Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox

The November Edition of Roccabox has landed and it is aptly titled 'Rest, Relax and Reset' and I am thrilled to be able to share it with you in this blog post.
Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox
I am not entirely sure how we have moved so quickly from the Summer to it now being 6 weeks from Christmas, already I have office parties and dinners in the diary for the next month, a stark contrast to last year when that diary I bought remained empty, though a poignant reminder of how lucky I am to still be here. This months Roccabox is all about instigating a bit of mind and body detox and take as much of an opporunity as we can to relax and wind down before the festive season kicks off.

The first product out of the box comes from Mudmasky and it is their Mineral infused double-cleansing Mask. Described as being a 3-in-1 formula, it is a non-foaming, fragrance-free cleansing mask is infused with rich minerals to detoxify and deep cleanse your face in an evening.
Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox
This cleanser is formulated with a blend of cleansing minerals and the brands signature Premium Moroccan lava clay. This effective formula works to bring your skin’s pH in balance again, reduce redness and it help preventing and reducing acne.

The second product is from Symbiosis London with their Tightening and Resplendent Eye Mask which is described as being a revolutionary innovation in the beauty market in the form of an Eye Mask in-cream to tighten, rejuvenate and brighten the delicate eye area.
Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox
Rich in hyaluronic acid, which penetrates into the skin to hydrate and improve the appearance of imperfections, fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Then we have Pullulan which aims to instantly provide a skin-tightening effect as it adheres to the skin and then finally Shea Butter which works as an emollient to keep your skin, young and supple as it also aims to help tighten and lessen the wrinkles and fine lines appearance.

The third product comes from Daily Concepts with their Reusable Rounds, within the box you get a pack of 2 to try.
Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox
These natural and reusable makeup removal rounds are described as being the perfect solution for helping you to start minimising your eco footprint. I have completely changed over from using Cotton wool pads to using re-usables. These pads are ideal for cleaning and makeup removal, they stop the need for cotton wool pads and makeup wipes - both of which you dispose of, with these, you simply wash them and reuse them.

From Bloom and Blossom comes the Pjamarma Dry Body Oil, which is such a brilliant name for a product.  Described as being a relaxing body moisturisation without the 'waiting-for-it-to-dry' time.
Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox
This is a spray on oil, so it is really easy to use and it smells absolutely incredible.  Using the likes of Frankincense, our holistic healing fragrance hero helps to calm your mind, Moringa Seed Oil which is rich in essential fatty acids and is also high in antioxidants, plus it also helps to reduce inflammation. Then there is Evening Primrose Oil which is described as being a super ingredient that does everything from wrinkles to roughness, dryness to downright irritation. I have only had this oil for about a week and I absolutely love it, so much so ive ordered another bottle.

The final product within this box comes from Skin Chemists with their Advanced Collagen Facial Toner.
Rest, Relax and Reset with Roccabox
This toner, which is designed to be used after cleansing, uses three main ingredients - Aloe Vera for its hydrating and soothing properties plus its ability to help improve the skins texture, Chamomile which again is know for its soothing properties and Collagen which with its moisturising properties, helps to soften and rejuvenate the skin.  On the skin, this Toner is delightful to use, it doesn't have that strong alcohol content that I find with similar products and it does a great job at soothing and smoothing my skin.

I think this box has a little bit of everything to help you rest, relax and reset.  The products that have been included make a wonderful bundle and if I had to pick a favourite product from the box, I think you might have guessed it is the Bloom and Blossom Pjamarma Dry Body Oil.

This box of delights is said to be worth over £147. Roccabox is a beauty box subscription service and there are further subscription offers available to choose from with boxes starting at just £15 per month plus P&P.

The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Collection

The final seasonal fragrance from the Body Shop that I am sharing with you today is the Joy & Jasmine Collection and my favourite of the three.  I have already shared Love & Plums and Kindness and Pears and they all offer something a little different at this time of year and, despite all being part of gift sets, they are available to purchase individually so you can create your own little gift.
The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Collection
This collection features around 8 different products as well as 3-4 gift sets priced for different budgets and today I am sharing 3 of the products from the range with you - the Joy & Jasmine Hand Wash, the Body Butter and the Shower Gel.

The collection is described as being enriched with jasmine extract from India and notes of orange flower, rose and sensual jasmine, this is one of the most wonderful scents I think I have ever tried from The Body Shop, I absolutely love it, but then I do love Jasmine as a fragrance note in most products.

The first product from my trio is the Joy & Jasmine Shower Gel and I am about to start my second bottle, having bought another last week whilst stocking up on the Ginger Shampoo, which we both just love.
The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Collection
What I love about all shower gel's from The Body Shop is just how little you need to create a lather, one squeeze of the bottle and you have enough to wash your entire body. With this lather, the scent of Jasmine definitely intensifies and it is beyond beautiful and for anyone who isn't a fan of the big floral scents like Rose of Geranium, then this sits somewhere in the middle, though in my opinion, far superior a scent.  It is fresh, light and lingers wonderfully on the skin after use. The Shower is priced between £2 and £6.50 depending on your size choice.

We all need beautiful handwashes and this one is ticking all the boxes for me right now. Sitting on the sink of my almost finished redecorated Kitchen is the Joy & Jasmine Hand Wash.
The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Collection
This hand wash is enriched with jasmine extract and has notes of orange flower, rose and finally sensual jasmine. The gel-to-foam formula is dispense from the pump dispenser and I have found just one tap is more than enough to wash and cleanse your hands. When it comes into contact with water, it lathers quickly and leaves behind that scent I am a tad obsessed with, all without stripping or dry out the skin. This hand wash is priced at just £6.50 but it sells out pretty quickly, so if it catches your attention, grab it as soon as you see it!

The final product I am sharing within this trio is the Joy & Jasmine Body Butter. I am pretty lazy when it comes to using body butters, I admit it, it starts of okay for about a week and then I forget. Not with this, I have barely enough left in the tin to get me through the next few days, that is just how much I have enjoyed using it.
The Body Shop Joy & Jasmine Collection
Alongside the jasmine extract and the notes of orange flower, rose and sensual jasmine is Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter and Sesame Seed Oil and together they create a luxurious non-sticky, non-greasy moisturiser that smells delightful.  I apply this to damp skin after being in a fairly hot shower and when used in conjunction with the Shower Gel shown above, the scent is intensified and it lingers on the skin much longer. You only need a small dollop of this as a little goes a very long way, but I do tend to smother myself in it. Priced at £18, this is a big 200ml tin and it has lasted me almost 6 weeks of using it 3-4 times a week.

So there you have the third and final seasonal fragrance from The Body Shop for 2021 and this one is my absolute favourite and one not to be missed.
