apply to my skin to help it to recover, de-stress and let me wake up with my skin looking radiant.

The first item out of the box is one of my favourite products from Alpha-H and it is their Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum (£74.99).

I have a full review of the serum on my blog if you want to read about it in more detail. Using a combination of Glycolic Acid (14%) and Granactive Retinoid (1%) in an industry first, this serum works to leave your skin visibly smoother, plumper as well as to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, stimulate collagen product and reduce redness to name just a few benefits. I absolutely adore this serum and have been through multiple bottles and my skin absolutely loves it.

The second product comes from Superfacialist and it is their Hexapeptide9 Anti-Ageing Advanced Rejuvenating Night Cream (£25).

Next up from Temple Spa is the From Strength to Strength Nail and Cuticle Treatment (£12).

This Serum which is infused with a powerful blend of 65 minerals including calcium, zinc, Iron and magnesium which work to not only improve the condition of your nails but also those cuticles which, if you are anything like me, you neglect until they weaken and then need some TLC. This treatment serum, which has a fairly thick texture, absorbs really quickly and leaves behind nourished feeling cuticles.

Then finally we have the Rejuvenating Collagen Face Mask by BeautyPro (£5).

Described as being intensely hydrating, this mask works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Using ingredients such as Green Tea Extract and Marine Collagen which are powerful antioxidants. This mask is also infused with Marine Collagen, which works in synergy with multiple vitamins, herbs and botanicals which come together to visibly improve skin’s tone and texture.

TOYL Give and Receive November Edition

The November edition of the TOYL Box has arrived and it is once again, an incredible box, which I pretty much say every single month.  TOYL, or Time Of Your Life is a beauty box subscription service that has been created specifically for women over 40 who want beauty confidence from the products they buy.  This month, the box is titled 'Give and Receive'.

First out of the box comes from the fabulous Murad, a brand I am a huge fan of. The product in question is the Targeted Wrinkle Corrector.

Described as working like an instant filler, it uses bioavailable hyaluronic acid which floods those wrinkles and fine lines with hydration to plump, smooth and reduce wrinkle intensity.  There is also the inclusion of elasticity-boosting hexapeptide which helps the skin to bounce back from lines triggered by facial expressions, plus there is the plant-derived squalane which prevents moisture loss, so it helps the skin resist future wrinkles.  One of the few Murad products I haven't tried and I cannot wait to report back on how amazing it is!

The second product comes from The Organic Pharmacy and it is the Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

As the warmer weather turns colder, I am sure mine isn't the only skin which really reacts in those first few weeks by feeling drier than usual, so I am all about the serums and oils.  This serum is really lightweight on the skin and is non-sticky. Made from 95.8% organic ingredients and uses ingredients that keep your complexion hydrated and glowing. So by using the benefits of triple molecular weight 0.2% Hyaluronic Acid, this formula works to plump the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while at the same time, working to ensure the skin maintains appropriate moisture levels.

The third product comes from Aromatherapy Associates and it happens to be one of my favourite products, the Revive Bath and Shower Oil.

This oil blend is just joy in a bottle and is perfect for this time of year. With its blend of Grapefruit oil, Rosemary and Juniper, you have a complete mood uplift in a bottle. I always apply these oils to my skin before bathing or showering, taking the time to let those oils work their magic not only on my skin, but on my senses. TOYL AUGUST BOX 2022 - FINE LINE FIX IN FOUR WEEKS!

The August TOYL Beauty Box has arrived and this month, the theme is Fine Line Fix in Four Weeks edition and it is packed with a whole bundle of very high quality products that are described as being perfect to help smooth, soften and decrease fine lines. For me, an eye cream is an absolute must-have product within my routine and this eye cream, is delightful and a full review can be found here on my blog. Specifically formulated with a powerful mix of retinol and rich Marine Kelp Complex, they both work together to reduce the appearance of crows feet and dark circles whilst at the same time keeping the skin area around the eyes moisturised.

The second product is from another beautiful brand and one from whom I have only tried makeup from, so this is a real treat. From Chantecallie is the La Creme Rich Anti-Age+.

As a cream, it is described as being luxuriously velvety smooth and it is infused with five extraordinary plant stem cells; Bionymph, Plantago, Caffeine Free Coffee, Daphne, and Raspberry which work together to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles whilst at the same time visibly lift and plump helping reveal a perfect 3D re-contoured look of the face.  I am really hoping to not love this cream because a full-sized version retails for well over £300!

The third product out of this months box is from one of my favourite brands - Ren Clean Skincare and it is their Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Tonic.

The AHA Tonic, which I have fully reviewed here, is described as being a toner that provides the skin with a daily dose of clean bio-active extracts to help you get glowing. This tonic is formulated with the pH of 3.5; the optimum pH at which your skin naturally exfoliates. TOYL - The Ultimate Body Box

This body gel works to help ease sore and aching muscles after a long day at work or an intense workout. It uses the essential oils from Rosemary, Black Pepper, Lavender and Ginger which work to instantly cool and warm those aches and pains while at the same time hydrating and softening the skin.

The second product is from a brand I’ve never heard of until now and it is the Stone Street Soaphouse with their Geranimo Wholesome Body Cream.

Natural and cruelty free, this body cream promises to hydrate with no greasy feeling. Using nourishing oils such as jojoba, argan, and almond it has a wonderfully smooth texture and the most wonderful geranium scent, it might just encourage me to use the full tub.

Up next from Mudmasky is a product I’ve never even given a thought to needing, but it intrigues me and that is the Saved by the Scrub for Underarms.

This 100% vegan underarm scrub used 5 natural ingredients to keep your armpits fresh for up to 16 hours. The formula uses Premium Kaolin Clay whose job it is to suck out the bacteria and remove dead skin cell and re-used coffee power to neutralise smells. 

The next product is from This Works with their Stress Check CBD Body Polish.

This scrub is described as being a natural exfoliator that utilises lactic acid and pumice to buff away dead skin and daily debris. The combination helps to not only decongest clogged pores but to also reveal a skin tone that is more even with a softer texture and looking more visibly radiant. Platinum Jubilee Beauty Kings and Queens TOYL Box

Starting with Dr Murad and the Intense Recovery Cream (£69). For anyone who reads my blog, you will know that I am a huge fan of the brand and this cream is incredible.

From Bumble & Bumble is the Thickening Plumping Hair Mask.

I absolutely love using a hair mask and try to ensure I use one at least once a week.
