John Lewis Scent Series Discovery Box Fragrance Gift Set

There is a lot of Advent Calendars within the beauty world this year, its nice to see brands launching their first offering to others with their 6/7th year of Advents. So far this year,  one Advent Calendar which has stood out and is incredibly impressive for comes from John Lewis.  I understand that not everyone likes a beauty Advent Calendar and prefer the more traditional chocolate approach (or both if you are me), but just sometimes a product really grabs your attention and when details of the John Lewis Scent Series Discovery Box Fragrance Gift Set hit my inbox, it had my attention.

As you can see, there is some incredibly lovely brands and their fragrances and I am already obsessed with Juliette Has a Gun as a brand and Lipstick Fever is an absolutely delightful and it is an example of a fragrance I really didn't like when I spritzed it in Harrods, but took a sample home and changed my mind completely, I have just finished my first bottle of it!

Suqqu Gel Eyeliner Pencil Dark Brown

If there is one item of makeup that I don't go out of my way to purchase or get excited about, it is Eyeliner. As a product it tends to be something I wear for special occasions rather than being part of my everyday arsenal.

From Suqqu, a brand I am really enjoying getting to know, I have tried a few products from their skincare range and my introduction to the brand began at a Zoom Class centred about the Gankin Massage and then I have tried the Watery Protection SPF30 with a few other products still to share, but today is about the Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Dark Brown.

I have dark blonde hair, so a black eyeliner isn't always the shade I need and I am not quite brave enough to use those beautiful bright shades, despite being told I could pull most of them off because of the blueness of my eyes.  So I have been using the Gel Eyeliner Pencil in Dark Brown 02 Shade from Suqqu for a few months now and it is incredibly easy to use.

Described as being a silky smooth, long-wearing pencil, what I love is how easily glides onto the skin without snagging or dragging. It has an ultra-fine 2mm nib and because it is a Gel Eyeliner, it has a lovely creamy consistency which is packed with a lot of pigment, so if you like to tight-line your lashes or draw those pesky flicks then this is the pencil to do that with. As it is also water and oil-resistant, if you have watery eyes, then this eyeliner isn't going to budge too easily, though if you are quick after applying it, you can smudge it out.

The White Company Advent Calendar 2021

The White Company Advent Calendar is back again with its 4th year of Advents ready for Christmas 2021 and anyone who is a fan of the brand is going to absolutely love this offering. The 2020 Advent Calendar, which is here, was pretty stunning.
