Stylpro Glow & Go Mirror

As the StylPro brand continues to grow, BBC Apprentice winner, Tom Pellereau has partnered up with ASOS to launch the exclusive GLOW & GO LED makeup mirror and it’s not just any mirror of course. Anyone who has come across the StylPro brand will have seen, used or even own the Brush Cleaner, The Beauty Fridge, The Stylfile or maybe even products I am still yet to discover!

The STYLPRO Glow & Go LED Travel Mirror is simply superb in every single way, not often you ill hear me say that, but I am obsessed with it. Having worked from home for the last 14 months and now slowly venturing out the house back to my office, the lighting isn't the best, so this mirror has accompanied me, in my bag for the past few weeks so I can make myself look half decent for the continuing Zoom and Team meetings which seem to rule my days.

The mirror features dimmable lighting settings, a pop-out stand and a USB charging port and it is described as being the Mirror which is there for all your makeup needs whether you are at home or on the go and it costs just £29.99 here* which is a ot less than the other mirror I have in my bedroom on top of my chest of drawers!

The mirror comes with a 10x magnetic magnifying mirror which attaches itself magnetically to the mirrors surface, all without leaving a mark on the glass detailing it was ever there. Perfect for those up close moments you need for applying those lashes or even completing the rest of that eye makeup look. I tend to use the magnetic mirror to look for stray eyebrow hairs that need removing or putting back in their place, the same with ensuring I don't have any stray mascara lurking under my eyes!

This mirror is so lightweight I wasn’t too sure it would stand unaided, but it absolutely does, even on the most unusual of surfaces (think cushion on your lap) and it can stand vertically or horizontally too. Once charged, thankfully it comes with a USB cable, even though we all have a lot of them, the battery will last for around 2 hours if you keep it on the brightest setting, longer if you have it dimmed.

This mirror has also been designed to be incredibly portable and to ensure a safe journey, it comes with a sturdy protective sleeve to ensure this mirror travels just as well as you do and it is lighter to carry than my iPad or Kindle!

Glossybox - Let The Sun Shine Beauty Box

Spring is here and Summer is on the way, hopefully with a lot more sunshine than we have seen of late. Last month we had been treated to a box of products ready for Spring. This month's Glossybox has been titled 'Let The Sun Shine' and it is packed full of brands and their products which have you Summer Ready.  

I am sure most of us are looking forward to catching up with friends and families with a BBQ, belated celebrations and sharing those new found places we might have come across during those daily walks. Whatever the event, Glossybox have got you covered.

The first item out of the box comes from Lottie London with this full sized Power Foil Eyeshadow in the shade Golden Hour.

Described as being a versatile high coverage metallic eyeshadow, it is designed to give you an intense foil finish in just on swipe and if you want to build up that coverage, then this foil allows for you to do just that.

The second product out of the box comes from Ciate London and it is a full size Gold Definer Liner.

This liner is an ultra-fine precision liner in the most beautiful golden shade and whether you want to use it create those golden wings, use it to make your eyeshadow pop or even use it as a stand alone liner, it is versatile, glides onto your skin and is really comfortable to wear. It also has a built in sharpener at the pencils base, so it always remains on point.

The next product from Kueshi smells absolutely incredible and it is the Lemon Shower Gel, perfect for a warm Spring Day.

This natural shower gel works to cleanse and protect the skin throughout the whole day and ingredients such as revitalising lemon and chamomile extracts carefully clean the skin whilst respecting your skin's natural pH, plus it leaves a lovely lemon refreshing scent lingering on the skin.

From MineTan we have the Rapid Recovery After Sun Gel, a product that everyone should have, of some sort in their fridge. I usually have another brand lingering there when I am feeling hot and flushed, so am looking forward to trying this one.

For faster, more effective relief that revitalises skin after sun exposure, this gel is enriched with powerful key ingredients. Firstly we have Aloe Vera, a natural anti-inflammatory which soothes whilst providing a protective layer to the skin and then a skin lovers favourite, Niacinamide which helps retain hydration and reduces the appearance of sun damage and fine lines.

The final item in the box comes from Rodial with the Dragon's Blood Eye Masks to hydrate and tone.

Described as being a product to brighten your eyes, this innovative gel eye mask is said to be great for providing intense hydration to your delicate eye area. Using Hyaluronic Acid, as well as providing an immediate de-puffing and cooling effect as a result of Dragon's Blood (from the Croton Lechleri tree) your eyes will look instantly brighter and more alert. I will report back on whether or not they do!

So there you have this months box. As with last months Edition of Glossybox, I really enjoyed the theme and again, there is a nice mixture of brands that I haven't come across or am not too familiar with.
